Ryder followed her lead and quickly scaled the fence and ran after her. He was sort of wondering how to tell her what was going on. “So I guess you sort of figured out that I don't really do magic tricks, I'm a wizard so my magic's for real.” He said wondering how she was going to take all this. “And those bad guys in the cemetery were vampire, the whole evil, undead, drink you blood, Dracula sort of thing.” He added, hoping she didn't think he sounded crazy. “I'm sorry I should have never suggested we go to a cemetery, I mean I've been hunting vampires for awhile now and I guess I figured if we ran into trouble I could handle it. I'm sorry for getting you into a dangerous situation like that. Oh god your not hurt are you? I haven't even asked.” He said wanting to smack himself, but that would probably just make him look even crazier, as if that was possible.
Valentine gave her the raised eyebrow look when she stood in front of him, checking him for injuries. He didn't worry to much about those, if they didn't turn him to dust after a few seconds then he wasn't in any danger. She mentioned his fangs and he was slightly embarrassed as he changed his face back to normal. Usually he didn't have to think about it, when a battle was over, almost like a reaction, his face would change back to normal. This time was different, there was blood in the air, slayer blood, and he could still smell it. She had injuries as well, but he didn't say anything, she obviously knew she was injured and pointing it out wouldn't have lead anywhere good. He tried to think about anything but blood, which wasn't easy it had been about two days since he'd drank anything, which was partially why he'd been a bit off during the fight. His throat was buring from the craving and he looked away from her and followed. He hated, more than anything, that there was something inside him, no matter how weak it was, that thought of Xandra as food.
“I'm fine, I promise not turn to ash and get you all dusty.” He teased, though his tone was still a bit melancholy. Then she reached over and grabbed his hand, threatened to break his hand if he made any comments on it and that took his mind off things a bit. It was almost like old times and he glanced over at he and gave half a smile, almost said something, but decided against it. Her motel wasn't too far away, and she was nice enough to remember to give an invite. She tossed him a towel and a water bottle and he starred at the water suspiciously. “This is regular water right? Not blessed by a priest kind? Because I really don't need a mix up like that, again.” He said as he carefully opened the water bottle and poked the water with his pinky finger. When he was satisfied that water was not acidic to vampires he poured some on the towel and cleaned the wound up. It would be completely healed in an hour or two, but for now he was content with not bleeding all over the place.
He looked back up when she reentered the room and started talking. She mentioned the Wizard which reminded him, something about that kid seemed off, but he didn't want to say anything until he figured out why, he just had this eerie feeling when he caught that guy's glance. Val shook his head. “If she gets the deer and headlights look every time she runs into a vampire, she won't last much longer. I'd say be hard on her, she's going to need to learn fast if she want's to stay alive.” Valentine said, offering his own opinion. “Though maybe keep the bone-breaking threats to a minimum for the kid, at least until she gets used to you.” He suggested as he threw the bloody towel in the trash can. She asked if he had a place to stay for the day and offered to let him crash here. He thought about it for half a second but shook his head.“I've got a place, I know a demon who used to live in town, headed out of here past once all the trouble got here, I can crash at his place.” He said, the apartment was right near a butcher shop too, so he could pick up some blood before he crashed. “So now off to Grimm's?” He asked.

Spike growled at the mention of the slayer. “We'll make the slayer pay for that, I'll rip out her eyes and shove them straight down her throat and make sure she chokes on them.” He said looked over at Dru, she definitely needed a bite. He stopped walking when she did, it took him a second to figure out why she stopped, then he realized she must be getting a vision. He took a second to think, Rainer hadn't mention they'd be dealing with Xandra and Valentine, them plus having to deal with Rattlesnake was more annoying than he could almost stand. What they need was to find away to manipulate a fight between Xandra and Rattlesnake, wait till one of them kills the other, then him and Dru could take care of whoever won that fight. After that the two of them could handle Val, and that would leave the young slayer without any body guards, she'd be all scared and helpless and the thought made him hungry.
Dru's vision had ended and she said she'd tell him about it late, and Spike nodded in response. He felt better about the day now that he almost had a plan and now that they were a little closer to finally having someone to eat. “Screw it let's find a motel. Maybe we might even run into a few guest stumbling in late or looking for the ice machine.” Spike said. “Plus it might have a tv or a mini bar” He added.

Cinnanmon was still leading him towards Grimm's house, when she heard his comment from earlier, "I noticed that you was a wizard, I kinda had a feeling after I didn't notice that much truth to the whole magic tricks deal." she shurgged. And she heard his vampire comment, she let out a sigh, she really could have handled that better, "I know they was vampires. Maybe even like the elite type." she let out. She shook her head, "no, it's fine. That's probably where Grimm and Xandra would have taken me in the first place." she said. "No dear, I'm perfectly fine. I'm just gonna get fussed at for freezing like that." she said, pulling out the stake from her boot, "I'm suppose to be a vampire slayer." she went ahead and admit since she knew that he was a wizard, she put her stake back in her boot. And stayed quiet until she lead him inside Grimm's house and sat down, she layed her head back, "Why would they want me?" she asked, to no one in particular. Then added, "The chick said I made it easy for her and some other stuff." she couldn't quiet remember cause she locked up.

Ryder shrugged. “Other than blood I have no clue what the vampire's would want from you.” He said as they got to, who he assumed was Grimm's house, and headed inside. “So was that the first time you'd seen a vamp, cause trust most people don't know how to react first time like that.” He said sitting down on the couch next her. “And I bet if we run into the other two that helped us out back there they might know more about what's going on.” He added thinking the whole fight over a bit. “So what do you mean supposed to to be a vampire slayer, if you don't want to hunt vamps, can't you just pick something else to do?” He asked, he'd never actually heard of a vampire slayer before.

Xandra rolled her eyes at Valentine when he asked if it was regular water and not holy water. "One time I accidentally give you the wrong one and you're never going to let me live it down, are you?" she grumbled. It had been two or three years ago and it was an accident, it wasn't like she's purposely gave him the wrong one.
For once, Xandra didn't say anything when Val gave his opinion on what she should do about Cinnamon. She'd been wavering on how to handle the girl. Doubting her decision, which had been why she wanted to talk to Val before she met up with Cinnamon and wizard boy at Grimm's. She'd wanted to talk to Val about it for a moment, he confirmed her original plan, though. She had to be hard on Cinnamon, it was the only way to get Cinnamon's attention. If Cinnamon wouldn't willingly train. . . then Xandra would bait her. Get the girl so angry at Xandra she'd want to fight her. Once they started fighting, Xandra would taunt Cinnamon, but her taunting would be to make Cinnamon a better fighter; point out what she was doing wrong.
She looked up at him though when he added that maybe she should keep the bone breaking threats to a minimum until Cinnamon got use to her. "Well, that will depend on how much the kid annoys me," she grumbled. But, she might try to keep it to only a few here and there for the time being.
Xandra shrugged when Val said that he had a place. "Suit yourself," she said, pushing away from the dresser she'd been leaning against. Silently, she was actually disappointed for some reason, but she'd have sooner clawed her own eyes out with a fork then admit that to anyone. "Yeah. Time to go chew out the new girl." Xandra opened the door and headed out. She didn't say anything for the walk to Grimm's, mostly because she was planning out in her head what she was going to say when she got there. By the time Xandra reached Grimm's, her lecture was already planned out in her had. She paused at the door, taking a deep breath. "Alright, time to be a bitch," she grumbled under her breath.
Hearing the front door open, Grimm laid the book he'd been reading down on his desk and walked in to find Cinnamon. . . and a boy. Huh, he'd expected her to be with Xandra and Valentine. He walked in in time to hear Ryder's question and cringed. Cinnamon wasn't suppose to be going around telling she was a Slayer. Grimm had gave her that lecture before.
"No, I"m afraid she can't," Grimm answered, even though he knew the question had been directed at Cici. "Slayers are a select race. Only a dozen is born every generation, and they're spread throughout the world. Each Slayer is assigned a watcher to train them and teach them how to do what they do. Slayers are stronger then the average human, heal faster and have a 'slayer package' as they call it. They're sort of right in the middle between a regular human and a vampire. They don't choose it, but they can't deny it. If they go untrained-" Grimm sighed "-vampires, demons and other creatures will hunt them down and kill them," Grimm explained. "I'm Grimm Night, by the way. Cici's watcher. And you are?" Grimm asked.
No sooner then the question was out of Grimm's mouth, the door flew open and Xandra came storming in. "I see the kid made here alive," Xandra started. "We found her and wizard boy at the graveyard. Being attacked by Spike and Drusilla," Xandra explained.
Grimm frowned. "Wizard boy?" he repeated. "And Spike and Drusilla were there. . .did you. . .?"
Xandra snorted. "No. Val and I fought them but they took off. Wizard boy there hit Spike with a fire ball. Spike's probably plotting his slow and painful death as we speak because he ruined his precious duster," she said.
Grimm sighed, then cleared his throat. "Um, Cinnamon, this is Xandralexia Kincaid and Valentine. Xandra's a Slayer and a friend of mine. I called her in to train you. And Valentine is. . . a friend of hers. He's a vampire, but he's good. He still has a soul and he's on our side, so you're not to stake him," Grimm warned.
Xandra walked past Grimm and stopped in front of Cinnamon, crossing her arms over her chest. "You're a pathetic excuse for being a Slayer, you know that? Freezing up like that and letting your little boyfriend here have to try to save your ass?" Xandra shook her head. "That's so pathetic and you're going to give us all a bad name. Slayers are always female, and always able to take care of themselves and those around them. They don't freeze up and depend on someone else. Slayers are the ones that kick ass and protect everyone else." Xandra narrowed her eyes farther.
"Grimm said that you haven't been bothering to train, and that was painfully clear by the way you looked like a deer caught in headlights back there. You do realize that you're going to get yourself killed not taking this seriously, don't you? And not just yourself but you'll going to get those around you killed as well. Your little boyfriend here? Had Val and I not been there he'd be dead right now. Spike and Drusilla would have killed him, slowly and made you watch. That's how they work. That witch friend of yours? And the werewolf? They'll both be killed as well, for being associated with you. Any other family and friends you have? They'll all be hunted down and killed if you aren't properly trained and able to protect them."
Xandra knew she was being extremely cold and harsh, and sounded like a total bitch, but she knew that was what she had to do. She had to be like that to get Cinnamon's attention. Maybe get her angry enough to be willing to fight Xandra. Which Xandra was hoping to bait her into so she could start training her. She was there to train Cici, not be her friend. And she was running out of time with everyone chasing after Cici and Xandra had her own problems to deal with.
"You are being a total childish, spoiled little brat. And what? You're too delicate to kill a vampire? I bet you couldn't even handle a newborn." Xandra scoffed. "You'd cry over a broken nail and want your little boyfriend to save your ass. You're a total disgrace."
"Xandra," Grimm said exasperated. "What are you. . .?"
Xandra rolled her eyes and shot Grimm an annoyed look. "Oh shut up, Grimm. You've been babying her and look where you've gotten? I feel sorry for you, Grimm, being stuck as a watcher to little Ms. Princess over here," she said, looking away from Grimm and back to Cinnamon. Xandra had always been good at pushing people's buttons, and it looked like it would finally come in handy with the new girl.

"Motel it is, then," Dru agreed.
With that Dru turned and started walking down the street again. Most of the businesses they passed were already closed. Not a surprise in a dinky little town like this one. But a couple of blocks away a motel came into view. A flashing neon sign in the front window declared it was the 'The Night Myst Motel' but the "I", "H" and both "Ms" were burnt out.
"Lovely place," Dru murmured sarcastically, walking through the parking lot. But considering the places they'd stayed in the past, this was one of the nicer ones, actually. "Hmmm. . . where to. . ." Dru trailed off, scanning the line of closed doors. "Go," she finished, smiling.
"Well, look there, Spike," she said, nodding her head towards one of the end rooms. "I think we just found dinner. And a free room," she said. In front of one of the rooms towards the end was a couple. They both looked more then a little tipsy, the woman was leaning against the wall, an annoyed but glassy look on her face as she waited on the man to unlock the door. The man wasn't having any luck though and was fumbling with the keys.
Dru smiled. "Two for one special. No sharing. I think the night just got better."

Cinnanmon heard him, "Damn, I wonder if Grimm knows." she bit her lip. When they was inside, she noticed that he sat next to her and heard him, "They're most likely coming here after the girl cleans up." rolling her eyes. She heard his question, "Oh it's not like.." she got cut off by Grimm answering for her. She held back a sigh, so yeah she couldn't run away from it much longer or people was going to die. She looked up when the door flew open, she had grabbed a book to look over and ignore what speech that was soon to come. She was barely paying attention to the first sentences and was off in Cici land where only she matter in the normal land.
She heard her name from grim, so she looked up from her book, "I figured it was Xandra. And awh, I seriously think their actually fuck buddies." she shurgged.
She looked down back at her book when she heard Xandra talking to her, when she cut her eyes at Xandra she pretty much looked impassive and showing no emotions. "He's not my boyfriend. I just met him. I'm not like you and go fuck a fucking vampire." she snapped back.
"As are you or a sorry excuse for a teacher." she snapped, "And i'm pretty fucking sure you frozed up just like I did when you saw a vampire for the first time."
"I'm pretty sure, you and val are just the rulers of the fucking world. All hail Xandralexia Kincaid for a pain in everyones ass." she said, then throwing the book at her nailing Xandra in the head.
Cici wasn't in her nice usual sweet talker self, she turned into a complete cold person. She raised her eyebrow, "Awh, I thought I was being completely responsible." she said, sarcastically.
Cici rolled her eyes at the word princess, "Well i'm sorry, Queen Bitch." she said, throwing another book at Xandra hitting her in the head.

Ryder stayed quiet, this slayer thing was clearly not his business and he didn't really want to get in the middle of there fight. He made sure to remember the names of the rest of the group, he had a feeling they might just be seeing a lot of each other. He even managed to not correct the other slayer, Xandra, when she said something about the vampires killing him slowly. Even if the vampires had technically won the fight, drained him dry as a raisin he'd still heal, it might take a week or so but as long as Doc was fine and dandy back at the motel he'd be fine to. If he'd said anything they'd question him and the fewer people that new what he'd done to himself the better. He was already starting to miss his pet spider, he always did when he was away from it, Doc was pretty much a part of him. He glanced over at the Englishman, Grimm, and thought of a way out of the awkward situation of witnessing a slayer to slayer argument. “So Grimm you got any tea? I would love a cup of tea, if you don't mind of course.” He said carefully waking his way away from the slayers. He didn't know too much about the English but most of them liked tea and from the look of the Watcher, and the massive amount of books scattered about the place, he was guessing the guy was tea drinker. “The tea is probably in the kitchen right?” He asked as he headed in that direction.
Valentine stayed quiet on the walk to Grimm's, Lexi was obviously thinking and he'd rather not interrupt. When they got to Grimm's house Xandra stormed right in and immediately started in on the slayer, not thinking about it he went to follow her and walked right into the empty doorway, vampires needed to be invited in, and every home had an invisible force field type protection that no vampire, unless invited to, could cross. So he waited just outside the Watchers house since he didn't really have a choice. Grimm's shop was different, he didn't need an invite for business but Grimm's home was a whole other story. He waited for Lexi to finish ripping Cinnamon apart, and was about to say something but he stopped. He caught a look from Wizard boy and sure it took him a second but he finally figured out why the guy seemed off to him. He reached into his pocket and fished around his pockets for a piece of paper and something to write with, and found a sharpie and a five dollar bill. He scribbled down a short note, shoved the sharpie back in the pocket of his jeans and looked up just in time to hear Cinnamon say something about fucking a fucking vampire, and then throw a book. He shook his head, hadn't they just risked there lives to save her and her friends? This was how she was going to respond, no thanks for your help? He seriously missed the good old days when people were at least civil, or had enough sense to act that way in to your face. So the fate of the entire world was in the hands of a teenager prone to temper tantrums and throwing books? This was not going to go well, Grimm sure had his work cut out for him this time. Cinnamon now seemed finished with her temper tantrum so he looked over at Grimm.
“So are you going to invite me in or what? Cause it's chilly out here, alone, in the cold...” Val said, smirking at Grimm, still standing in front of the door way. The whole needing an invite thing was a pain sometimes, but at least it kept evil vampires out of good peoples homes. He was used to people forgetting the invite thing every once in a while. Then again maybe he should have just headed someplace, anyplace else because it seemed like there might be a slayer vs. slayer fight soon. He then remembered the five dollar bill in his hand. He glanced at Xandra. “Hey Lexi here's the gas money I owe you, you know for the ride into town.” He said as he balled up the money in his hand and tossed the cash her way, the cash with his note on it that said; Wizard boy has no soul. Obviously she hadn't given him a ride into town, he didn't think she had a car either, so he assumed she'd know something was up. Well unless she'd gotten some sort of concussion from Cici's book throwing.

Spike looked over the motel, as long as there were no rats in this one, it would be an improvement over many of the places they'd stayed at. He glanced over at the couple, stumbling about half asleep, there blood would have slight edge to it, depending on how much they'd drank he might even get a buzz of them. He wasn't even the mood for playing games with the humans, he just wanted to bite and sleep. His burnt arm ached something fierce and his throat was burning with hungry, this was a lucky night for the humans, whoever ended up as his snack would die quick. Even worse his prized coat was charred and mangled and he'd had yet another run in with Xandra and Val without a kill. He hated not winning a fight, technically they didn't really lose, but a draw was just as bad.
“You found them so it's only fair you get first bite.” He said slightly detached, as he kept his eyes fixed on their prey. He always made sure Dru ate first, not just because she was his love but because she was his sire, and it was a sign of respect. She was his Dark Goddess, his Unholy Savior, and they only thing he loved more than himself, and he belonged to her completely.

Xandra caught the second book Cinnamon threw at her before it made contact. She could yell at Cici, go back at her, but Xandra decided to take a slightly different approach. Cinnamon had thrown books at her. . .well that was a start. That meant Xandra's plan was working somewhat. She just had to find the right buttons to push to push the girl into fighting her. "Queen Bitch?" she repeated, "why thank you. That's the best compliment anyone has ever gave me," she said in a fake friendly voice. Then rolled her eyes. Please, Xandra had been called much worse in her life.
"My, my, aren't you a crude little girl," Xandra said in her coldest, most condescending voice. "Better be careful or your mommy will wash your mouth with soap if she hears you talking like that," Xandra said. Xandra had been considering throwing the book back at Cinnamon, but apparently Grimm noticed that look because he suddenly reached over and grabbed the book out of her hand.
"If you two are going to try to kill each other," he said, picking up the other book, "please take it outside and don't damage my books. Some of them are very old and irreplaceable," Grimm said, sighing, moving the books safely out of reach.
Xandra crossed her arms over her chest and looked back to Cinnamon. "First of all, sweetie," Xandra began, "whatever my relationship with Valentine is, it's none of your business. But you should keep in mind that not everyone is a little whore. Second, I couldn't give a fuck less what you think of me. I'm not here to be your friend, I'm here as a favor to Grimm to train you. Thirdly, that's one thing we apparently agree on; I'm a horrible teacher because I'm not a teacher," she said the words slowly and sarcastically. "I'm a Slayer. A rouge Slayer at that. I don't play well with others," she said dryly. "And when, exactly, did I ever let on that Val and I were anything close to being 'rulers of the world'-" she made air quotes and rolled her eyes, "-we saved your ass, you do owe us a thank you for that. But I never said that I was perfect, I'm far from it."
"As for when I first saw a vampire? You're right. I did freeze up, but I was also only 12 years old. And I hadn't had a Watcher to explain it to me beforehand. Grimm found you and told you you were a Slayer before you ever saw a vampire. Me, on the other hand, I found out that vampires were real and I was a Slayer one night when a vampire suddenly attacked me and my family. So you, my dear, spoiled little girl, need to suck it up and stop playing poor, poor pitiful little you." Xandra leaned over, putting her hands on either side of Cinnamon so that she was only a few inches away from her and lowered her voice. "You have absolutely no idea how bad your situation could be right now. You think it's bad, and I'm sure you'll try to disagree with me, but nothing you've seen so far is compared to what you'll see the longer you've been in this life," Xandra said in a deadly serious voice, "you think you feel overwhelmed now, just wait until you see your entire world crumble around you," she added, then stood up, putting distance between herself and Cinnamon agian.
"That is, assuming that you live to see it. At this rate, you won't live to see the next full moon," Xandra added. "You're weak. A weak little girl that can't defend herself. What do you plan to do the next time you see a vampire, hmm? When Wizard Boy isn't around to save you? Do you plan on throwing a book at the vampire? Because that might work. . . they might die laughing at you," Xandra quipped.
Grimm had put a safe distance between himself and Xandra and Cinnamon, he knew Xandra well enough to know that a fight was a very real possibility and the last time he'd been standing too close when she started fighting he'd nearly gotten a stake in the shoulder. Not really something Grimm wanted to happen so he tried to stay away. He blinked, looking over at Ryder when he heard him speaking to him. "What? Oh. Yes, of course, help yourself," Grimm said, motioning his hand towards the direction of the kitchen. As Ryder disappeared towards the kitchen, he heard Val ask if he was going to invite him in. "Oh, of course, terribly sorry, Valentine. Please come in," he said, "I was a bit. . .well, distracted to remember your situation," Grimm said, looking over towards Cinnamon and Xandra. "You may want to make sure that you want to come in, though," he said with a light chuckle. If Xandra and Cinnamon did start fighting it could get a bit dangerous around them.
Hearing her name, Xandra looked away from Cici to Val, frowning at him. What the hell was he talking about? She didn't even own a damn car to have. . . Xandra's thoughts trailed off as she caught the money he tossed her and unfolded it. Ah, so that was what it was about, the money had a note scribbled on it. Xandra kept her face completely and carefully blank as she read the note. Then reread it to make sure she'd read it right the first time. So. . . wizard boy was soulless. That was interesting. And quite possibly would pose a major problem. Xandra didn't know much about wizards, that wasn't her specialty, but she knew that when vampires were soulless it usually lead her staking them. Could you stake a wizard? That was one of the few species that Xandra hadn't staked but she supposed she could if wizard boy turned out to be evil.
That also led to the question of how in the hell Valentine had figured that out. He'd only been around the boy as much as she had and she hadn't noticed anything odd about him. She'd ask Val what made him think that later, out of curiosity, but she believed him on it. Val knew better then to make an assumption like that without knowing for sure because if he jumped the gun and was wrong and it caused Xandra problems, she'd kick his ass for it. Plus, even though Xandra wasn't one to admit it, she trusted him. There was only two people she trusted, Val was one and Grimm was the other. Xandra cleared her throat and shoved the five dollar bill into her pocket. "About time you paid me back for that, I thought you were going to stiff me," Xandra said. Then she looked back to Grimm. "Why don't you go show Wizard Boy where you keep your tea so he doesn't mess up your tidy little kitchen looking for it?"
Grimm frowned at Xandra. It took a second but he finally caught on that Xandra was trying to tell him to keep an eye on Ryder. Why, he didn't have a clue, but he shrugged his shoulders. "I suppose I should," he said, then headed into the kitchen. "The ingredients are all in the cabinet over the stove," Grimm said, following Ryder into the kitchen, "I don't have any premade," he explained. Grimm cleared his throat and put his hands in his pockets. "If you don't mind my asking," Grimm began, "what are you doing in town? I've been here for awhile, and I don't remember ever seeing you here before," he asked. If Xandra had asked Grimm to keep an eye on Ryder, then there must have been a reason, so Grimm decided that he should probably try to find out what he could on him.

Cinnamon noticed she caught the second book, she heard her and just shrugged, she basically was pretty close to walking out in the big with. "Of course, only the best for the worst." she shrugged. Then she heard what else she said, if this chick was here to scare her...it wasn't working. "I basically won't see my mom so she won't hear me. No worries, about that." she shrugged. She heard what Grimm said and shrugged her shoulders, about his thing..okay, no more throwing books. She just listened to Xandra and trying really hard not to roll her eyes, "So why do they want to kill me? They said something about me. What is it?" she asked, who was she? "I'll say that when you're nicer. I'm sure somewhere your mother taught you manners." she commented back. She also heard the one word that she was so use to being called, which made her fasical expression become emotionless. She also saw the little exchanged, "You own a car? where is it?" she questioned, she seriously had major doubt that this bitch had a car and kept up with it. She didn't seem like the type to keep that type of commitment. She just stood there quietly and thinking, when she smirked, "I know what your doing. I'm not going to fight you. Cleaver, though. Can we act like civil people and practise in the gym? Isn't that how normal slayers practise and not messing up someones house..? I don't think Grimm would like it if he's presious books got destroyed." and with that, she went through the door and found the gym. She tied her shoes and waited for them to come through the doors, might as well...attempt to learn..it's either this or dying... her thoughts tried, she had mental images of watching those she cared about getting killed because she couldn't defend them.

Dru frowned and looked away from the couple at Spike. He sounded odd, a bit off. Detached, maybe? After a second, Dru decided that it was probably because of everything; his hurt arm, being hungry, and his scorched coat. Not to mention the fact that they hadn't succeeded in taking the girl to Rainer, had ran into Xandra and Val AND there was the issue of Rattlesnake. Huh, thinking about it, Dru realized that it had been quite a night, hadn't it? And a depressing one, really. "Cheer up, Spike. At least we found dinner. . . and I think tomorrow night will be much better," Dru said, "I'll take the girl," she added. With the she turned and walked over to the couple.
The man had his back to her, and the girl glanced up at her. "What?" the girl asked, the word just slightly slurred.
Dru smiled. "I was just wondering what that lovely perfume was you're wearing," Dru said.
The girl frowned at her. "You weren't even close to have been able to notice," the girl said, then shrugged, "it's one of Britney Spears'," the girl added.
Dru smiled. "No, I don't think that's it. . . I think it's maybe A Negative," Dru said. Ever since she'd became a vampire, she'd been able to tell someone's blood type from several feet away. Before the girl could say anything, Dru's face shifted and she grabbed the girl, sinking her fangs into her neck before she could even scream.
After Dru had drained the girl dry, she pulled her into the ally behind the motel and hauled the girl up into the dumpster there. "They probably won't find them for a few days and we'll be long gone by then," Dru said, shrugging. Even though Dru did love killing, she didn't like to leave evidence just laying around to be found by curious human. A few humans finding out about vampires were easy enough to handle and kill, but a large group of them? Well, Dru had accidentally stumbled into that mess quite a few years ago and didn't plan on repeating the incident anytime soon. She glanced down at her side, the wound from the slayer had completely healed over with her dinner.
She went back to the door the couple had been trying to unlock and retrieved the keys from the ground where they'd fell and unlocked the door. Pushing it open, Dru flipped the light on and scanned the room. "Not too bad," she observed. "There don't appear to be any rat droppings, or cockroaches in this one," she said. The last place they'd stayed in had had a few cockroaches scurrying around, after one had gotten in Dru's hair she'd insisted that they leave, she couldn't stand those disgusting little things.
Dru glanced down at Malaki, who had walked into the room with her. He stood there for a second, then walked over and jumped up into the chair in the corner, apparently claiming that as his spot for the night.
Dru turned from looking at the room back to Spike and reached over and took the coat from him to look at the damage done to it. "You know," Dru began, "I think I may know someone that can fix that for you. Magnus, he's an old warlock," she explained. Dru had never really been fond of the cranky old warlock, but she had dealt with him on occasion when she'd needed something from him. "Up to you. But I know how much you love that the duster," she added.
With that Dru turned and walked over to the window, pulling the curtains closed over it. They were thick curtains which would keep the daylight out. She doubled checked the curtains to make sure that the window was completely covered. "Now, I have some good news that I think you'll like," she said, turning away from the window and sitting down on the armrest of the old, avocado colored chair sitting in the corner that Malaki had claimed.
"It's that vision that I had a few moments ago. It was of a fight. A very large fight that had a few people in it that I couldn't make out their faces, but most importantly I saw the young slayer, the wizard, Valentine, Xandra, Grimm, the witch and werewolf from the graveyard all there," Dru explained, "most of the fight was blurry, but I did see the outcome. We get the new girl, and get to take her to Rainer and get the sun gems. And secondly, Xandra doesn't survive the fight. Looks like things are finally looking up," she said.
Of course, the future wasn't set in stone. Dru's visions had been changed before when an event suddenly changed course, but most of the time her visions came true.

Xandra rolled her eyes at Cinnamon. "I did own a car, past tense. It's currently sitting at the bottom of a lake," she answered, shrugging. That was the truth, she had owned a car a long time ago, one she'd bought at a junk yard and fixed up herself, then it had sadly gotten lost to a lake in an unfortunate demon incident a few years back. Xandra just decided not to mention it had been years since she'd lost her car and thereby couldn't have gave Val a lift into town. She ignored the question of why they were after her, though. Grimm hadn't told Cinnamon yet, and Xandra wasn't sure she wanted to be the one to break the news to her. Then again. . . Grimm was taking way too long to tell her.
When Cici said that she knew what Xandra was doing, she raised an eyebrow at her. Huh, the girl had caught on after all. What surprised her more then that though was the fact that Cici was actually willing to train. Grimm had told her that whenever he tried to get Cici to practice, she'd refused so Xandra had been ready for a fight about it. She waited until Cici walked off to the personal gym Grimm had turned one of his rooms into for training slayers. Leave it to Grimm to be prepared for everything. And looked back to Val. "That was way too easy. I was expecting a struggle," she said.
With that Xandra turned and followed Cici into the gym. "The reason that there's vampires that want to kill you, is because you're a slayer, Cinnamon. Vampires try to kill Slayers at any chance they get, but slayers are the most vulnerable when they're new, before they're trained. That's when they're at their weakest point." Xandra let her voice lose it's edge that she'd had when she spoke to Cinnamon a moment ago and toned it down a bit. Sighing, Xandra crossed her arms over her chest, chewing on the inside of her cheek for a second. Cinnamon had surprised her, and Xandra decided that because she had she'd let down her bitch front for just a second.
"There's a lot that you have to learn. Some of it you'll learn from Grimm, and some of it from me. Most of it will come from your own experience. I only have a short time to teach you what you need to know from me, so I'll apologize in advance for being blunt and harsh. But, and even though you might not realize it right away, it's for your own good. It'll teach you how to defend yourself and those close to you, and-" Xandra smiled a little "-you'll learn 16 years of experience in just a matter of days if you pay close enough attention." As soon as she finished the smile disappeared and Xandra's second of actually being nice towards Cinnamon was up for the time being.
"Now," she continued, "show me what you've got. And after practicing I'll tell you why you're not the average Slayer," she said. With that, Xandra quickly moved and grabbed Cinnamon's arm, twisting it around behind her back to see how Cinnamon would try to get out of it. She only intended on practicing for a few moments tonight. Just to get an idea of what Cinnamon's skill level was. All Slayers had the basic fighting instinct and she knew that even being untrained Cinnamon would be able to get out of Xandra's hold. And, from Xandra knew about the Chosen One, once Cinnamon got some practice in, she'd be a pretty damn good fighter. After that, Xandra had decided that she'd tell Cinnamon she was the Chosen One and get it over with.

Ryder glanced at Grimm who followed him into the kitchen and asked what he was doing in town. Obviously they were on the same side, and is Grimm trained vampire slayer's he guesses the man was probably strongly anti-vampire so there would be no danger in discussing business. “I'm hunting vampires, one in particular, I'd heard rumors he was a few towns over, but didn't have much luck.” He said shrugging as he grabbed a tea kettle to boil some water. “I was passing through and man this place was dark, like nothing I'd ever felt.” He said resisting the urge to smile, not because Ryder liked darkness; well not all of him anyway but there would always be a piece of him that craved dark power. He hadn't used dark magic in years, it was sort of a last resort thing for him because he couldn't really handle too much of it. “So I thought I'd check it out, see if there was anything I could do.” He said as he lifted himself up and sat on the counter. “Names Ryder by the way.” He said realizing that with all the craziness he'd not introduced himself to anyone, well except Cici. “So English do you need a hand fighting the hordes of the undead, maybe I could help shed a little light,” He said pausing as he held out his hand which was now glowing. “To your dark town.” He said grinning slightly as he lightly clapped his hands and the light was gone. It was another parlor trick of his, just like the fireball, nothing too powerful but somewhat impressive if used right. “I can certainly handle myself in a fight. I don't know if you ever heard of Ivan Dravencroft? I took him out, mano-a-mano” He said bragging a bit, though after thinking about it he probably shouldn't have. Ivan, known as the Scourge of Europe, was a dark warlock, fairly well known at least he was back in the early 70's when he was actually alive. Bragging about things that he wasn't supposed to be alive for was a problem with him. “So this awkward huh, hanging out trying to not get hit my an UFT, unidentified flying tome.” He said laughing a bit, referring to to book throwing from earlier. “Hey if your house gets destroyed I can do the Mickey thing and summon up some brooms and what not.” He said referring to fantasia.
