In the beginning, when there was nothing but chaos, the Titans gathered, absorbing like energies and expelling that which was different from them. In the havoc, some tried to give birth to new forms of themselves, but these children, the Gods, were more advanced and had greater identity than their parents. The gods could also make alliances, and they fought and turned back the Titans, binding their parents in a prison that was supposed to last forever. The titans' other brood, collectively known as titanspawn, were the inhuman monsters of myth, who retreated in the face of divine might. The gods then set about constructing reality in three levels: the Overworld, where the Gods lived and set things in motion; the World, where mortals lived and Fate decreed the patterns that all things, even gods, had to follow, offering both great rewards and incredible risks; and the Underworld, where the souls of the dead gathered, constructed around the Titans' prison. Each god ruled over a geographical area and culture in different pantheons, while ensuring that their energies were properly controlled: Amaterasu made the Sun rise in Japan, Apollo did the same in the Greco-Roman world, and Huitzilopoctli did likewise in the Aztec empire. The gods traveled to the World often, and had romances and eventually children with mortals, and these children became heroes, and could rise in power to become demigods and even gods themselves, if they were favored by Fate and took part in great adventures, for immortality comes first through stories and legend, and then in fact. But then the gods noticed that the more time they spent among mortals, doing great and terrible deeds, the more tightly fate bound them to each other and to mortals... and so it was agreed that the gods would retreat to the Overworld and the respective godrealms of each pantheon, and only visit the World occasionally. Time passed, but then, sometime over the last 25 years, several of the Titans burst free from their prison. The Underworld was fractured, the Titanspawn gathered to begin tormenting and infiltrating Humanity, and the Titans besieged the godrealms. As a result, though humanity has largely ignored the patterns, too consumed in their hunger for the next high, fame, money, or lover; great forces and cosmic dangers have been unleashed: earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes, wildfires, volcanic eruptions, tornadoes, avalanches, pestilence blizzards, drought, war. Many gods died in the fighting, but the strongest pantheons continued to resist the Titans... but they could only fight on one level of existence, and couldn't oppose the works of the Titanspawn in the World while the Titans themselves attacked in the Overworld. So a few of the gods from each Pantheon that could spare them managed to sneak to Earth to spend time there, wooing and enticing mortals, and having children with mortal blood but a whisper of divine ichor. These children, or Scions, could be watched from the Overworld and given birthrights (loyal creatures, wise guides, devoted followers, or magical relics) that would empower them with supernatural abilities (boons) if they proved worthy, and then they could take the fight to the Titanspawn, and prevent more of the Titans from being unleashed. As their personal legends increased, they could perhaps one day join their parents as gods. If they fail, Ragnarok, the end of the World could be approaching sooner than you'd ever imagine. So take the first step on the long road to heaven, hero, and embrace your fate!

CALLING: (What is your occupation?)
PANTHEON:
GOD:
THEME: (What is the dominant theme of your life and powers thus far, in 1-3 words? You will be "god of (theme)" if you make it to godhood. Theme usually relates to your parent's theme, so the son of Thor might have a theme of "lightning" (particularly if he takes a lot of sky boons or lightning struck in all the major moments of his life), while the son of Aphrodite might become "God of Love and Loss," a scion of Horus could have a theme of Justice, one of Susano-wo could be "Goddess of the Ocean Depths", and a child of Baron Samedi who worked as a mortician and recently lost her mortal parents to zombies might have a theme of "Death".
IMAGE: What do you look like, wear, etc?
EPIC ATTRIBUTES: What human traits are you superhumanly good at? Each epic attribute allows you to surpass human limits, choosing when to manifest your full physical, social and mental power. Please note that you don't need to have an Epic Attribute if you are within the human range of the attribute in question, even if you are at the upper level... specifically, unless you want to be hideous enough to strike people blind anyone who looks at you when you wish, or so attractive that people can't do anything but stop and stare at you when you manifest your attribute, DO NOT TAKE EPIC APPEARANCE! There are six Epic Attributes: Strength, Dexterity, Stamina, Charisma, Manipulation, Appearance, Perception, Intelligence, and Wits.
KNACKS: What tricks (such as the aforementioned blinding or impossibly arresting appearance) can you perform with your Epic Attributes? Please note that you usually have to have the Epic Attribute in question to use a knack (so if you don't have epic strength, you can't use the Hurl to the Horizon knack)
SKILLS: What training do you have? Includes Academics, Animal Ken, Art (choose a medium), Athletics, Awareness, Brawl, Command, Control (for riding mounts, driving cars or motorcycles or boats, flying planes and helicopters, etc... choose a specialty), Craft (choose something you are good at making/repairing with your hands), Empathy, Fortitude, Integrity, Investigation, Larceny, Marksmanship, Medicine, Melee, Occult, Politics, Presence, Science (choose an area of study), Stealth, Survival, or Thrown.
WEAPONS/ARMOR: Not everyone has weapons or armor, but police officers, soldiers, and those with magical ancient or modern weapons or armor as birthrights do. That said, there are plenty of Scions who use their looks, their agility, their senses, their way with words, and their intelligence to get out of most situations without combat.
BIRTHRIGHTS: (Choose a mix of Guides, Followers, Creatures, and/or Relics. If you choose a Relic, you must include what features it has, including whether it is unusually fast or does (or protects from) greater damage than it should, has unlimited ammo or fuel, can be repaired by some quick ritual (such as a car with a car cover that, when covered, completely repairs itself), allows you to speak to your guide from a distance, allows you to summon your followers or creatures, offers some unique power (such as entering the Underworld, bringing someone back to life, inspiring an emotion in a person, etc) or grants access to specific Purviews... YOU NEED A RELIC WITH PURVIEWS TO USE MOST BOONS.)
BOONS: (YOU NEED A RELIC THAT GRANTS ACCESS TO PURVIEWS IN ORDER TO USE MOST BOONS. IF YOU LOSE OR LACK THE RELIC, YOU CANNOT USE THOSE POWERS UNTIL YOU GET IT BACK). What powers does the purview grant you?
VIRTUES: What four virtues are you expected to follow by your pantheon?

NAME:
LEGEND: What is your story?
