Kuro could already sense other creatures around a watcher, who she later saw that it was Grimm and something else nonhuman, who called her Magma, “I guess, you can call me that.” she said, with a light shrug, adding, “but most people call me Kuro. I’m a vampire, obviously.” she said, flashing her fangs. Then she slightly tilted her head, “And yes, I do kill most of my own kind.” she said, like it wasn’t a big deal.
Cinnamon glanced over at the guy that called Kuro Magma, she was still flustered about her almost life ending experience. But that commented did make her let out a giggle, “Kuro just likes a show, obviously.”
“I didn’t think anyone was around, plus your safe now, so hush.” Kuro said, playfully rolling her eyes, making Cici let out a giggle.
Cici heard Grimm get on to her and her head automatically went down, turning it and slowly looking up to him, “I heard something.” she said, with a light smile.
Kuro heard Grimm’s thank you, glancing towards him giving him a slight nod, “No problem” she replied to him, she put her wooden stakes back in her pack and took off her leather gloves, folding her arms over her chest.
Cici couldn’t help but still quick glances towards the strange man, because her curiously level was sky high.

Logan didn’t wait very long to see the door opening as he saw Jinx’s figure, and noticed smoke was slowly vanishing in the background, where the kitchen was. He also noticed that she was grinning, which made his worried look disappear into a light smile and let out a low chuckle while listening to her telling him what happened and it wasn’t her fault. “Alright, well that’s believable since that earthquake seemed pretty powerful.” he replied to her, mini ramble
Hearing her ask him to if he wanted to come in, slowly nodding his head but inside it just made his anxiety level raise up. He was pretty excited every time he got the chance of hanging out with her. “Yeah, that’ll be nice.” he said, while doing his little nod. Then noticed that she stepped out of the way, and he took a few steps until he was inside and she could close the door if she wanted, “So help you with the smoke or whatever it is we can do?” he suggested, with a smile.

Ryder raised an eyebrow when Kuro admitted to being a vampire that killed it's own kind. “A vampire that fights for the white hats, nice.” He said nodding, it was always good to have help beating back the forces of darkness. He looked over at the blonde and smiled. He'd heard the old guy, who from the lecture he was giving must be her father or something, called her Cici. “The name's James, Ryder James; Wizard Extraordinaire.” He said grinning as he took his fedora off and gave a slight bow. He turned towards the older man and extended his hand. “I'm afraid I didn't catch your name sir.” He asked hoping to ingratiate himself with this group of vampire hunters.

Dexter shrugged when she said she didn't need help so he stayed to watch, it would be interesting to see a slayer fight. It was impressive enough, she probably faired better than he would but he didn't have any super strength or anything. He was a bit perplexed by her question and also by the vampire things statement about two slayers. Did he smell like a slayer or something? Technically his blood was half slayer but he was basically a human just had better instincts but he thought that was mostly from practice.
“A slayer? Do I look like a girl to you? I mean seriously what about me says chick?” He asked half teasing, he really hoped she wasn't serious with that question. He continued to talk even as some demon appeared and Xandra tackled him. “Or maybe you need to catch up on your handbook, guys can't be slayers. Though I think a guy slayer would be badass. Like...like if there was this ninja, a guy slayer would be like, you may be silent, but this'll shut you up. Hiya” He said starting to ramble a bit before throwing in a karate chop at the end to prove a point. He paused for a second, there was supposed to be a point here...right an introduction. “I am Dexter Vaughn, Rogue Demon Hunter, specializing in dusting the undead, beheading demons and putting silver bullets into lycanthropes. But I really don't like to brag about it.” He said with a nonchalant shrug, actually he loved bragging “Anyway I've seen my share of evil beasties but what the fuck was that?” He asked gesturing to the pile of dust that used to be one ugly vampire. “So where's a good place to go to get a good kill around here?”

Spike as glad when Dru agreed, he was starving and he needed to eat someone soon. “Bloody brilliant.” He said grinning as he drove up and parked the old car near the prey Dru had spotted. He reached towards the back seat to grab a map, Dru's cat was sleeping on it and hissed at him when he pulled the map out from under it. He struggled to resist the urge to hiss back and show that cat his fangs were bigger. But he knew Dru wouldn't like it so instead he gave the little fur ball a look and got out of the car.
“Excuse me love,” He said making an attempt to be a bit charming. “We're a bit lost here I was hoping maybe you could help.” He asked distracting the girls so Dru could sneak up on them. It didn't take long for him to get directions to Rainer's house, which they called that creepy haunted place. He started to fold the map up when one of them asked if he needed help with anything else.
“Well there is one thing.” He said as his face changed. The woman sreamed as he grabbed her by the neck. “I am feeling a bit hungry.” He added before sinking his fangs into her neck.

Valentine limped away from the fight, bruised and bloody but still looked a lot better than Rattlesnake did. He used his shirt to wipe some of the blood and sweat from his face. As he did his face changed back into it's human look, he didn't want to scare the locals. He felt the thirst in the back of his throat, a craving for blood so strong he could barely keep his face looking human. God, how long had it been since he'd eaten? Well over a day and the fight had really worked up an appetite. He need to find a butchers shop like now, and after that he'd try to track down Lexi and figure out what she was up too that she was trying to keep him out of. He walked for a while crossing the street when he saw someone walking towards him, he knew he looked crazy but he never wanted to take the chance that he could slip up and hurt someone.
Breaking into the butcher shop was cake, there security system could've been hacked by anyone with half a brain. He drank the blood there, walking around sipping on a bag of blood tended to draw unneeded attention. Afterwords he left some cash on the counter and locked the place back up before he left. Grabbing a bite would be easy enough now all he needed to do was track down Lexi, which usually meant look for some vampire's or demons causing trouble. He figured he's trying a cemetery or two and if that didn't work there was probably a local bar or night club worth checking out.

Xandra blinked at New Boy, or as he'd actually introduced himself as, Dexter Vaughn. He was a rambler. Great, as if Xandra's head wasn't already pounding. Someone rambling tended to make her headaches even worse. She raised an eyebrow slightly at the little karate move he threw in. Oh, a bragger and a show-off. When he finally paused to a take a breath, or at least she assumed the reason he'd stopped rambling, Xandra paused for a second before answering, tilting her head to the right and studying him for a moment. Something about his reaction to the Slayer question made her curious, but she couldn't figure it out, and decided to pass it off as her suspicious nature kicking in. With everything Xandra had seen, she couldn't help but just be suspicious of anyone she came across. His tone had been more teasing than anything, so there wasn't any clues there. Maybe he'd just thought she was trying to insult him. Xandra didn't always come across as the nicest person in the world, after all.
Finally, Xandra shrugged her shoulders. "I know all the dirty little secrets they don't put in the handbook, but I did meet a male slayer once. He was a slayer by default, actually. His twin sister was the Slayer, but she died on their sixteenth birthday and the Slayer thing got passed on to him. He got killed two months later. Exactly why males shouldn't be Slayers. They don't last," Xandra said dryly. Deciding to drop the subject, Xandra moved on.
The Rouge Demon Hunter made her curious. Usually people only got mixed up in this life because they got dragged into it. However, Xandra had her own deep, dark secrets, so she respected others'. And she knew she'd kick someone's ass if they tried to find them out. So she skipped over that part. Even though she got the feeling he did, in fact, like to brag, despite his saying that he didn't. "As for that thing," Xandra started. She turned around and frowned towards the pile of dust before looking back to Dexter. "I've been a Slayer for sixteen years, but I have never seen anything like that. So I don't know what the hell it was. It's dead, so it doesn't matter," she said with a shrug. But that couldn't have been farther from the truth of how she felt about it. She had every intention of speaking to Grimm about it and trying to figure out what it was. When something so. . . weird, like that turned up, it made Xandra wonder what was up. And considering that there had been that weird supernatural earthquake, the smell of surfer and then that thing showing up; Xandra had a sinking feeling that whatever it was had been released by the earthquake. Or maybe had caused it. She didn't know, but she thought they had to be connected somehow. Xandra wasn't going to tell Dexter about Grimm at the moment, though. Xandra tended to be protective of the old man, as she liked to call him. And she knew that Cici was staying with him. And the last thing Xandra was going to do was lead a total stranger right to the newly found Chosen One.
As for Dexter's last question, Xandra sighed and ran her hand through her hair. "I'm the wrong person to ask that. I just got here less than. . . I don't know. Fifteen minutes ago. Got straight off the bus, the Earthquake happened, and then ran into freaky dude and then you got here," Xandra said. Xandra had told Grimm that she'd go to his house after she got there. . . but she had wanted to check out the local cemeteries first. Since the Slayer here wasn't doing nightly rounds, Xandra felt like she should until the New Girl got trained. And, Xandra wanted to keep an eye on Dexter, figure out if he was telling the truth or up to something else. Her gut was telling her he wasn't a bad guy. But you could never be too careful. If she felt he were telling the truth, then Xandra decided she'd take him with her to Grimm's. It was one of Xandra's faults; she couldn't just leave someone roaming on their own. She figured she'd take him to Grimm, let Grimm keep an eye on him. A pang of guilt hit her again, remembering that she'd left Valentine on his own. But she reminded herself she'd done so to protect him. And really. . . he was a vampire. He'd been around long before her, and would be around long after she was gone, he could handle himself.
"I was going to head out and check some of the cemeteries. See if there's any newborn vamps roaming," she said. She gave him a once over. "If you think you can handle yourself, you can tag along. But if I have to save your butt, I'll kick it after I do," she warned. Though Xandra tried to lighten her tone up to be more of a teasing/challenging tone than anything. Without waiting for an answer, Xandra walked past him and out of the ally. She stayed quiet, walking down the streets. Grimm had told her that the town had three cemeteries. In a town this small, it shouldn't be too hard to find them, right? Sure enough, a couple of blocks later, Xandra spotted a cemetery. The sign on the gate said it was "Eternal Peace Gardens'. Xandra snorted at the name. Little did they know.
Jumping the fence was easy, it was only a little chain link fence. As she made her way through the graveyard, she checked out the graves. Most of them looked to be old graves, so she passed by them. "Waste of time," she muttered under her breath. But, as Xandra reached the other end of the graveyard, she spotted fresh graves. As she got closer, Xandra saw that there was five fresh graves in a row. And, each grave had a telling hole over them, where the newborn vampire had escaped. Great. Frowning, she took a closer look at the tombstones. The last names were all the same, and the date of deaths were the same as well. Weird. Shouldn't have surprised her, weird seemed to be the topic of the night. Sighing, Xandra scanned the graveyard. A movement catching her eye on the far end. Two of the newborn vampires. Another movement to the right caught her eye, turning her head she spotted the other three newborns. Sighing again, Xandra turned and looked towards Dexter. "You want to take the two?" she asked. Without waiting for a response, Xandra turned and took off in the direction of the the group of three.

Name: JackAge: OldSpecies: DemonAppearance: Personality: Jack has a very cold, impassive personality. He mostly does what he's told to do by Rainer, and will do whatever he has to to accomplish it. He doesn't care who gets hurt, it's not his problem. He despises humans, slayers, and anyone that helps slayers. He also doesn't like vampires and usually looks down on them. There's nobody better than demons, as far as he's concerned.History: Jack has worked for Rainer for a very long time, for at least five centuries. Maybe longer, he's lost count. During that time, Jack has been Rainer's right hand demon, doing whatever Rainer tells him to do and doing it to the best of his ability. He wouldn't have lasted with Rainer if he wasn't good at his job, after all. Before working for Rainer, there's not much known about Jack's past. And since working for Rainer, Jack has gained a reputation of being almost as evil as his boss.

Dru turned her head, shifting in her seat to look towards the back seat when Spike reached back and got the map out from underneath her cat, Shadow. Shadow hissing at Spike for waking him up and pulling the map out from under him. Dru clicked her tongue at the cat. "Be nice, Shadow," Dru scolded. Not like the cat would actually listen, but Dru usually tended to talk to the cat like he would. At least Spike hadn't hissed back at the cat this time. Dru hated when the two had a hissing contest. Spike usually won, but then Shadow would pout for days on end.
Dru stayed in the car for a moment, waiting while Spike got the girls' attention by asking them for directions. Then quietly slipped out of the car herself, sneaking up behind the girls without being overheard. She grinned, hearing that Spike had gotten the directions to Rainer's house. Smart. Dinner and directions. As Spike's face changed and the girl screamed, Dru allowed her own face to change. As Spike grabbed one of the girls, the other turned to run and Dru grabbed her. "Oh, but the fun is just getting started," Dru said, right before she sank her fangs into the girl's neck.
When Dru had finished draining the girl dry, she let go of her and let the girl slump to the ground. Dru never liked to clean up those pesky little messes. And her and Spike would be most likely be gone soon enough anyway. All they had to do was go to Rainer's, find out what this job was, do it, and then move on to the next place. Personally Dru couldn't wait to get out of Montana. She hated the state just from the name alone. And there wasn't anything fun to do in a place with a name like Montana. Hmm. . . maybe she found talk Spike into going back to London. Or New York. Or maybe somewhere in California.
Spike had been right, after she'd ate her head did feel a bit clearer. The headache was gone anyway. "Brilliant ideas, by the way. Dinner and directions," Dru said grinning.
"Well, I'm sure Rainer won't think so," a male voice said.
Dru turned, and found a dark haired man standing a few feet away. She tilted her head at him. Demon, she was pretty sure. "And why is that?" she asked. Though truthfully, Dru didn't really care.
"Because he's getting impatient waiting," Jack said, gritting his teeth. He looked from Dru to Spike. "You two are late. And Rainer doesn't like to be kept waiting," he said. Crossing his arms over his chest, he smirked at them. "But hey, if you want to lose out to Rattlesnake, what is it to me?" Jack taunted. That was the whole reason Rainer had picked Rattlesnake, Spike and Dru. Dru hated Rattlesnake, and Spike and Rattlesnake appeared to be enemies. What better way to motive them to do the job quicker, then to try to beat the other to punch?

Grimm sighed when Kuro revealed her fangs to the new arrival. He didn't say anything because it was her business if she wanted to announce what she was, but it went against Grimm's nature to just tell a total stranger what you were. It could be dangerous to tell the wrong person the wrong thing. But then again, the guy obviously was in the know about what was going on. He'd have probably figured it out sooner or later that Kuro was a vampire. And the guy, who soon introduced himself as Ryder James, a Wizard, seemed to not be that fazed by finding a good vampire. Well, maybe it wasn't that big a deal that Kuro had told him the truth about herself, then, Grimm thought.
When Ryder turned his attention towards Grimm, extending his hand and saying that he hadn't caught his name. Grimm blinked. Oh, right. "Grimm Night," he introduced himself, shaking the other man's hand. As Grimm pulled his hand away, he tried to decide if he should add what he was. Normally, he wouldn't have. But, what the hell. It seemed a little late for secrets. "I'm a Watcher," Grimm added. "And this, is Cinnamon. Cici is my charge, and a new Slayer," Grimm explained. As far as everyone but Grimm, Xandra, the Watchers' Council, and a few people that had heard the rumors, knew Cici was just a regular Slayer. Grimm had yet to tell Cici that she was the Chosen One. Mostly because he wasn't sure how she'd handle it. But he knew he'd have to tell her soon. If the supernatural earthquake earlier had told Grimm anything, it was that time was running out before Rainer tried to get a hold of Cici. He was almost sure that the earthquake had been a direct result of Rainer doing something with dark magic.
Which in itself was enough reason to keep a close eye on Ryder. Grimm tried to be careful of anyone that got too close to Cici. Not wanting to risk that it was someone that had been sent by Rainer. In fact, the only people he trusted so far was Kuro, because of the way she kept showing up and saving Cici. Xandra, because he had known Xandra for a long time, and knew she'd do anything to protect Cici if it came down to it. And Valentine, since Grimm trusted Xandra's judgement on him. "What uh, what brings you here?" Grimm asked.

Rainer gritted his teeth, taping his fingers against the table in the alter in the basement. Jack had reported back to him that the vampire/demon creature he had just resurrected, had been killed by a Slayer. Needless to say, this pissed Rainer off to no end. All of that trouble, just to have the creature killed within a few moments. He'd have to deal with the Slayer later. But first, Rainer would conjure up something stronger and more powerful that wouldn't be killed as easily or quickly. Jack had also told him about someone else that had been there, a man that had the scent of Slayer blood. Weak, but Slayer blood nonetheless. Interesting. Rainer had never heard of a male with Slayer blood. As far as he knew, Slayers couldn't even be male.
He stood up from his chair and circled the alter, going to his book to start working on the next creature to resurrect. The next one would be a good one. Well, or bad, depending on how you looked at it.
After Jack had reported back to him, he'd sent him to track down Spike and Dru, and Rattlesnake. The vampires should have been here by now and Rainer was getting impatient. He didn't like to be kept waiting, and he wanted the vampires to get Cinnamon as soon as possible. He wanted the girl to open the Gate To Hell, and he wanted her now. And who better to bring her to him, then two vampires who hated each other as much as Spike and Rattlesnake? Surely their rivalry would encourage them to bring the girl to him quickly. If that didn't work, then perhaps Rainer would up the stakes a bit. He could always have Jack bring Dru to him. Then tell Spike and Rattlesnake that whoever brought Cici to him would get Dru. Then, Rainer decided, if that didn't work, he'd just have to kill all three of them and find someone else.
In the meantime, Rainer started on the spell to resurrect the next creature. With all of the dark magic surrounding the Gate To Hell, he could resurrect as many as he needed to get his plan accomplished. This time, he also decided, as he began the chant. He'd send the next creature directly after the Slayer that had killed the last one. Not only was he angry over that, but he needed to be rid of the Slayer quickly, before she taught Cinnamon how to fight and defend herself.

Jinx grinned and let out a light chuckle when Logan said that it was believable that she hadn't caused the earthquake. But then frowned. "Well, I could have. I do have some powers," she said, pouting. Which only lasted for a second. mostly because in reality Jinx knew that nobody would believe she were powerful enough to cause something like that. Hell, she didn't even believe it. She knew she was no where near being that powerful. Potions, she could do. Casting spells. . . she could barely do that. They usually went wrong somewhere along the way. Causing an earthquake was why out of her range. And besides, why would she want to cause an earthquake? That wasn't any fun and just annoyed people.
Shaking off the thoughts, she closed the door behind Logan. At his question, Jinx's smile returned. "That would be great, thanks. If my parents get home and see the smoke, they'll freak. Well, not really, I think they're use to it, but they hate when I fill the house with smoke," she rambled. "If you could just help me open a few windows, please? There's some in the living room. I'll get the one in the hallway. I think it's almost gone so that should do it. If you want we could go for a walk while the smoke clears out. I was wanting to go check on Cici anyway," Jinx rambled, all without taking a breath as she headed off down the hallway to open the window she'd been talking about.

Kuro heard Grimms sigh against her admiting that she was a vampire, she loved that he had little faith in what she was doing. It was almost cute, almost. Then she heard Ryder introduce himself, ”Well it’s nice to meet you, Wizard Man.” she said, playfully teasing him. She glanced towards Cici when she heard her talking.
Cici smiled back towards Ryder, with a light blush, “yeah, nice to meet you.” and she heard Grimm introduce himself and waited for them to let go hands, before stepping towards him, “Hey” she said, with a smile when she noticed that Grimm introduced her for her. It seemed like that was the first time that he used titles, today was an odd night for her.
Kuro then tited her head and waited for everything to go quiet before she said, “Before I got her, there was this girl with a demon monster vampire looking guy and some black haired guy, but he wasn‘t exactly familiar smelling just a faint smell of slayer or something.” with a small shrug, “I didn’t stay long, I really didn’t feel like arguing with people.” then smiled with a light giggle, “Do I need to go check on them?” she asked grimm, she figured being a watcher, he would know who those people was.
“I didn’t know guys could be slayers.” Cici said, with a questioning look, “I thought it was a girls think, I don’t mean to sound sexist but.. It’s unwritten, right? Or is it in that book?” she asked Grimm.
Kuro started looking around, her scents was on high alert especially with funny looking creatures coming to this town, that means a show down was about to happen, she just didn’t know which night it was.

Logan heard him and playfully rolled his eyes, “Nah, never. I don’t think anyone has powers.” he playfully teased. He did think her pouting was cute, but he wouldn’t admit it, that’d be social suicide. “Yeah, I’d like to see the potion that would cause a deadly earthquake, that would be pretty epic.” he added on his sarcastic comment with a more serious one.
When the door was closed, he heard the answer to his previously asked question and he kept his smile as he listened to Jinx’s answer. Then heard her own question, giving him something to do, he nodded, “Of course, have you introduced any vampires in your house?” he playfully teased, then on a lighter note, “I’ll get on that.” he answered her question. He walked towards the living room without another word, and started opening windows as the smoke started escaping the room from behind him. It was getting easier to breathe. Then she heard something about cici when they get done, he glanced behind him and nodded, “Checking on cici would be alright, so yeah, let’s go when we’re done.” Every window that he came across didn’t go without being left up and he walked back in the kitchen. “It’s kinda easier to breathe.” he playfully teased.

Dexter rolled his eyes. “Well I don't have any powers and I've been doing this for just over six years.” He said in response to her comment on how a guy slayer wouldn't last long. He thought to add that the brother had clearly lasted longer than his sister but decided against it in case the slayer was a friend of hers or something. He found it hard to believe she'd been a slayer for sixteen years, he wondered if maybe she was exaggerating, or possible bad at math. He was glad when she suggested they hit up the cemetery, sure newborn vampires weren't that big a challenge but it was a start. Today must have been his lucky day because there were several fresh new vampires at the cemetery. Xandra mentioned she better not have to save his butt and he chuckled a little.
“Seriously babe, I can handle a few newborns, wouldn't have lasted this long if I was that easy to kill.” He said before running off towards the pair of vampires. He dropped his water bottle down just before he reached the vampires. “Hey guys,” He said grinning as he pulled out his stake from the pocket of his jacket. “How do you like your steak.” He asked grinning from his own bad pun. The first vampire looked like a redneck with the stereotypical mullet haircut and the second vampire was either bald or had shaved his head just before being turned. The bald vampire snarled and charged towards him. Dex managed to land a few blows to his bald head knocking him back a few steps while the mullet with fangs came at him. Dex spun around and kicked the undead hillbilly in the ribs hard enough to hear a few cracks. The vampire fell onto his back just as the bald one gave him a hard kick to the gut followed by a haymaker that knocked him back onto his ass. He rolled to his side, away from the vampires and hopped back up to his feet.
“Is that all you got kid.” The vamp with the mullet asked.
“Oh I got plenty more.” He said as the vampire lunged towards him. Dex used the vampires momentum to flip him and then quickly staked him. “Come on baldy, I've better things to do tonight, let's finish this.” He said as the bald vampire circled him, more cautious after seeing his friend dusted. Dex figured the vampire wasn't going to make a move anytime soon and lunged towards him. Dex tackled the vampire knocking backwards and then delivered a series of hits to the things face as he tightly gripped the stake. A few seconds later his hand started to hurt so he staked the bald vamp and it crumpled into dust just as the first one had. He signed and stretched out his arms and he stood back up. He was pumped and ready for another fight, something with a bit more danger than some freshly fanged newborns.
It hadn't taken Val long to find Eternal Peace Gardens and like he figured he spotted Lexi fighting a few young vampires. It didn't look like she needed any help and he knew he'd get chewed out if he jumped in the middle of her fight. He looked over the cemetery and saw another guy dusting vampires. He felt jealous for a second, he wondered if he'd already been replaced. He was a bit curious about who this new guy was but it was always good to make a new ally. The guy finished his fight pretty quickly and well enough that Valentine guessed he'd had some training. He headed towards the guy who was picking up a water bottle from the ground. “Nice work there, I'm Valentine-” The vampire started to introduce himself when the guy turned around and flung the water in his face. He was confused for a second then it started to burn. “Oh goddammit.” He shouted as he tried to wipe the holy water from his face. Valentine hated holy water, it burned like hell. While he was trying to get the holy water off the guy hit in the face.
“We are on the same side.” Valentine growled his face changing in reaction to the pain.
“I don't think so Fangs, see I don't eat people-” Dex started to say.
“I don't eat people either.” Valentine shouted back, he couldn't really see but tried to keep the guy talking so he could hear him and stay away.
