Rainer stood in the basement of the house he'd taken over a couple of months ago, an alter around him, and a book stand directly in front of him. On the book stand sat a very old book, bound in a black leather cover and filled with aged, yellow pages. Inside the book was a large number of various spells, all created and used by black magic. He was chanting under his breath in a dead language, his eyes closed and his hands planted on either side of the book.
As the ground stood violently under his feet, and items fell around him, Rainer kept his eyes closed and continued to chant. Suddenly the shaking stopped, and Rainer opened his eyes, pulling his hands away from the book. He slammed the book shut, and walked over to the small table across from him. On it sat a mortar and pestle, in it were various items, including the blood of an innocent, which the spell had required. Rainer had found an unsuspecting victim wandering the streets last night and disposed of her after getting the blood he needed for the spell. He picked up a small leaf off the table, and dropped it into the mortar and pestle and began crunching it into the mix.
"Go see if it worked," Rainer snapped. Behind him stood Jack, his assistant and a powerful demon that had been Rainer's second in command for a very long time. The only one, in fact, to last longer than a few years with Rainer. Jack nodded his head, and quickly left the basement.
After finally discovering that the Gate To Hell was located in some little dinky town in Montana, Rainer hadn't wasted any time in going there and finding a nice little hide out to work his magic. After arriving, Rainer had made an ever better discovery. That the so-called Chosen One was right here in town. How wonderful. She was a young girl, too. Probably couldn't fight her way out of a paper bag, Rainer had decided. He'd had his spies keeping an eye on her, and soon would have some of the best vampires arriving to send after her. He'd chosen the best, the most evil ones around to send after the girl. And he had a plan to. . . motivate them to move as quickly as possible. Granted Rainer usually didn't work with vampires, but he felt these would be good for the job he needed. And if not, he'd just kill them and find someone else for the job.
He wanted that girl. He wanted to make her open the Gate To Hell. With her, Rainer could release an army of demons, all forced to do as he wanted. But, in the meantime, Rainer had other plans to keep him busy. While he couldn't open the Gate. . . he could access the dark magic surrounding it. And he had learned to bend it into helping him cast spells that he normally would never be able to pull of otherwise. Like the one he'd just cast. He'd managed to resurrect a create that hadn't walked the Earth in over five thousand years. A rare vampire/demon hybrid. Extremely hard to kill, and was probably wrecking chaos at that very moment. Rainer smiled at the thought. If he kept bringing in creatures like that, surely it would keep whoever came to help the Chosen One too distracted to be able to protect her.

Grimm sat in his living room, books laying around every available surface, opened to certain pages. He had a book on his lap, a notepad laying inside it for him to scribble notes on. Ever since he'd found and been charged with watching, the Chosen One, he'd been doing as much research as possible. On both what she was suppose to be, and on the Gate To Hell. Grimm had heard of both, of course, but he'd never really done research on it, because he hadn't expected to find The Chosen One in his lifetime. And he'd certainly never expected anyone like Cici.
Grimm sighed, shaking his head. The girl was proving to be. . . interesting. To say the least. And Grimm was trying to get her to learn how to fight, before he told her what she really was. But he had a feeling that he would have to tell her soon. He'd heard rumors that a powerful demon was in town. And bringing in reinforcements to help him. What Rainer was planning, Grimm didn't know for sure, but he suspected it had to do with Cinnamon. Just like he suspected that it wouldn't be long before someone made a move on her, and tried to get her. Or kill her. Some would want to use her to open the Gate To Hell, and others would want to kill her to avoid it happening. Grimm had come to think of Cinnamon as a daughter, even though he hadn't known her long, and he planned on doing everything he could to keep her from getting hurt. But there was only so much he could do. Hence why he had called Xandra in to teach her how to fight. And help him tell her what she was really was. Grimm was dreading that.
Suddenly, there was a loud clap of thunder, shaking the walls of Grimm's house. He frowned, looking up from his book. There hadn't been any storms moving in that he'd known off. Then suddenly the floor began to shake violently. Knocking pictures off the walls, items off shelves. Some of Grimm's books fell to the ground, losing their places. Grimm himself fell off the couch, his glass sliding off his face and landing on the floor beside him.
When the shaking finally stopped, Grimm looked around at the mess it had caused. But he barely even noticed. Instead, he was worrying what the shaking had been caused by. His stomach knotted at the thought. Rainer had done something. Probably by accessing the dark magic coming from the Gate. And whatever he had done, couldn't be good.

Jinx let out an oomph sound, falling forward and landing on the floor of her kitchen, face first. Pots and pans, dishes and glasses, fell off the counter and out of various cabinets, as the floors and walls shook violently. Jinx let out a squeal as the butcher's block fell and barely missed her head. She looked up towards the counter, just in time to see a glass vial falling off it. She lunged forward, throwing her hands out and barely managed to catch it before it crashed to the ground. Jinx sighed in relief. The shaking stopped. And Jinx looked around the now messy kitchen.
"Okay, I so did not do that," she said. She sat up, and saw another vial falling off the counter. But this one she didn't have time to attempt to grab. It crashed to the ground, shattering and the kitchen filled with smoke. Jink coughed, climbing to her feet and ran over to a window and threw it open, letting some of the smoke out of the house. "Now I have to make another smoke bomb," she muttered to herself.

CINNAMON found herself awake around noon during daylight and had spent the day walking around town during the day and came back later to take a nap. She was wearing a black and red plaid skirt with a white tank top with her black beat up converses. She was sound to sleep taking a nice little nap when she opened her eyes to see lighting shooting across the sky and felt the ground shake, jumping up, holding in a scream and shot into the open window, climbing down and hitting the ground when she wasn’t far down. This could have been her worst mistake but she found herself tripping towards the porch, but she wanted to see what was going on, even if she was the worst candidate on helping with such adventures.
She started getting a little brave and found herself looking towards the noises then the other direction, she knew that the vampires was out and she was terrified. She had a stake but she was so inexperience. She could die, maybe that was why she was out there. She could taste the adreliane from it all. She lifted up an eyebrow and was starting to turn back around, then something caught her eye, it was a figure but she couldn’t tell what it was. She didn’t know if she should see what the figure was or run back in Grimm’s house. She was lightly biting her bottom lip.
LOGAN had been awake and had casually worked out from he woke up and was getting dressed as the ground began to shake, “fuck..” muttered out of his lips, as he glanced out the window to see smoke coming out of Jinx’s window. He didn’t live far from the girl he had a major crush on, but that didn’t creese his worry since he knew she was pretty bad with potions and often had accidents. So he quickly put on a shirt and left the house, kissing his mother on the forehead and told her to stay inside the house and don’t let anyone in. If someone came that she should go down in the emergency room and wait for him.
He jogged across the street to Jinx’s house as the smoke seemed a little odd to him. When he reached the door, he gently knocked on the door and played the waiting game. This wasn't the first time he came over here to check on things. His werewolf senses often kicked in at night when she was messing with something that involved odor.

Name: Dexter Vaughn Age: 22 Species: Human Power: None, but he's good at crime and hunting vampires. He also has a little bit of those slayer instincts, no super strength or anything, like he can when a vampire is near and his sense are more alert than most humans. He knows he got these from his mother who was a vampire slayer. Personality: Dex is a cocky smart ass who likes to push peoples buttons, usually it's all in good fun but if you piss him off he can get nasty. He has a bad temper and likes get into fights. He never seems to care whether or not he wins his fights, in a battle he's reckless and impulsive, the way he sees it he's already lost everything what's it gonna matter if he loses his life too? He just want's to take out as many vamps as he can until one, inevitably kills him. He doesn't have much martial possessions but what he has he's very protective of and if you mess with his stuff he'll flip his shit. He can be paranoid, hostile, violent and anxious but loyal, brave, generous and he'll sacrifice himself in a second for another human being. To Dex there is no gray, there is good and evil, people are good everything else is far game. Appearance: History: Dexter's mother was a slayer and his father was that slayer's watcher. He grew up being home schooled, learning how to fight vampire's and read dead languages along with his math and history. He was always so proud to have hero's for parents and they thought it was important for him to be able to fight if he had too. His father had been fired from the watchers council when his relationship with his slayer was discovered, and his mother was cut off from the watchers council when she refused to give up her son and continue slayer duties. After he had been born his parents stopped actively hunting evil, only stepping in to stop it when it came near there town. Though Dex always complained about how he wanted to go out and kill vampire's too his parents did there best to keep him sheltered from the violence for as long as they could. Dex was only eight years old though when vampires burnt his house down trying to drive his parents out of the home for an attack. His parents tried to fight them but there was too many of them and Dex watched from his tree house as his parents were killed. After that he was taken in by his mother's brother, his Uncle Ned, who after figuring out his sister was a slayer and that there were vampires and demons running a muck became a hunter himself. He stayed with his Uncle Ned for a several years, they guy's family had been killed by a werewolf several years before and he took Dex under his wing, treating him like the son he'd lost. Ned was his mentor for about ten years before losing a fight to some vampire, and after that Dex spent most of his time traveling and living out of a Mustang. He steals when he needs something, all the good he does he figures the universe owes him a free meal or two. Two years ago he tracked down most of the vampires that had attacked his parents only to find out they had turned his father into one of them. He attacked there nest in Texas, burning there home to the ground at noon, when the sun was high in the sky. Most of them died there but four of them escaped into the sewers, including the man who was once his father. He kept after them, getting into a brutal fight and nearly getting himself killed but in the end there were four piles of dust and one broken and bloody Dexter Vaughn. But the pain of having staked his own father was worse then the broken bones and shattered ribs. He spent a lot of time in the hospital and even more time in the psych ward after he attempted to leap from the roof. Since then his only thought has been to fight and kill vampires and everything else that isn't human. He's lost everything, all he has left really is his own life and he's not afraid to lose that too. Extra: Dex is always armed, a stake, a couple knives and a revolver with silver bullets on his person at almost all times. In his car there are a few more weapons and some book that belonged to his father and a few of Ned's. He also has a case of water bottles each blessed by a priest. Dex has never met another slayer but he's always wanted to, he feels like just knowing one would make him feel closer to his mother.

Dexter had been driving for nearly full twenty four hours to get to this town. He's heard a few disturbing things from a vampire he'd interrogated in Las Vegas. Word on the demonic streets was that a super powerful demon wanted to open a gate to hell and needed a slayer to do it. Dex couldn't resist, so he drove all the way here. The floor of his car was littered with cans of energy drinks and packages of caffeine pills. Not that this was anything new to him, Dex rarely got a good day's sleep but that was fine with him, sleep was for babies and old people. He passed a sign welcoming him to The Middle of Fucking Nowhere, Montana. His stomach growled telling him he needed to get something to eat. He started thinking about cheeseburgers and wished he hadn't blown all his cash on alcohol in Vegas. He looked around for someplace to leave his car and ended up parking by some grocery store before grabbing what he needed from his trunk. Before he ate he wanted to get some good kills in, he'd heard this town had a vamp problem and he hoped the rumors were true. His hand gun, filled with silver bullets, was holstered at his side even though it was probably too early for a werewolf he liked to have it with him. He had his permit, well a nicely forged one, for the thing in his jacket pocket in case some cop hassled him. He had a nice in his boot and a stake in his jacket pocket. He grabbed a bottled water, holy water blessed by a priest dressed as Elvis he'd met in Vegas.
He wandered through the deserted streets when he felt the earth shake. His first thought was that it had to have been an earthquake but in the middle of Montana that didn't seem likely. Clearly it was the forces of darkness up to no good again. He ran into a newborn vamp in the cemetery but that was more like squashing a bug and not a real fight. He was starting to think the rumors of this town was a bunch of crap when he saw what looked like a vampire and a snake got together, had a baby and then someone beat that baby with an ugly stick. He watched as the ugly vamp threw some woman into a dumpster and was about to jump in and help but stopped. The way the woman stood and starred down the vampire made is pretty clear that she was a slayer, a normal human would've run away screaming or stood frozen not take a battle stance. He wondered if the slayer even wanted help, personally he'd get pretty ticked if some stranger jumped in the middle of one of his fights. “Hey babe you need a hand dusting Mr. Ugly here or ya got this one covered?” He asked.

Spike looked over at Dru and grinned. He could tell she was trying to focus on one of her visions so he turned the radio down and kept quiet so she could concentrate. He looked back at the road and he already knew he was going to hate Montana, he even hated the word Montana. The whole small country town was not his scene. He missed the cities, like London or New York things were so much more interesting. He glanced back at Dru when she spoke. “You know love I'm betting you could use someone to eat, it'll help you think better.” He offered as he looked around hoping to see some human dumb enough to be wandering around alone tonight. Sure Rainer had wanted to see them first thing but he wasn't about to take orders from some demon.

Name: Kuro Age: twenty-four real age: she's not ancient. ;D Species: Vampire Powers: well funny thing you should mention it but she can control Lava, and don't let her kiss you or your lungs will turn on fire. Good luck, if that happens but luckly she's currently wearing a ring that nulls it. Personality: she can be a fun person to be around when she's not hungry or annoyed by a stupid vampire or something. She can be the very definition of a wild child. She has a poor attention span when something is really picking at her mind. She is often found by herself just thinking at the graveyard. Appearance: History: she's been in montana for about a month and has already met grimm and ran into Cici a few times, who just froze at the site of her. She's been pressuring Cici to just buckle up and be a girl. There's not much to her history, or so she thinks. She's been training to fight her own kind for awhile now. She heard about Cici and made her way to Montana. Extra: she's always wearing gloves when handling wooden stakes, carries guns and stuff. She already knows silver bullets work well on humans but only did that for self defense.

Kuro found herself far away from Grimm’s house, she was making her rounds on the other side of town when she heard the ground shake and she already figured out how high Cinnamons curiosity level is at. She let out a sigh, she really hoped that Cici would just do like normal and run back into safety of Grimm’s house. She was souly focused on keeping Cici safe and was already tired of it but that didn’t mean she was going to give up. She was too stubborn for that. She started walking back towards Grimm’s house and then saw the ugly vampire demon thing along with two vampire slayers. Fuck, she was fixing to have to protect herself when she heard a loud scream that hurt her vampire senses but she already knew who’s those screams was from. So she took off running towards that direction.
When Cici came into view, she saw that she was being a victim of four vampires all in the middle of her. She went into vampire speed doing a few cartweels and a front flip into the circle with the young naïve slayer, “This will probably not be the last time I’m saving your ass.” she said, glancing behind her then instructed her to grab her shoulder. She made her arms in an x form over her chest as lava began to form under their feet and then flung them outward as lava enduff around them and landed on them, she knew that would most likely not kill them, it was just pissing them off and then stabbed them through the lava with her wooden stake. “now that wasn’t so hard, cici, now was it?” she said, with a sarcastic flare on it. She glanced around to see if there was more vampires to fend off, “I saw some slayers, I’m sure they either saw me or sensed me around.” she said, adding, “If they stake me, do not get yourself killed. I will come back as a ghost and I’ll bring you back to life and beat you ghost style.” she playfully teased, trying to lighten the mood. Cici just smiled, a little shaken up and then she added, “There’s this demon vampire thing, you might want to go inside. It’s big kid play.” she informed Cici which she could already tell that it annoyed her.

Rattlesnake had been stalking a rather delicious young blonde who he'd seen stumble out of a bar about ten minuets ago. He loved drunk women, it was his favorite food the alcohol really added some flavor to the blood. Even though she was only a few feet away he could smell the humans scent and that slight hint of fear. She knew she was being followed but clearly didn't have the sense to run. He dropped down from the rooftop he'd been perched on and landed on his feet without making a sound. He followed the woman on foot walking just a bit faster than she did until he was less than an arms length away. His face changed and bared his fangs just as she turned around. The woman let out a scream, Rattlesnake had never heard a human voice make a sound that high. He grabbed the human and laughed and just before he could be bit someone grabbed him from behind and tossed him into the alley.
“You should run now.” He heard the voice say, and then he heard the sound of his food running away. Rattlesnake knew that voice and he snarled with anger as he jumped to his feet.
Valentine had been in Montana for about hour now and it was clear he was in the right place. This town was a dark place, he could feel the energy and it was definitely not good. He walked around the town for a bit, until he spotted Rattlesnake hunting a woman who appeared to be a bit inebriate. He followed Rattlesnake and jumped in to stop him before he bit anyone.
“Valentine,” Rattlesnake snarled as he ran at him, grabbed him and threw him into a wall. “You made me lose my dinner.” He grabbed Valentines shirt and punched him in the face. Val kicked the other vampires legs out from under him and then managed to flip himself back up to his feet. Val growled as his own face changed just as Rattlesnake flipped himself back on his feet. The two vampires fought, not for the first time and probably not for the last time. Neither of the them had a stake and there didn't appear to be anything made of wood in the alley so it wasn't likely that this fight would end in a dusting.

Ryder headed out of his motel room just after sun set and headed out into the town. He'd been in Montana for about a week now just getting a feel for the town, lying low and trying to figure out what to do. This town had some serious dark energy and he knew some big players had been headed here. There had been some sort of supernatural earthquake earlier and he'd felt some seriously dark magic then. The time for waiting around was over and he wanted to figure out what was going on here and put a stop to it. He heard a scream and sprinted in that direction, he got there just in time to see a woman raise lava and kill several vampires. There was another woman there town, blonde, and looked a bit frightened. He watched the dark haired woman, she could be the dark power he felt in this town, he certainly felt power from here. “So what are you supposed to be, Magma?” He asked, he was prepared to fight although he was kind of hoping these ladies were white hats, they had killed a few vamps which was always a good sign.

Xandra kept her focus on the. . . well, she was going to call it a vampire, but in all honestly she wasn't sure what the hell it was. It was obviously part vampire, but the snake part threw her a little. But it again, it didn't really matter what it was, did it? It was obviously evil and needed to be put down. That was Xandra's specialty. The thing hissed at her again, and Xandra threw one of the switch blades from her belt at him. He ducked out of the way just in time, and Xandra was just planning her next move when she heard a male voice. Her head snapped in his direction, which might have been a mistake except that vampire/snake man looked towards him at the same time as well.
She gritted her teeth on the 'babe' part. She hated being called babe, or chick, or anything like that. But since it wasn't a good time for a lecture, she let it go. At least for the moment. She did, however, raise an eyebrow at him. He didn't appear surprised to see Mr. Ugly, as he'd called the vampire/snake man. So he had obviously dealt with other creatures before. And he'd used the term 'dusting' not kill. But her gut was telling her that he was human. But maybe with a little something extra. Another slayer, perhaps? She didn't have time to try to figure it out right now, so she dismissed it for the time being. If Mr. Vampire Snake didn't kill her, then she could figure it out later. If he did, then it really matter, did it?
"I got it. But if you have any brilliant idea on a quick way to dust him, feel free to throw it out there," she said dryly. Xandra was never one to ask for help, and she didn't intend to start anytime soon. And truthfully, she was pretty sure she could handle the thing. But she did make a notice that he'd actually asked her if she needed help, and didn't just assume she needed it. Which was a damn good thing because Xandra probably would have ended up kicking his butt. If there was one thing she couldn't stand, it was for someone to assume she couldn't handle something. With that, she quickly looked back to the creature in question.
The vampire/snake man let out a dark chuckle, looking from Xandra to the new boy. "Two Slayers? Hmmm, maybe I'll drain one of you and save the other for later. Since Slayer blood is so rare to find and all," he said.
Xandra rolled her eyes. "Yeah, that's original," she grumbled. When he lunged at her again, Xandra dodged him, ducking to the side and bringing her foot up, hitting him in the stomach. Then just quickly pulling her dagger out of her belt and stabbed it into the vampire's shoulder. The wood stake to the heart hadn't worked, so she would have to try to take another approach. The vampire turned in a blur of a movement, slicing his nails across Xandra's cheek and knocking her to the ground. She landed with a curse and looked up in time to see the vampire do one of those freaky jumps and jump onto the top of the building behind her.
Xandra climbed to her feet, wiping the blood off her cheek with the back of her hand. She got a weird feeling up her spine, like there was another vampire nearby. But only for a second, it disappeared pretty quickly, and before Xandra had a chance to look for him or her. She didn't bother, because while it felt like a vampire, she wasn't getting that danger feeling she got when the vampire was evil. The back of her neck tingled, like when someone was behind her, and Xandra followed her gut, suddenly dropping down to the ground as the creature jumped off the roof and landed behind her. It swung it's claws at where her head had been, but just barely missed. Before it had time to react, Xandra kicked her foot out, knocking it's legs out from under it and then just as quickly she pulled the sickle out of one of her bag, swinging it and cleanly cutting through the vampire/snake man's neck. As he crumbled into dust, Xandra sighed and climbed to her feet. At least it had turned to dust. She hated having to dispose of the leftovers. Shaking the dust off her sickle, she shoved it back into her bag and turned to face the new guy. "See, said I had it," she said. A little voice in the back of her head told her that she should thank him for offering, but Xandra quickly squished it. She didn't thank people unless she had to.
Now, was the question time. "Name's Xandra. Now who the hell are you? A slayer? Or what?" she asked bluntly. Well, Xandra never was one to beat around the bush, after all. But no sooner than the words were out of her mouth, a movement caught her attention out of the side of her eyes. On instinct, Xandra moved. But instead of ducking, she lunged forward, tackling the guy to the ground. Just as they hit the ground, something sailed through the air, right past where he had been standing, and slammed into the building. Xandra scrambled to her feet, pulling the guy up with her and looked in the direction the weapon had came from. A man stood there, and while he looked mostly normal, his coal black eyes told Xandra he was a demon.
"Rainer worked hard to bring that guy back. He's gonna be pretty pissed you killed him," the man said. Then with that, disappeared in a proof of black smoke.
Xandra sighed, blowing her bangs out of her eyes. "Like I'm suppose to care," she grumbled. Though hearing that Rainer, a powerful demon, from what she'd heard, had brought Mr. Snake back, wasn't exactly comforting. Xandra turned and walked over, yanking the object the man had thrown out of the wall and inspected it. It was sort of like a switch star, except for the fact that it was made of bone. Bone that had been sharpened into deadly sharp edges. Xandra frowned at it, and decided she should keep it to show to Grimm. Shoving it into her bag, she looked back to the new boy, waiting on him to answer her question.

Dru pursed her lips and sank down in her seat a little. "Hmmm, maybe," she murmured. Dru wasn't sure if eating would help her visions or not. Lately it seemed like nothing helped them. But, Dru could never turn down a bite to eat. Especially if she could find someone with AB Negative and a dash of alcohol. That was her favorite treat. "Alright, let's find someone to eat," she said. Sitting up straight in her seat, Dru looked out the window, looking for a possible dinner, or at least a place to pull over and look for someone.
Dru went quiet for a moment, watching empty, dark buildings pass by. Then she grinned when she spotted a bar. There were some cars in the parking lot, and she spotted two girls at the far end of the parking lot. They looked to have just came out of the bar, and was stumbling towards their car. She couldn't see anyone else in the parking lot, perfect. "Look over there, Spike. I think I see some dinner," she said, pointing in the direction of the girls she'd spotted, so that he knew to pull the car over.

Grimm had just gotten a couple of books picked up when he heard some kind of commotion going on outside. Frowning, Grimm laid the books he'd picked up down on the couch and made his way to the front door. Looking outside, he looked out just in time to see Cici being surrounded by vampires. Cursing under his breath, Grimm turned and grabbed his stake off the pocket of his jacket that was hanging by the door and opened the door and headed out.
A single vampire, Grimm could handle well enough. Though because he was getting older, he could just barely handle one. Two, was pushing it. And four. . . four would be way out of his limit. But, he would do what he could to help Cici. Even though truthfully he wished Cici would learn to handle vampires herself. A mature slayer, could easily handle four vampires without breaking a sweat. He didn't have that kind of hope for Cici at the moment. At least, not yet. If she trained, perhaps she could learn to.
As Grimm got outside, he was just in time for Kuro's lava show, killing the vampires. Grimm sighed, relaxing his shoulders and sliding the stake into his tweed jacket. He hadn't met Kuro all that long ago, and he was naturally cautious of vampires. However so far, Kuro seemed to be a good one. Which, while rare to come across, wasn't unheard of. Grimm had met a small handful of good vampires, so he knew it was possible. And considering the fact that she tended to keep saving Cici. Grimm was slowly trusting her.
Before Grimm could approach the girls, another person joined in. A man came up, asking Kuro what she was suppose to be. Grimm raised an eyebrow at him. He wasn't surprised by the scene, so he was obviously familiar with magic and vampires. Grimm hadn't seen him before, so he assumed he must have been new to town. And considering everything Grimm had been hearing, he wanted to be careful of who was around Cici.
Grimm cleared his throat, and walked over, stopping a few feet away from Cici. "Cici, I told you not to go outside alone," he said, sighing. As much as Grimm wanted Cici to learn how to fight for herself, he didn't want her getting herself killed because she wasn't ready to handle a vampire. He looked over to Kuro, giving her a light nod of his head and a small smile. "Thank you, Kuro, for helping," he said.
Then he looked over towards the new arrival. He considered speaking to him, but decided against it for the moment. The man had spoken to Kuro and Cici, and Grimm wasn't going to interrupt before they could answer. Coughing as she waved a towel towards the window and trying to clear the smoke out of the kitchen, Jinx heard someone knocking on the front door. She had a feeling she already knew who it was. Leaving the kitchen and quickly walking through the house, and continuing to cough, she reached the front door and opened it. Sure enough, she found Logan standing there. Jinx had earned her nickname well, and Logan always tended to come over when she had an incident with a potion or something. Needless to say, Logan was over a lot.
Opening the door and coughing again, a trail of smoke leaking into the living room from the kitchen, Jinx grinned at Logan. "No the house isn't on fire. It was just a smoke bomb that crashed on the ground with the earthquake. Which, by the way, I so did not do. This time. I don't think," Jinx rambled as she opened the door. Shaking her head and making her blonde hair swing around her face, she tilted her head to look up at Logan. "You want to come in?" she asked, stepping out of the way so he could.
