Zepar ground his teeth together, his nails (even in human form) digging into the underside of the desk. He. Just. Could. Not. STAND. THESE. PEOPLE! None of them ever used their eyes. None of them had a single original thought in their heads. And he was paid to cater to their every whim. Grrrrrrrrrrr. It was enough to make anyone snap, but Zepar was playing for keeps. None of these oh-so-hauty merchants or their plump wives, the smelly workers covered in all manner of unmentionable splatters, the withered hags and their equally wrinkled husbands, or the airheaded girls and their fratboy boyfriends noticed the faint glow of the ink as they signed their checks, or the whiff of coppery blood and sulfurous brimstone that their pens exuded. And none of them would later be able to trace their weeks of coming misfortune to the coldly smiling clerk at the oddities and supplies shop. His contracts were untraceable, even by magic or psychic powers, because the victims had freely given away their fortune, and their payments kept him safely hidden from the Shadow Hunters, with just a little bit of power left over, stored away for his (literally) diabolical plans. And some of that luck had been very useful to him lately... a larcenous young magic student had traded over a disk labled "L3m3g3t0n," swiped from the magic university library, in exchange for a new body, face, and identity after one of his attempts at living the easy life on the path to power had gone awry. For this prize, Zepar had only stolen the boy's memory of the store, making it incredibly unlikely he'd ever find the way back. The problem, however, was that this program, which supposedly stored details of all magic used to control and combat demons, was mystically bound and technologically encrypted. And he was pretty sure that he wasn't going to get as lucky with finding the key. Sighing as the last of the stragglers, shuffled out of the shop (easily four minutes after the posted closing time), Zepar cleaned up, slipped out, locked the door, and decided to drop by at one of the local bars. Sitting on one of the bar stools, near an impressive, if slightly more mature-looking brown haired man, Zepar ordered his usual: "A Pandemonium Morningstar, please." Sipping on the overly sweet drink (which was swirled with red, pink, and orange liquid), he turned to scan the other patrons surreptitiously.

Ace was relieved when her work day was over, the day had been slow which was pretty rare, usually they got more then just the couple of petty criminals, but of course Ace wasn't complaining. She sighed as she got on her hover bike and rode off to her hole in the wall apartment that she called home. As she was just stepping off her bike, her phone went off with its annoying work tone. "Damn it this always happens." Work Text: Slime Demon, old HoverCycle factory, bottom level. Warnings: Teeth and Claws, toxic body fluids, paralyzing slime. USE CAUTION Ace sighed again in annoyance as she picked up her helmet again and got on her bike once more to get to this stupid factory. Since she was one of the shadow hunters that prefer the upper levels to live in she knew it would take her a little longer then the others. She groaned again as she revved her bike and took off. She was moving at a pretty fast speed knowing well that Ambrosia should already be there since she lived the closest to the factory. Maybe I should just let the others handle it, I'm sure they wont miss me. Ace thought but just ignored her own thought knowing well that the others would probably interrogate her as to why she didn't show up. She continued riding through the path as she got closer to the Bottom level. Her tail swinging around as she sped up then suddenly stopped seeing Monty not to far from the factory. She just rolled her eyes and started her bike again passing Monty then parking her bike. She got off of it and looked over at Monty again. "Hey slow poke you coming or what?" She asked seriously as she began to walk over to the factory but first chaining her bike well so that no one not even magical beings would take it and cloaked it by turning it invisible.

D.J. focused her view on her target, the man walked through the dirty streets of the bottom level with ease. D.J. just rolled her eyes, to easy, she thought as she never lost track of him as he continued to walk down the streets. D.J. was crouched on top of a run down building never losing her target as she jumped from building to building keeping her trained eyes on him. The man suddenly stopped walking which meant it was D.J's cue to finally get the job done. She watched as the man took out a package from his pocket, D.J. smirked maliciously as she quickly jumped down right in back of the man, already laser gun in hand as she shot right through his heart. The man fell as D.J. took out one of her blades and cut the man's head off. She put his head in a bag and just sighed as she grabbed the package and smelled the fresh drug and money inside of it. "Perfect." She whispered to herself as she took her position and began running through the streets till she reached an abandon tavern. She entered it and looked around for a moment before she felt a blade at her throat. D.J. growled and quickly spun taking whoever had the blade down. She then pounced looking at the were-wolf on the floor breathing hard with fear. She just growled in frustration as she got up making sure she still had the package in her possession as she looked over at Eddie. "Next time I wont hesitate in killing you Eddie." She warned the young 18 year old were-wolf who like D.J. had also joined at a young age. She just rolled her eyes at the boy and continued walking through the building till she found a lit room. There in front of her at their desk stood one of the Were-Assassins leaders. Jax was her name, a were-tiger and a deadly one at that. D.J. approached her with her head bowed down "Done Deal Jax, here is what that stupid vampire was carrying." She placed the package on her desk and turned. Jax just nodded as she growled her appreciation. With that D.J. left the room as another were-creature came up to her and handed her an envelope. She nodded to them and walked out of the tavern.

Dani Love was up and dressed in no time at all, she was cleaning up her shop, Modern Love. When a customer came in, she smirked and attended to her, It's been awhile she thought as she smiled, kindly, "Welcome to Modern Love, how will I'll pleasure you?" she said, as she placed her hand on her shoulder. The teenage girl that looked like she could step into somewhere else.
Later
She smirked as the teenage girl was now vanished...okay eliminated but still. She ran a hand through her violet bangs, what to do now? She could go mess around in the Bottoms but theirs most likely Shadow Hunters there right about now and she just didn't feel like fucking around with them, at the moment. She quickly cleaned up her mess and sat on the counter, started waiting for closing time.
