While Rayne tried to stall Myra, she ran over any possible way to get out of this mess. . . but she was coming up with zlitch. Great. Just freaking great. And she was pretty sure that Myra was done being staled. The only thing Rayne could really do was lunge forward and hope for the best. Chances of getting out this without getting was looking pretty slim, though. She heard footsteps coming their way, and Rayne realized it must have been Sebastian. She needed the help, so she was glad for that. But she also realized that he was a witness, which meant that Myra wouldn't hesitate to shoot him. She heard Sebastian reach them, and was just about to tell him to get out of there and back to the gun store when she heard him say Myra's name.
Huh? Rayne looked away from Myra, to Sebastian and back. They knew each other? Funny, zombies didn't confuse her. Zombies were simple. This sudden development confused the hell out of her.
When Myra heard footsteps coming their way, she rolled her eyes. It was probably Ice, she hardly ever saw Rayne and Ice without the other one. She kept the gun aimed on Rayne, but when the silhouette appeared in the doorway, she swung the gun in that direction, every intention of pulling the trigger. But. . . she didn't. She did something very un-Myra like; she froze. Sebastian. What in the hell was Sebastian doing there?
When she'd peeked in the gun store earlier, she'd thought someone had looked familiar to her, but then she convinced herself it wasn't who she thought it was. There wasn't any way it could be. What were the chances, after all? Slim to none, or so Myra had thought. So, she'd hidden a few stores down, waited until Rayne and Ice had left, and then caught nobody looking and opened the gate to the store, letting the zombies stumble in on the survivors. Then Myra had planned on killing Rayne and Ice, and whoever was with them, and then go back and see if any of the survivors had managed to avoid getting eaten and take care of them. But. . . she hadn't expected Sebastian to be one of them.
Myra quickly snapped out of her shock when Sebastian spoke again, telling her not to shoot Rayne, because she wasn't a zombie and there to help. Myra gritted her teeth. Sebastian thought it was that simple. Little did he know. Myra hadn't seen him in years, and she had never told him what she did now. And she had never planned on it, either. And how in the hell was she going to deal with this, without him finding out? Rayne would probably tell him for sure, if Myra didn't kill her first, that was. But. . . if she did that, then Sebastian would end up finding out what was going on. Sebastian then holstered his gun, and asked why she was just standing there and not giving him a hug. Under any other circumstances, Myra would have already been doing just that. She'd have been happy to see her brother after all of those. . . but not here. This made Sebastian a witness. And Myra had been told to eliminate all of them.
But. . . even though Myra had the perfect opening; Sebastian had holstered his gun, he didn't expect anything. Rayne's gun was out of reach. Myra could easily do what she was suppose to do with both of them, and then leave. But, she couldn't do it. She didn't think twice about shooting Rayne, but she couldn't bring herself to shoot Sebastian, even though he was now a witness. Even Myra couldn't kill her own brother.
Well, wasn't this just peachy? Not only did she not know what to do, she knew that Jayne would be there soon. Along with Dumb and Dumber in the backseat. She couldn't let them see Sebastian. Which meant Myra really only had one option here. She kept her gun aimed at Rayne, to keep her from reaching her own gun, but she couldn't kill her in front of Sebastian. So, Myra did the only thing she could think of. She kicked Rayne's gun towards the door. "You, stay there and don't move," she told Rayne.
"You know, you still have a choice here, Myra. You can do what Ice and I did. Get out now. Come with us, and uh-" She glanced at Sebastian "-and your brother. He doesn't even have to know what you're really doing here," Rayne tried. She knew it probably wouldn't do any good with Myra. But she was trying to get Sebastian suspicious of her. Or at least, she hoped she could. Who would Sebastian believe? A stranger, or his own sister? Rayne didn't like her odds.
"Shut. Up. Now," Myra warned. Before Rayne had a chance to say anything else, to maybe tell Sebastian the truth about Myra, Myra turned and suddenly shoved Sebastian as hard as she could back out the door, following him out and slamming the door shut behind her, keeping Rayne inside. She did, however, lower her gun and kept it aimed at the ground and not at him. She even did something else un-Myra like and pulled Sebastian into a quick, but tight, hug. She let go and stepped back, shaking her head. "You need to get out of here, Sebastian. Now. I mean it. Take the supplies and get out of here. Pretend you never saw any of this and keep going. Don't stop until you get out of the state. Go North, the infection is only spreading South. Do not tell anyone what you saw here, ever. Under any circumstances." Myra didn't know if it would do any good, but she hoped that her brother would listen to her for once. She never let a witness get away. . . but she was making an exception. She just hoped he took it. Because there was only so much Myra could do, and she could never explain this to Jayne. "I'll deal with her and the rest of the mess here. Maybe later I can catch up with you somewhere again," she added. "Just go, Sebastian. Now," Myra tried again. If she could just convince Sebastian to leave, she could kill Rayne, then Ice, then the rest of the witnesses and the zombies once she got more ammo, and be done with this mess.

Ice rolled her eyes as she heard Guy's comment about having her back. Ice really didn't trust him on that. The only person she trusted to really have her back was Rayne. And some guy she'd just met, a guy that annoyed the hell out of her more than. .. well, more than most of the people she knew.
She dodged a couple of the zombies, shooting the ones closest to her, as she made her way to the door. Ice heard a few gunshots. Well, at least Guy had stuck around and hadn't taken off. As Ice got farther into the zombie mess, she heard Guy talking. At first, Ice rolled her eyes. What the hell was wrong with him? Taunting the zombies? He must have been. . . then it hit her. Oh. He was drawing their attention towards him. Probably getting them close enough to shoot, and keeping the majority of them distracted from her. Huh. Who knew Funny Boy had half a brain, after all? Ice was a little impressed, not that she'd admit that, of course. Especially not to him. He'd just love that way too much.
Especially since, as Ice soon realized, it was working. Most of the zombies shuffled towards Guy, and the ones that didn't were easy enough for Ice to shoot quickly. After a moment or two of this, dodging and shooting, Ice finally made her way to the door. As soon as she reached it, Ice grabbed it and slammed it shut. Or at least, tried to. As she was just getting the door closed when a zombie stumbled towards it, reached through the small opening between the door and the wall, grabbing ahold of Ice's arm. Ice yanked her arm back, feeling her jacket tug and rip. Normally Ice was unfazed by most things, and never lost her cool, but she felt her heart rate suddenly pick up, her heart pounding against her ribs. If she'd been infected. . . Ice recovered from the surprise, shoved her gun forward and shot the zombie before slamming the door shut and locking it.
She looked down at her arm, pulling the jacket up and was relieved to see that the zombie had only torn her jacket and not broken the skin. Ice sighed, trying to force herself to relax, and then turned and started zombies the once again. By this point, Ice noticed that they had gotten. . . well, kinda close to Guy. Maybe a little too close when she saw him smack one with his gun before shooting it and she thought she heard him say something like 'can't touch this' which made Ice roll her eyes. Ice then quickly helped Guy finish shooting the rest of the zombies. Now that the door was closed and there wasn't any more getting it, it was easier to make progress and before Ice knew it, the zombies were all dead. Ice reloaded her gun, for the second time, and then headed over to Guy, stepping over the twice dead corpses that now littered the ground.
When she reached Guy, Ice paused. Ohhh, this next part was going to hurt. "Thanks," she muttered. Or more ground out through clenched teeth. Mostly because Ice was not one to say that word often. And she certainly didn't want Guy getting any more full of himself than she already thought he was. But even as much as Ice hated to use that word, she owed it to Guy for actually staying and following through with his word that he had her back. Shaking her head, she looked around. Currently not seeing any zombies. "Now, do you have any idea about where we can get the hell out of here?" she asked.

Jaz frowned at EJ when he snapped at her. "Well, geez, I was just asking. No reason to bite my head off," she said. Then cringed. Bad choice of words, considering the situation and all. She took a step back, watching as the zombies began to filter into the shop. She really, really hated these gross people. They were. . . well, gross, and she really didn't want to get eaten. That would be no fun at all. She took a step back farther away from them, flinching when EJ started shooting, since she was only standing a few feet away from him, it was slightly louder to her than the other guns going off. Yeah, that was going to make her ears ring for hours now.
Jaz took another step back, crinkling her nose up at the zombies that had been shot and were now laying on the ground. They were gross moving, but even grosser when they were dead. Well. . . deader, anyway. EJ suddenly glanced over at her, telling that she should try it. She frowned at the comment about it being as fun as it sounded. "Uh, I think I'd rather-" she started to say, but before she could finish, the pink haired girl suddenly came over, shoving a gun into Jaz's hand.
"Just aim at the head and shoot. It's not that hard, I already loaded it," Pepper instructed. "Just make sure you only get zombies," Pepper added, then hurried off, shooting zombies herself.
Jaz frowned at the gun in her hands, it felt heavy and awkward. She really wasn't good at this type of thing. She never even played those videos games where you shot things. A zombies tumbled towards her, and Jaz let out a yelp, jumped back and aimed the gun. She pulled the trigger, and the bullet. . . well, sort of hit its mark. Jaz had been aiming for the head, and the bullet hit the ear of the zombie. Trying again, Jaz's second shot hit the zombie in the shoulder, and finally the third shot got the zombie in the head and made it hit the ground. Alright, so many that was a little fun after all. Well, gross, but a little bit fun.
The 'fun' part wore off rather quickly for Jaz, however, when a zombie suddenly stumbled towards her from the side. Yelping again, Jaz jumped out of the way, her finger accidentally tightening on the trigger and shot the gun off. The bullet went nowhere near the zombie, instead hitting the ceiling. . . and shooting out one of the fluorescence lights, shattering the glass, and sending it raining down on the ground. Along with sending a third of the store into semi-darkness. Oops.
Jaz cringed. "See, that is why I so do not like guns," she muttered. The zombies shuffled towards her again, and Jaz hit it with the handle of the gun, knocking it away from her and onto the ground. When it hit the ground, Jaz thought she could hit it, so she tried. The first bullet hit the ground beside the zombie. The second bullet hit the zombie in the stomach, and finally the third bullet hit it in the head. Hmmm,. maybe third time really was the charm. Since it was taking Jaz three times to shoot one zombie. "That's it, I'm done with these," Jaz muttered, dropping the gun Pepper had gave her onto the gun counter. She'd do better to just hit the zombies with whatever she cold grab then trying to shoot them.

Had the zombies not started stumbling in when they did, Pepper would have asked Ashton if he remembered where the tunnels were. But as it was, she had to focus on shooting the zombies and keeping them off of her, and trying to look out for the others there as well. Though most of them seemed to be handling themselves well enough that she didn't have to. Which Pepper was happy to see. She shot a few zombies, then took a break to give a gun to the blonde girl that hadn't had one, before returning to the zombie shooting herself.
Pepper tried to make her way closer to the gate, to try to get it closed. But that was easier said than done with the zombies pouring in. And how the hell did the gate even get opened, anyway? Pepper wondered. She'd never seen a zombie able to do something like that. And she suddenly got a sickening feeling. But a human could. A human that wanted them dead. And the only people Pepper could think that would do something like that was the people the company sent out to clean up these little messes. And if they were here. . . well, it wouldn't be good. Pepper hoped that she was wrong, but she knew deep down that she wasn't.
Trying to shake off the thoughts, Pepper glanced over and saw that Ashton had climbed up onto the counter and was shooting the zombies from there. Good idea, Pepper thought. Only she decided to steal his idea and do something a little bit different. She climbed up onto one of the stands in the middle of the store, and got on the top of it. And then she jumped to the next one, staying just out of the zombies' reach. She did this twice more, until she got to the front of the store and near the gate. She paused, shooting the zombies in the entrance of the store, then took a deep breath. Oh, this was a bad idea.
But even knowing that, Pepper went for it. She let out the breath she'd been holding and jumped forward. She grabbed onto the gate as she jumped, and pulled it down to the ground with her as she landed. The gate slammed against the ground, making a hell of a noise, but at least it was closed and kept the rest of the zombies out. Now she just hoped the four that left could shoot the rest and get back inside alright. Pepper cringed whens he landed, a sharp pain shooting through her right ankle. Oh good, a twisted ankle, that was all she needed when she was going to have to try to outrun the zombies. She ducked to the side, just as zombie reached for her and ducked behind a shelf, hopping on her good foot to do so, and brought her gun up, shooting the zombie, plus another one. There was still several zombies in the store, but at least now that the gate was closed once again, they just had to deal with the ones already in the store and not have more just replace the ones they shot.

Chase shot the zombies closest to him, but then spun around when he heard a thud behind him. Seeing a zombie laying on the ground just behind Angel. Well, that was a close one, he thought. He glanced over, seeing someone on the counter and saw it was Ashton. Not a bad idea, Chase thought. He turned around again, shooting a zombie that was getting a little too close for his taste. At least there were several people here; just one or two would never be able to keep the zombies at bay. Chase took a step back, and glanced over at Angel when he heard her ask someone to close the gate. "I think that's easier said than done," he muttered. But, Chase also noticed that the girl looked to be. . . well, freaking out. Then again, he couldn't really blame her. If Chase allowed himself to really think about what was going on, he probably be damn near freaking out himself. Which was why he was just running on automatic. Letting his cop training kick in and just doing what he knew he should be doing.
A blur of pink caught his attention, and he looked over in time to see the pink haired girl jump for the gate and bring it down with a bang. Well, wish granted. "Guess she heard you," he said, glancing over at Angel. Maybe making a joke would try to help her from freaking out too badly, he thought. Chase took a step back closer to her, pausing and shooting anther zombie. When he had a second, Chase pulled his extra gun out and handed it to Angel. "Hhere take this. It's easy, just shoot them in the head," Chase said. He didn't know if she already had a gun or not, he hadn't seen one, so he just assumed she didn't. "With the gate closed, we just need to take care of the ones that got through," he added, trying to talk her through it. Even though he'd gave her a gun, Chase still decided to stay close, shooting the zombies that got near them, in case she didn't end up using the gun after all.

Ciara flinched when she heard Jayne's voice. Yeah, that was the exact reason she usually tried to avoid speaking directly to him. So much for staying invisible, though. Ciara actually had an argument on the tip of her tongue for what Jayne had said. . . and with anyone else she probably would have just said it. But since Jayne was second on her list of people that scared the crap out of her, she didn't say it. Instead she just sank farther down in her seat, trying to slide down far enough that Jayne wouldn't even be able to see her in the rear view mirror. She cringed at Q's comment towards Jayne, knowing that wouldn't go over well. Jayne was already acting hostile enough as it was, before the comment about a dangerous chemicals getting slipped into his food. Sure enough, it was followed up by a threat from Jayne. Ciara wished that Q hadn't said anything else to poke him, but at the same time, that was one of the things she liked the best about The Doctor, she'd even heard him take up for janitors in the lab when someone tried to intimidate them.
She flinched, then cringed, when Jayne sent her Ipod flying back and hitting Q in the mouth. Really, Ciara should have known that Jayne would use it as a weapon, she realized in hindsight. She chuckled a bit, careful to keep it too low for Jayne to overhear, when Q made the comment that he was a Backstreet Boy fan anyway. But muttered a 'sorry' when she took it when he handed it to her. She'd only been trying to be nice when she'd gave him the Ipod to borrow, but now she felt guilty over him getting hit with it. Even if it had been Jayne that threw it back at them. Ciara quickly leaned over and put it back in her bag, it was undamaged, Q had said it was, but she wanted to get it out of the way while she could before anything else happened to it. "Not your fault," Ciara added when Q said sorry, then added that they were almost there and Myra probably would have thrown it out of the car anyway. Ciara agreed with him. Only she imagined that Myra would have shot it, then thrown it out of the car. And if she was in a really bad mood, maybe sent them out after it.
Q went on to explain that he might have something to make someone immune to the virus, and that instantly made Ciara perk up. Anything that involved an experiment always got Ciara's interest, and one of the few things that could hold Ciara's attention. A lot of things, Ciara sort of had ADD with. . . or HADD, according to Myra, but start talking about some sort of experiment and Ciara stayed focused on it. She watched as Q got his portable microscope, and placed a slide on it, saying that he just needed to see how it reacted with the virus before testing it on a human. "Oh wow, really? That would be super cool if it works. Which, it probably will. That would really help save a lot of people, and that would be perfect for the teams that get sent in to deal with them. No risk of infection. Maybe Myra will have a sample for you when we get to the mall so you can go ahead and test it." Ciara wasn't exactly looking forward to Myra joining them again, but she knew it was inevitable. And it was in the name of science, after all, if they were able to get a sample from her for Q to test the new serum on.
Ciara bounced in her seat a little as she spoke again. "You didn't tell me you were so close to possibly finding a preventive!" she said, grinning.

Nate still hadn't pulled that trigger and the zombie was getting a bit too close. Then he got lucky, Amelia pulled the zombie away from him and shoot it in the head. Nate knew she was helping him but he was already annoyed with himself for not maning up and shoot the damn zombie himself, having to get saved by a girl only made him more embarrassed. “I'm fine, I don't need your help, I can handle myself.” He muttered ignoring her hand and standing back up on his own. He didn't like having to need help from other people. He glanced over at the gate and saw the pink haired girl closing it. Thank god for that, he was sick of smelling the rotting flesh of the zombies and having to deal with his gun issues. He looked back over at Amelia and felt bad for snapping at her, she had kind of saved his life. “I'm sorry.” He said pretty quietly, almost to quiet to be heard. “I don't really like guns.” He added not wanting to go into anymore detail than that.

EJ rolled his eyes at Jaz's comment about biting her head off. Now was really not the time for bad jokes, and really it wasn't like his problems were any of her business. Besides the whole town pretty much knew his issues, he doubted she was in the dark about his problems. While he was concentrating on shooting the zombies the pink haired girl gave Jaz a gun. She managed to shoot a few zombies and then she shot the lights out of part of the store. Great, she was basically freaking out while shooting a gun, that never turned out well. She dropped the gun back on the counter and EJ handed it back to her.
“This is the only thing that's going to kill these things. If you don't want to end up as the pretty blonde that dies first you should probably hang on to it, it might just save your life.” He said before shooting another zombie. The pink haired girl then managed to close the gate which was definitely a relief. “You need to just relax a bit, think of it like a game, squeeze the trigger as slowly as you have time for and keep your arm as still as possible, it'll help your aim.” He added, hoping she'd give the gun another try. He remembered hearing similar advice form all the movies he'd seen.

Guy was sort of relived when Ice helped him finish shooting what was left of the zombies. They were getting a bit too close for him and he sure as hell didn't want to get bit by one. Also Guy, being the genius that he is, forgot grab extra ammo, something he realized when he saw Ice reload. Yeah that was smart thinking on his part, he checked the gun, he was getting pretty low. Guy heard Ice mutter a thanks, it sounded almost painful for her, which as kind of funny. He shrugged. “Yeah well we do kind of need you and Rayne to get us the hell out of here.” He said shrugging. Becoming zombie chow was not what he wanted to do today and he knew he needed Ice and Rayne to get out of this alive, but he didn't have to like it. She asked if he knew how to get out of the mall and he nodded.
“Yeah, there's a way out through the security dude's offices, near where they hold the shop lifters. The door lead out to the employee parking area around the middle of the mall, it's like a side entrance so most of the zombies are by the front and back they probably aren't too many there.” He said as he looked around checking to make sure there weren't any zombies coming this way. “You wanna check it out, make sure we gotta clear path?” Guy asked.

Sebastian had never been so confused before, people were usually easy to read but not Myra. Something weird was certainly going on, and he really wanted to know what Rayne had meant when she said he didn't need to know what Myra was doing. From what he was piecing together, Rayne and Ice had worked with his sister doing something that was related to these zombies. Rayne and Ice left and were trying to help survivors of the outbreak and Myra was...working for zombies? No that last part made no sense. What was she up too, whatever it was it couldn't be as bad as Rayne made it sound, she was his sister, he knew her and she wasn't a bad person. Suddenly she shoved him out the door and told Rayne not to move. She wanted him to leave the state and pretend he hadn't seen anything.
“Leave? I can't just leave. My, there are people here who aren't infected, they need our help we have to get everyone out of here and we have to help them.” He said not really sure why she wanted him to leave so badly, he assumed she just wanted to make sure he didn't get eaten or anything but still he couldn't leave the others. “What do you mean you'll deal with this mess? What about Rayne? What on earth is going on here?” He asked trying to avoid the question he really wanted answered. He starred at her gun that she still hadn't holstered. “You're not going to kill her right?” He whispered. He didn't want to hear the answer but he had to know. What if he was wrong about Rayne, maybe she was really the enemy, maybe her and Ice were working with the zombies and Myra was here to stop them.

Q shrugged. “Well I wasn't sure if it would work or not I mean it could cause a violent and messy death or turn your skin blue, I don't know well it'll work unless I can test on infected tissue and then possible on a live subject...” He said as he looked at he vaccine through he microscope again. He'd made this back in the lab just before they had left but hadn't gotten a chance to test it yet. He wished he was back in the lab, it was safe there and he had all those wonderful machines that and personally he thought he had a better chance of making something useful back there. But he couldn't test anything, he had no infected tissue samples and he needed to be out here to be able to see what worked and what the side effects are.
Q was dreading getting to the mall, while he wasn't too afraid of Jayne, Myra was a whole other story. Jayne was predicable, he was didn't enjoy killing, though you couldn't tell that from how he talked, but Q had known him long enough to that Jayne probably wouldn't kill him for being annoying, and Q was used to being knocked around a bit. This was nothing new to him. Myra on the other hand was less predicable, she might kill him the second he stopped being useful and since he liked living he hoped his vaccine would work.
Q glanced up from the microscope and looked at Ciara. “I'm sorry I got you dragged into all this. I never meant for this to happen you know, I really only wanted to do something good.” He whispered. He tried to shake off his guilt but he couldn't. He was worried if he wasn't useful Myra might shoot her too, or she'd expect Ciara to be more useful than he was and then if she failed Myra would shoot her. Q didn't want anyone else to die because of what he did. He thought about all those poor people in the town Myra had already shot, all that blood was on his hands.

Amelia's reaction wasn't like most girls when she heard him, as she dropped his hands. She noted that most girls would have rolled their eyes and stomped off. She also noticed that Angel had a gun, while some of the store was out from some girl that didn't know how to use a gun. Great, there was more like Angel. She also noticed that she didn't reply to him, she just shot at a zombie when it got to close to them before he told her he was sorry, she almost didn't hear him and then she heard him say that he didn't like guns. Interesting. Given from his previous answers, he knew how to shoot one, must be guilt. "It's okay." she said, leaning over giving him a kiss on the cheek. She was lucky enough to see Angel's hand a little shaky, and grabbed his shouder and started nudging him towards the wall. She realized there was no time, both of them would be safe caught in the crossfire, so she ended up slamming Nate against a wall and during that, she felt a bullet almost get too close for comfort. She glanced at Angel, and looked back at Nate, "I didn't think you wanted a bullet wound." she said, quietly before taking a step back and turned so she could see that the zombies was going down to non-existant. . . Well at least, the ones that was in the score since the pink one got the gate down. She didn't know her name so she was going to be the pink one now. She still wasn't able to relax, she getting a bad feeling. She glanced over at Nate, "Don't worry, we all have our reasons for stuff." she said, it was her way for saying that she wasn't going to ask about his.. gun issue especially since she had skeletons in her closet. She's probably the only one that's wrote about it, well way after court anyway. She thought about making a book like "If I did it.." but then it'd be kind of obvious and that guy did that ones, she didn't really remember her name.
She watched the last zombie drop, so she began to relax a little but she still wasn't going to fully relax. She reloaded her gun and was starting to wonder when those four kids was going to come back.

Ashton was in a defensive stance while he was shooting at zombies, working his way on filtering the ones that kept made there way into the store and kept reloading his gun. He also noticed that Pepper was making her way towards the gate. Clever. He reloaded his gun while noticing that a zombie lundged at him, the only option he had was to jump upwards and landed on the skeleton, causing this bones to crack under his weight. It was one of the most disgusting things he's heard in his life. He also noticed that the weight of his jump, caused the glass gun case counter to break. He did a self body quick check, he wasn't bleeding so that wasn't his blood leaking on the floor. He took a closer look at his little zombie friend. It appeared that he got himself stabbed in the head with a piece of sharp glass. Dumbass. He rolled his eyes and took a step up on the guncase next to the one he was currently one and stepped down. He shot a few of the remaining zombies, he was making his way towards where Pepper was currently located at.
Ashton walked around to where she was and put her arm over his waist and picked her up, carrying her to the front counter. He knew from several experiences that involved talking to the once known manager. He hopped over the counter after setting her down and looking through several cabinets before pulling out an emergency and first aid kit. He took off her shoe without saying a word and glanced up, "This will hurt." he said, before quickly tugging on her foot making a bone snap then brought out a ice pack that you have to work on it to make the effect come into play and put it to her foot. "How's that?" he asked her. He noticed that he sat his gun beside her, it was just incase the gate happened to come back up again.

Angel wasn't good with guns, she never had been. She wasn't the one that was good with guns. She was a lot better with a bow and arrow. However, she wasn't very good with that either, no. She was useless here, too. Damn, she should have gathered more zombie infestation type of skills. That's what she secretly admired about Ashton and even Amelia. She heard Chases muttered response, and noticed that there was a pink haired girl, that she saw earlier talk to Ashton. "Seems like someone's trying." she started, then noticed that she landed on the ground and his comment and smiled, "Glad to know someone listens to me." she playfully teased. She heard him and watched the numbers go down and she tried to shoot at one but it went straight to Amelia almost hitting her and her friend. Great.. she was going to be murdered. She bit her lip, and shot again, it hitting the counter, causing the glass to shadder to the ground. That was before he gave her advice, she was so scared that she was going to kill someone. She saw that he wasn't pay attention to his other side, and saw a zombie ludge towards him, she grabbed his arm and pulled towards him and grabbing a metal arrow stabbing it in the head. She bit her lip and looked around and noticed that all the zombies was gone, it was done.. well. . . for now, at least. She looked up at him, with a shy smile, "I'm sorry, he almost got you." she said, biting her lip. Yeah, guns wasn't her thing.

Ciara nodded her head when Q said that he hadn't told her about the possible preventive because he wasn't sure how well it would work until he could test it on infected tissue, and then maybe on a human. It made sense, and Ciara accepted his reasoning for not telling her about it sooner without any farther questioning. Obviously The Doctor had a good reason for keeping it to himself, and Ciara trusted him on it. Ciara looked away, while Q studied his microscope, down at her hands as she silently wondered about how Q had created a possible preventive, what formula he might have used and so on. She had a ton of questions in her head about it, but she tried to keep her curiosity and excitement to herself, not wanting to distract The Doctor while he worked. She was only there to help, after all, not bug him with millions of questions.
When Q spoke again, Ciara looked up at him, blinking and not quite processing what he was saying right away. Then it slowly began to make sense to her. Ever since the zombie thing had started, Ciara had seen the guilt in Q's eyes over the whole thing, and he obviously blamed himself for it. That was why Ciara always took up for him when people tried to blame him for it; she knew Q felt bad enough as it was, and didn't need anyone adding to it. And truth be told, Ciara didn't blame Q for it.
Which was why Ciara shook her head, making her blue hair fly around her face. "You didn't drag me into this. I like being here, I like helping you try to figure out a cure," Ciara said, careful to keep her voice too low for Jayne to overhear. Alright, so maybe she wasn't exactly thrilled about being around Jayne and Myra that much, but Ciara did like being around Q and his work. "Seriously, Q, have you ever known me to be shy? You'd know if I didn't want to be here," she joked, trying to help lift Q's mood a little. Ciara then went a little more serious. "And I know, Henry. I don't blame you for any of this, you know that." Ciara hardly ever called Q by anything other than Q, Dr. Quentin, or The Doctor, but she barely even noticed she's called him by his first name.
"I know that you only wanted to do something good. And I think you're on the right path. Everything takes time, trail and error, and there's bad that comes with good. It was Umbrella's fault for the outbreaks, they should have been more careful. Everything you've done was contained in the lab, Umbrella is the one responsible for it spreading. The blood of anyone that was hurt because of this is on their hands for not being more responsible, not yours. And they're the ones that told you what to do anyway," Ciara rambled. She might have been rambling, but she meant everything she said. She always hated when Q started blaming himself for what had happened.
"Just wait, this preventive will work. And then you'll find a cure for someone that's already infected. And eventually you'll find cures for other things that have always been incurable up until then, and it'll make things not seem so bad," she added.
