Valentine shook his head at Damon's taunting remarks. “My ideas of fun don't involving harming humans, something a thing without a soul probably can't really understand.” He said glancing back at Damon. His whole I'm a good vampire now act really grated on Val's nerves because it was just an act, he was soulless and a killer, treating him like anything else wouldn't do them any favors. A few seconds after he'd entered Grimm's place Xandra called Damon in and gave him his orders and a threat. Apparently they would be working with Damon again and Valentine was less than thrilled. Then he left and Val's mood improved a bit almost instantly. Then Lexi asked to talk to him alone, apparently she thought he was going to lecture her about working with Damon. He hadn't really planned on it, seeing as lecturing her never went well anyway and this was sort of her mission anyway he was just her to help make sure the world didn't end. Damon wasn't really a big threat to anyone who knew what they were doing, he'd put him on the same level as Rattlesnake, maybe a bit higher since Rattlesnake wasn't exactly the sharpest vampire around, but not as dangerous as Spike and Dru.
“Don't you mean then we go after Rainer.” Val said correcting his only real problem with her plan. Actually her plan was pretty genius, but if she was thinking about keeping him out of the big showdown then she was seriously mistaken. “Other than that I'd say it's a brilliant plan if it works. Getting Damon to set a trap for the demon, I highly doubt Rainer would ever see that coming and if Cinnamon got credit for killing Rainer that would easily buy her enough time to at least get properly trained.” He said nodding, demons and vampires loved to gossip and most preferred to stay away from slayers anyway; it made things easier for the bad guys if they stayed away from the slayer in the first place and only the truly crazy or powerful purposely went after slayers. Valentine grinned at her, for once things seemed to be going pretty well for there side. If the wizard was really on there side and Damon didn't double cross them, and granted those were pretty big ifs, but the small group they had going could probably handle three vampires and one demon. He was kind of glad to see the odds more in there favor for once, it was rare and he figured he'd enjoy it while it lasted. “You know your practically a genius right? Just another thing I love about you.” He said before rethinking his last statement. Since technically they were broken up maybe he wasn't supposed to say things like that. He hoped if he changed the subject quickly enough she wouldn't notice and things wouldn't get awkward.
“What about the Sun Gems?” He asked quickly changing the subject. “Personally I think giving one to Damon would be a huge mistake I mean keeping an eye on him at night is hard enough if any vampire got there hands on one of those I doubt you'd ever sleep again. I think we should look into a way to destroy them, and get ride of them the second we find them.”

Cici smiled and shook her head at his joke then gave him a litte smirk, "Oh I know, do you want me to strut infront of you?" She joked back with him as she kept up her pace heading towards Grimm's house. "So is one of the reasons why your so glad to see me is so you don't get lost or just because i'm that hot?" she teased him, nudging him a bit afterwards with a little giggle. She heard his answer and nodded, "Well that's good." she spoke as she noticed he was looking around, "Scared the boogie moster is going to attack you?" she teased, again then added, "I'm kidding, of course." she shrugged a little. Then she heard his answer towards his spider and nodded, "Well that sucks, i suppose." she reponded. Then she heard his questions and nodded, "I'm slepted fine. Still tired though, I wouldn't mind being able to sleep in." she answered with a small grin. She glanced around and notice they near Grimms house, "Looks like we're almost there." she commented.

Logan smiled seeing her open the door, "Hello there." he said before watching her look down at her watch, he crossed his arms over his chest listening to her tease, "Hey I can get up before the sun, sometimes." he said, with a little smile then glanced over when he saw that her mother caught the door.
Letting them talk and when she heard her say hey to him, he smiled, "Hey there." he replied and nodded, "Alright, will do." he said, as she closed the door.
Logan heard her say don't ask and raised an eyebrow, while walking down the stairs and catching up with her, "And why's that?" he asked, anyway, teasing her.

Xandra raised an eyebrow slightly when Val 'corrected' with changing the "I" to "we" and crossed her arms over her chest, but otherwise didn't react. Truthfully, she'd suspected he'd say something like if he noticed that little tidbit, so she wasn't surprised. Chewing on the inside of her cheek, Xandra considered arguing his going with her, using the excuse that she needed him to keep an eye on Cinnamon for her. But. . . even Xandra had to admit that she'd probably need help with the plan. Rainer was an ancient demon, as in thousands of years old. Hell Val looked like a kid compared to Rainer. Rainer had been around for a long time and that meant that he wouldn't be easy to kill, not to mention if he brought anyone along with him it would only make things that much more difficult. It wasn't impossible, though, it would just take some serious work. Besides, after ten years of knowing Valentine; Xandra knew that it would be pointless and she'd just waste her breath trying to tell Val not to go, because he'd just show up anyway. His being there in Montana was proof enough of that. She'd broke up with him, and snuck off during the day and yet he'd somehow still managed to end up there. Of course, she'd come to expect nothing less from him, she'd learned the first night that she met Val he was nothing if not persistent.
And damned if she'd admit it; but she actually admired that. Sometimes. When it wasn't annoying her.
When he said that she was practically a genius, she smiled. She'd been pretty proud of the plan, if she did say so herself. Of course before she had a chance to respond to that, he'd added that it was another thing he loved about her. That made her right eye twitch a little, but probably not for the reason Val might have thought if he noticed. No, it was because it was a sore subject with Xandra, and one that she nobody to blame but herself. She'd been the one to break things off with Val, after all. . . and she'd regretted that decision ever since she'd made it. But it was the best thing she could do for Val, or so she kept telling herself, anyway. But. . . what good was it doing, really? He was here, and didn't appear to be going anywhere, and the reason she'd broke things off was to give him a clean break. Yes, this was one of those times that she'd consider his being persistent to be annoying. Because the more time she spent around him, the more trouble she had not just blurting that she'd made a huge mistake. Her stubbornness had so far kept her from breaking, well that and what Josephine had told her, that was the main reason.
When Val quickly changed the subject, asking about the Sun Gems, Xandra gladly let him change the topic and went with it. No, she had enough to deal with without figuring out what to do about Val right now. In fact, Xandra even made a silent promise to herself; if this plan went as she hoped and they were able to get rid of Rainer, then she'd shallow her pride- not an easy task for Xandra- and have a little talk with Val.
Xandra snorted. "I was thinking the same thing. I barely get any sleep as it is, without Damon being able to run around in the daylight. I was thinking that, provided he doesn't double-cross us before then, that I'd give him a fake. Only to avoid having to argue with him if he does indeed hold up his end of the deal," she explained. If Damon didn't turn on them, he'd be expecting a gem and would get pissed if he got screwed over. But if Xandra gave him one that was a fake and claimed she thought it was real, then Damon would never know the truth.
"As for the gems," she continued, "I was already planning on destroying all but one of them. I don't know how, yet, but Grimm is probably researching ways to destroy them as we speak, and if anyone can figure it out, he can." Xandra gave Val a small smile. "I thought we'd save one for you. Even if you don't want to use it, having it would keep you from having to worry about cutting it too close to sunrise," she explained.
"No need for Grimm to go through the trouble, I already know how to destroy them," a female voice said as the door opened.
Frowning out of surprise, Xandra looked up quickly, her hand instantly going to the dagger she kept in her belt, but then let her hand fall loosely to her side when she saw who it was. "Josephina? What are you doing here?" she asked.
Josephina chuckled. "You didn't expect me to sit this one out, did you? Things are just about to get interesting," she said. Josephina walked over and sat her duffel bag down on Grimm's desk and pulled Xandra into a hug- a brave move that only a select few people could get away with- and pulled back smiling. "Long time no see. Well in person, that is. I've seen you plenty of times in visions," Josephina said.
Josephina turned away from Xandra, ignoring the look Xandra gave her and smiled friendly at Val. "And you are Valentine. I'd recognize you anywhere. I've certainly seen you enough," Josephina said with a chuckle. She'd never met Valentine in person, but her premonitions had involved him enough to know exactly who he was. "Nice to finally meet you," she said, "I'm Josephina Ravenheart, but call me Jo. I'm an old friend of Xandra's." Josephina tilted her head a little. "And before you ask; 1) I'm a witch, 2) what I mean by that I've seen you enough, even though we've never met, is that I have premonitions and you've been in quite a few of them, and 3) I'm one of the good guys, so no need to worry," she said, guessing that would be the first questions Val might have about her. "Does that answer everything?" she asked, raising an eyebrow slightly.

Name: Josephina Morgana RavenhearstAge: Appears 25Species: WitchPower: A little of this and a little of that. . . as a witch Josephina has a variety of powers at her fingertips. But she's mostly known for her power of premonitions.Personality: Friendly and relaxed, Josephina doesn't let much bother her. She's very loyal and always willing to help out, but she's very stubborn and Independent, and can match sarcastic remarks with the best of them. She isn't much of a fighter, but don't mistake this for her being a coward and sitting out on fights. No, Josephina is far from that, and will help, but in her own, unique ways.Appearance: History: You'll just have to wait to find out. . .Extra: Even though Josephina has premonitions of the future, she usually refuses to reveal too much about what will happen. She claims it's because the future is not set in stone, and one person changing their mind about something could affect the entire outcome of it. But the main reason she refuses to reveal too much is because she knows that people need to figure things out for themselves, and some people wouldn't be able to handle what she saw in store for them.

Drusilla pursed her lips as she considered Spike's offer of going and getting something for breakfast while he caught up with Rattlesnake. The offer was tempting. . . Dru hated Rattlesnake, and the idea of purposely tracking him down and speaking with him was so far down on her list of things she wanted to; she'd rather stick her hand out in the sun first. But. . . Dru also knew Rattlesnake, and he'd probably get a thrill out of her avoiding him. Back when he'd had ahold of her when she was human, he'd gotten a kick out of trying to frighten her, now that she was a vampire she was equal ground with him and could handle herself, but Rattlesnake would probably get the same thrill if he thought she was purposely staying away from him.
Clearing her thoughts, Dru shook her head at Spike. "Rattlesnake may not be the smartest person around, but he'll notice my absence when you find him. And he'll get a thrill out of it if he thinks I'm purposely avoiding him; he'll think it means that I'm afraid of him and he would just love that. And I do not intend to give Rattlesnake any sort of amusement." Dru said, but then smiled. Well, Dru's version of a smile, which was more of a smirk. "But thanks for the offer, Spike," she added, kissing his cheek before she walked away and picked up Malaki. The cat gave an annoyed meow but didn't struggle when she picked him up from his spot on the chair he'd claimed last night.
When Spike asked about Magnus' cat, Dru chuckled. "Well, it's not exactly a cat per say, at least not one like you're probably thinking along the lines of. He has a jaguar," she answered. "He named her Priscilla, or Priss as he called her. I don't know how or why, but Priss is immortal, Magnus has had her for centuries." She shrugged. "Priss is actually quite friendly. . . if she likes you," she added. "Apparently she didn't like Rainer's minion," she giggled.
Shifting Malaki, Dru grabbed a jacket off the back of a chair and walked over to the door. "After we. . . have a little talk with Rattlesnake, we can find something to eat," she said, already walking outside. "Knowing Rattlesnake, my best bet is that he's already out looking for a snack. . . either that or trying to track down the girl. Or both, but I'm not sure he has the brain power to multitask," she mused. "He may have even gotten distracted by sparklies," she added, sarcasm lacing her voice.

Jinx rolled her eyes at Logan's question. "Because you wouldn't like the answer about what the potion is," she said, shrugging her shoulders. Actually that was probably putting it lightly, he might even take it as an insult, even though that hadn't been how her parents had meant it. Then again, maybe he'd understand, but Jinx didn't want to start off the night by explaining it.
"I wonder if Cici is bringing the new boy with her," she said, trying to change the subject. "He seemed nice enough, but I think we should keep an eye on him, just to be safe," she said, glancing over at Logan. "With everything that's been going on lately, can't be too safe, right?" she said. Jinx turned her head back to watch where she was going, and picked her pace up a bit, wanting to catch up with Cici and the others before they left for the graveyard. Jinx hated being left behind. Plus, she had an odd feeling about tonight. She couldn't quite put her finger on it. . . but something felt off.
Mentally shaking herself, Jinx looked up the street. "There's Cici and Ryder now," Jinx commented, nodding her head up the street, where Cici and Ryder were nearly to Grimm's. Jinx chewed on her bottom lip for a moment, then looked back to Logan. "Am I just being paranoid, or do you notice something different?" she asked, lowering her voice. "You know how it feels before a bad storm hits? That sort of odd vibe in the air? I'm getting that sort of vibe right now," she explained.

Logan noticed that Jinx rolled her eyes and just gave a slight shrug of his shoulders, this chick was something else. He slightly raised his eyebrow listening to her answer towards his question, "Ah is it suppose to kill of all werewolves or something? or does this potion turn someone blue?" he teased her, not really expecting much of an answer, more like an hit on his arm or something like that. Then he just smiled, "I'm kidding, I guess if things come down to it, i'll figure out what it does anyway."
He heard her question and shrugged his shoulders, "She might or they may just run into each other. I highly doubt someone that just arrived her would remember how to get to Grimm's but that's just my imput on the whole situation. He continued to listen to Jinx talking about the wizard guy, and nod a little bit, "So far, he seems good but I do think we should keep an eye on him since Cici seems like she's very important object over good and evil." he said, with a little shrug of his shoulders. Hearing her question, he did a small nod, "Right." was all he replied as since there really wasn't much to reply with that question...well rhetorical question. He noticed that Jinx picked up her pace a bit so he took that as a hint that she didn't want what happened last night make a repeat of the situation.
Logan looked towards the direction Jinx was looking when he heard her saying that Cici and Ryder was walking, "I suppose, that means what you guess was right." he teased her a little bit. Hearing her question, he tilted his head back and took a step back, mentally and took in the atmosphere. "Yeah, you're not being paranoid, just overly aware with your surroundings." he stated, then added, "Cause I can feel it, too."

Jinx looked over, raising an eyebrow slightly when Logan asked if the potion her mother had gave her was suppose to kill werewolves. She thought about lying, or making a joke out of it, but then decided not to. Even though Logan was kidding, then added that he'd figure it out anyway. "Actually, for your information, the only way you would have found out what it does," she began, "is if you shifted into a werewolf on me. My mother likes you, but my father doesn't trust you. Especially not with werewolf sightings on a half-moon. So he wanted me to keep this with me so that if you shifted suddenly, I could hit you with it and it would turn you back to human,' she explained, then shrugged. She hadn't been planning on telling Logan because she didn't want to hurt his feeling, but then decided that at least if she told him he wouldn't have to find out the hard way and maybe end up thinking that she didn't trust him.
Jinx then shrugged her shoulders. "Newbies usually don't remember their way around town. But then again. . . there's something about Ryder that doesn't strike me as your average newbie in town," she said, thinking out loud. Then she shrugged. It really wasn't her business anyway. She did nod her head though when he said that while so far the Wizard seemed good they should still keep an eye on him. "That's what I was thinking. With everything going on right now, and Cici being who she is, I want to keep a close eye on her. Especially because she tends to not take things as seriously as she should," she added. She loved her friend, but even Jinx sometimes got annoyed by Cici's flippant attitude about certain things.
Jinx let out a light chuckle when Logan said her guess was right after seeing Cici and Ryder together. "Of course it was. You really should just start taking my word for things on a regular basis, it would make your life much easier," she joked.
She raised an eyebrow slightly when he said that he noticed it too. "I thought so," she mumbled, losing her smile. "I was actually hoping I was just being paranoid. I hate that feeling. . . of knowing something bad is going to happen; but not what or where. Or when. So that there's nothing I can do about it. It makes me feel like a sitting duck," she mumbled.
