July, 2012 Bluewater, South Carolina
In the tiny town of Bluewater, hardly anything ever exciting happens. The most excitement to hit the town was when old man Smith got drunk and went riding through town on a horse without anything on. Needless to say though, that was pretty scary. The town businesses all close at eight o'clock on the dot, and by nine o'clock, it's like a ghost town. Even the animals seem to disappear off the streets. It's been this way for years.
However, one hot July day, at sometime between seven and seven thirty, everything suddenly changes. The mall has nearly cleared out by this point, only a few people remain inside, taking refuge from the blistering heat outside, when they hear gunshots outside. The gunshots are quickly followed by the realization that outside in the parking lot, are zombies. Yes, honest to god, brain-eating, walking corpses. And there's a small army of them.
What can they do? Except to lock themselves in, while they try to figure out their best shot at survival. Of course, just because they lock most of the zombies out, doesn't mean that there isn't a few that have managed to slip inside, meaning that the group has to avoid being bit. See, if you're bit by a zombie, you'll turn into one. Usually this happens within two hours of infection, though a few rare cases have been known to last a bit longer.
Now, a group of strangers have to decide; do they stay and wait for help? Or do they try to escape past the zombies? And another important question; can they keep from killing each other in the process?
Just as the group begins to come to terms with the fact that yes, there are zombies wanting to eat them, they discover something even more disturbing; the people that are responsible for the zombie outbreak.

Name: Ice HartAge: 28Personality: Ice is cold, sarcastic, has a bit of a temper, and not really someone who you'd want to piss off. She tends to speak before she thinks, and because of this is usually making rude, sarcastic remarks. She has a habit of getting into fights, both verbal and physical, and sometimes likes to purposely provoke someone into fighting with her. Ice's name fits her perfectly, she's as cold as they come. She's never seen cracking a smile, and would rather throw you out a plate glass window then look at you. She's also very secretive, it's harder then pulling teeth to get a straight, truthful answer out of her.Appearance: Reason for Being At The Mall: Well, if Ice told you that, then she'd have to kill you. Then again, she may anyway.Extra: Ice has a deadly aim, and she always carries a Colt with her at all times. Ice has a silver, slightly curved dagger with an Onyx bejeweled handle that she's never without, and she's also a very good fighter.

Name: Rayne BlackAge: 25Personality: Rayne has a slightly more laid back attitude then her friend Ice. She tries to keep Ice under control, though that's nearly an impossible task since nothing and no one can control the girl. Rayne is secretive, yet willing to tell you certain things on a need to know basis. She's very serious, and her main focus is on trying to help get the group safely out of this mess. She's not one to walk away from a fight, but she doesn't go starting them either.Appearance: Reason for Being At The Mall: Same as Ice's...but she can't tell you what that reason is.Extra: Like Ice, Rayne is a very good fighter. She has a deadly aim, though she prefers bows and arrows to guns.

Name: Guy Taylor Age: 25 Personality: Guy is stoic, as devoid of emotions as he can be and could care less about other people; he reacts to everything in the most logical manner possible. He says what he's thinking and remains indifferent to the feelings of others, as they rarely have an effect on him. Guy always comes first, many would call him selfish, but honestly he doesn't care. His ego is massive and everything he does is because it’s something he wants and even something that seems selfless usually isn't. He hates all forms of authority, and is basically an anarchist. Guy will not take orders or even advice from someone he doesn't respect and there really isn't anyone he respects anyway. He is dark and cynical, he hates society and feels that most people are idiots especially those who frequent malls. To the very few people he actually likes, for example the people he works with, he is very loyal to, the sort of person you’d want to have your back, though he isn’t really the self sacrificing type. Guy enjoys conflict and enjoys causing it even more. He’s always up for a fight and he usually makes sarcastic and insulting remarks when he can to try and cause conflict. He also has a slightly masochistic fascination with pain, he occasionally laughs while in pain too. Guy is who he is and will make no apologies for that, he's not a cruel or vicious person just selfish, and he lives completely for himself. Appearance: Reason for Being at the Mall: Sadly the mall happens to be the only place in the whole damn town that sells anykind of art supplies. Normally he'd order off the internet but he kind of wanted to paint now, and since there's nothing else to do in the town after dark he figured he'd get in and get out as quick as he can. Extra: Guy is pretty talented artist, and has quite a bit of knowledge on creating homemade explosives and various other types of criminal activity. Slung over his shoulder is a black back pack in which he carries all sorts of things he thinks might come in use, things like homemade smoke bombs, a couple cans of spray paint, sand in his pocket theres always a pocket knife. He also uses a fake name, Guy being more of a nickname that he went by in the city, rather than his actual and slightly embarrassing real name. He is fairly notorious through the small town for his controversial art, his artistic vandalism and excessive smoking and drinking.

Name: Nathan Diamond Age: 29 Personality: The first thing people notice him is his vanity, it’s obvious just from looking at him that he’s very much in love with himself. From the way he obsessively works out to his over gelled hair, and of course the way he stops to admire himself in just about every reflective surface he walks by; he is a total narcissus and he’s not ashamed about it either. After himself there are only two other things he loves, money or anything worth a lot of money and beautiful women, but money definitely comes first, because with money comes the beautiful women. Nate is an excellent liar and is very charismatic; he can easily con the average person. Back when he was younger he used to have a terrible temper, got in fights all the time, but mellowed out quite a bit recently and avoids any sort of a fight if he can. Nate is also somewhat of a flirt, he likes to spends as much time as he can around women. He is, for the most part a very friendly guy, and he generally likes to be around people. Also Nate is a total kleptomaniac; he’ll steal just about anything he can get his hands on. Other than the impulsive stealing Nate usually keeps a cool head, thinks things through. Appearance: Reason for Being at the Mall: Being that Nate thinks it his job to keep Guy from causing too much trouble and blowing there cover. So he came along, planning to pick up some booze. Mostly Nate was bored. Extra: Nate's got full tattoo sleeves as well as a couple of tattoos on his chest. He's a bit more mellow than he was in his younger days but he's still sortof a punk. He manages Guy's tattoo shop, being more of a people person than Guy and he's always been good with money.

Name: Ziggy Jones, but most just call him Dude or Z.J. Age: 22 Personality: Ziggy believes in honesty, he never lies, he sees no reason to lie about anything he does, hiding his past wouldn’t do him any good, and he doesn’t do anything he’s ashamed of so he finds no reason to lie. Ziggy is completely against violence and avoids any sort of confrontation that he feels is unnecessary. He’s fine with friendly debates or something, but doesn’t like hostility at all. He is very passionate about the environment, and has the deepest respect for all living creatures; Ziggy literally wouldn’t hurt a fly. He’s also very friendly, he start talking to just about anyone, and if they decide they don’t like him very much he’ll gladly leave you alone, and if you just come right out an honestly tell him to go away he’d probably respect your honesty. He’s never been the time to be easily offended or hold a grudge, rarely raises his voice, and almost always smiles. He also seems like he's a bit out of it, he's very dazed and confused. Appearance: Reason for Being at the Mall: Good question what was he doing at the mall? He was looking for something and then forgot. Oh wait strings that's it he need guitar strings. Extra: Ziggy owns a health food store where he also cooks vegan food. He doesn't get too much business but he also sells stuff he makes online so he gets buy. He's vegan, pacifist and very pro environment, sometimes he may come off as an elitist but he doesn't mean too. He dresses much like you’d expect a hippie type guy would dress, tied dyed shirts and t-shirts, most to all made from recycled fibers or hemp, jeans usually ripped from being old and faded, and occasionally a hoodie when it's cold. He's almost always in sandals unless it's snowing and carries an old acoustic guitar with him.

Name: Amelia-Catherine Fraiser (no one knows about her fullname except a few people she works with) Nickname: Amelia Age: 25 Personality: Amelia has a sarcastic nature and if she gives you a sarcastic remark, either she's just playing around or she's just being mean because you pissed her off. She loves having fun, it's what she lives off of. She is naturally flirty so sometimes she doesn't notice that she is flirting until the guy flirts back. She has a very easy going attitude on things. She has a strange take on life. She has a thing for physical pain, if you get what I mean. She has trust issues and basically only trusts the people she works with. She likes to smile and laugh and have a good ole' time. She has a bit of a mix-personality. You see, one day she can be completely sweet and nice then she could be totally hateful. She has a cold side to her to the point where she may or may not try to kill you. She has mood changes suddenly but then again, not so suddenly. She's a patoligical liar that can lie her way out of anything dealing with what it's about. She's a quick thinking and fast learner. Job: Employee of Fallen's store, Twisted SoulsAppearance: Amelia-Catherine stands at the height of five feet and three inches, two inches shorter than Fallen. Amelia's first color is violet - hyacinth. It's like a clear, deap, vivid blue-violet color that is lumious and very beautiful. Her second color is gunmetal blue, which is a striking comparision that you might use for a hardedge woman. This color eyes are cold, hard-looking, and shining. They contain a lot of white in the iris that makes them appear blue-gray like metal and guns are usually made of steel and when they're polished and oided, they pick up blue highlights. Gunmetal blue has a dangerous, ruthless connotation. The third color is champagne brown. Now this color can be a sparkling white wine, pale orange yellow to grayish yellow or yellowish gray. It has connotations of wealth, beauty, and decadence. Champagne eyes can, also, have a very pale golden color with perhaps a warm, subtle orange tinge, yet, sparkle when they catch the light. Her fourth and last color is chartreuse green. Though, it has very little green in it, it's the name of the color, indeed. Chartreuse is a strong to brilliant greenish yellow to moderate or strong yellow green. This is a vivid light green that contains a lot of yellow in the iris. This is the color her eyes are when she's pissed off and ready to kick some butt. She has the right side of nose, pierced with a simple silver stud. She has a tongue pierced and the rod is a normal metal one and the balls are black with red polka dots. She has a tongue ring and the balls on the ring are lime green. She has her belly button pierced four times on all sides and the balls are blood red with orange polka dots. Reason for being at the Mall: She was at the mall to find something there Extra: -She likes eating ice cream during the winter. -Excellent shooter; pretty much perfect aim. -Hand to hand combat usually gets dirty with her. -She has read almost every book of the supernatural that has been publish. -She's been working on a book that she doesn't expect to make it published since it's just to get her mind flowing. -She has her journel with her at all times (it has the truths about her, the real Amelia-Catherine.) -She loves drinking coffee. -She's a bit of a drinker and carries a lime green backpack with her journel, weapons of some sorts, junk food, and other stuff that I don't feel like typing. lolz.

"What's the name of this hick town again?" Ice grumbled as she stepped over a fallen log in the woods.
"For the eighteenth time, Ice, it's called Bluewater," Rayne answered, running a hand through her hair as she opted to go around the log rather then over it and kept scanning the woods for any movement. So far they'd found four zombies wondering around.
"And remind me again why we're going to save a bunch of local yokels?" Ice asked, sarcasm dripping heavily in her voice.
Rayne finally came to a stop and rounded on her friend. "Because it's a the right thing to do, Ice. We've already been over this!" She said, trying to keep her temper under control. But after traveling non-stop with Ice for three days straight, even Rayne's patience was wearing thin.
Ice rolled her eyes. "Yeah, yeah, whatever, Rayne," she said dismissively and started walking again. But as she reached the edge of the woods, she came to a stop. "Damn, looks like there's more then we thought for this soon," she said, pointing to the parking lot.
Rayne stopped beside Ice then started cussing under her breath as she did a quick mental count of how many zombies she spotted. There looked to be at least thirty stumbling into the parking lot. "This is probably only the first wave," she said.
"Oh goody, just in time," Ice said sarcastically. "Let's get moving and see who's in the mall and get the hell out of here already," she grumbled, already taking off at a run.
Rayne took off shortly behind Ice, pausing here and there to shoot a few of the zombies. As they reached the door, Ice stopped and started shooting at any zombies in sight, but Rayne grabbed her wrist. "There's too many to kill, Ice, look." Rayne pointed to the other end of the parking lot where even more zombies were arriving.
"We're running low on ammo, we just better hope there's a gun store inside. Now come on." With that Rayne pulled Ice through the glass doors with her and into the mall. She quickly slammed the doors shut and Ice grabbed a bench and shoved up against them.
"What the hell?" A male voice said. Ice's head snapped up to find a balding, middle aged security guard standing there. He was staring out at the door at the waling corpses in shock.
Ice sighed and grabbed him by the front of his shirt. "Keys," she hissed, pulling him out of his shock. "Now!" The security guard quickly handed her the keys to the door and she tossed them to Rayne who locked the doors. "How many other doors are there?" Ice asked.
The security guard paused, but finally managed to answer. "Two. The back door and the emergency exit."
"Take these and go lock the back door. Ice go take care of the emergency exit," Rayne said. "And let go of the scared man before you give him a heart attack," she added, glaring at Ice. Ice rolled her eyes but let go of the security guard's shirt.
"Go," Ice hissed. The security guard took off with that, running through the store. "And what are you going to do?" Ice asked, turning to Rayne.
Rayne shrugged. "Find a gun store, and see who I can round up on the way."
Ice nodded. "Fine, I'll catch ya in a bit," she said, heading off and disappearing into the store to find the emergency exit.
Rayne found a stand in the middle of the mall that was a map of it. The mall was two story, and had a surprising amount of stores for such a small town. Rayne put her hand on the map and scanned over the stores until she stopped on the gun store she needed. Then quickly headed off in that direction.

Guy wandered through the hobby store at the mall, it would close soon so he need to hurry up with the shopping or stealing as it really was. He hadn't seen an employee of the shop lurking around anywhere and he knew there weren't any camera's, so he took the opportunity to slip several tubes and cans of paint into the backpack he carried, then quickly flung it back over his shoulder. He paused for a second and quickly scanned the store, still no sign of who ever was supposed to be working there, and the mall was practically deserted. He was glad he waited until late to go, less obnoxious locals roaming about. Guy missed New York, and being in the middle of bumfucked egypt was driving him crazy. He scanned the store again until his eyes landed on the register and he grinned, on the plus side people here had no common sense, leaving all that cash alone with a fella like him around. He crossed the couple of aisles between him and the counter and hopped over the counter and popped the drawer open. He quickly grabbed the cash and headed out of the store. He was about two feet away from the exit when he saw something, kind of strange.
One of chubby rent a cops from the mall sort of lunged towards him. Normally he would've figured he'd been bust for theft again but this guy was a sickly green and his chest and stomach were ripped open. His intestines trailed behind him as he waddled towards Guy who continued to jump just out of reach, trying to figure out what was going on. He quickly glanced at the exit, in the distance he saw about half a dozen more green people with what looked like fatal injuries. His first thought was holy fuck zombies, and his second thought was that's way too insane to be true. He continued to stay just out of the guys reach and finally maneuvered himself behind him and quickly grabbed the cops gun. He smacked the cop across the back of the head knocking the big man to the ground.
“Don't fucking mess with me you fucked up motherfucker.” He snarled at the man before kicking him a few times in the face. The man grabbed Guy's foot and pulled. Guy tried to keep his balance but the floor was covered in blood and he slipped. He frantically kicked the zombie away from him and fired a couple of shots into the mans torso. He quickly got back on his feet, now covered in blood and more than a little freaked out. The other guy started to slowly get up so guy fired another round, this time into the mans knee cap. It barely seemed to phase him, so this time Guy went for the head and squeezed off two rounds into the mans head. The cop fell back and stopped moving.
“That's right stay down.” He said staring at the man he shot. Just then the exit doors opened and three more greenish colored people stumbled towards him. “Shit.” Guy cursed and pointed the gun at the one nearest to him. He squeezed the trigger and heard a click. “Dammit.” He swore, the gun was out of ammo, so instead he threw it at the person and ran. He didn't get too far when he collided with someone.
“Damn Guy what the fuck?” A familiar voice asked, slightly annoyed from the ground. Guy was glad it was Nate and not another one of those freaky people. Guy jumped up, pulled Nate up as well and kept running.
“Run.” He shouted behind him pausing to make sure his friend followed.
“Run from what?” Nate asked as he looked around only to spot a dead cop and some sickly looking people heading for them. “God damn man what did you do?”
“Somethings wrong, something bad, we gotta run.” Guy said. Nate nodded, this did seem bad, and weird. Nate started running too, checking over his shoulder ever few seconds. They passed a few store windows and Nate slowed down just enough to check his reflection. Yeah his hair still looked good, so he sped back up to keep up with Guy. Up ahead was a bar and grill that looked empty.
“In here.” He shouted at Guy. They ran into the bar and began moving tables and chairs to barricade the doors. Once it seemed like they were safe for the time being the both glanced at each other and said the same word. “Zombies.” Nate headed to the bar and grabbed a bottle of whiskey and poured a shot. He was going to need it.
