Jinx rolled her eyes at Logan's comment about needing to sniff. "Well you'll just have to wait until later because I don't want to miss Cici," Jinx said, tugging Logan with her as she picked up the pace the closer she got to Grimm's house. Sure enough, as she reached it, she saw a group of people standing around. She recongized Cici, Grimm and Curo. But there was another guy there she didn't know.
Grimm stayed quiet while the others talked, until both Kuro and Ryder had agreed to go with them to check out the local graveyards. He nodded his head. "Alright, well then, let's-" he started to say but trailed off as he saw two people walking towards them. Oh, Jinx and Logan.
"Hi! Looks like we got here just in time!" Jinx said grinning.
"Evening, Jinx, Logan," Grimm said. "Uh, Ryder, this is Jinx and Logan. Witch and werewolf, in case you're curious. Guys, this is Ryder, a wizard," Grimm made the introductions and got it out of the way. "We were just heading out to a graveyard to check for any newborns vampires. You guys are welcome to come along as well. We can use all the help we can, as you already know," Grimm said.
"Of course! That's what we're here for!" Jinx said. Then she grinned at Ryder. "Nice to meet you, Ryder!" she added.
Grimm turned and started walking, assuming that the others would follow him. He had heard about the five brothers that had died suspiciously, and he expected that they would probably turn into newborns, so he had found out that they were buried at Eternal Peace Gardens. Which was the first place Grimm thought they should head. Sure, he wasn't that fond of the idea of facing five new vampires, but they had to take care of it before they hurt anyone. The graveyard wasn't that far from Grimm's house, so they made it there quick enough.
Once in the graveyard, Grimm began to look at the tombstones. All of them were older, and obviously not the ones that they were looking for. Moving a bit farther into the graveyard, Grimm spotted three people. One he recongized right away as being Xandra, and the other one was Valentine, he quickly noted. The third person, a man, didn't look familiar to Grimm. But he did, however, fit the description Kuro had gave him of the man that had been fighting alongside Xandra earlier. "Is that the guy you saw?" he asked, turning to Kuro.
However, no sooner than the words were out of Grimm's mouth, and before he had a chance to approach the trio, there was a sudden rumble of thunder, followed by lightning zipping across the sky. And then another earthquake. The ground shook violently under Grimm's feet, and he had a hard time trying to keep his balance. Then, just as quickly as it came, it stopped. The scent of sulfur filling the air. And then. . . Grimm saw it. Surrounding the edges of the graveyard was a small army of vampires. They didn't look to be newborns, either. There was about a dozen vampires, all with their faces fully vamped out and everything. Grimm had only barely spotted them, and didn't even have a chance to try to warn anyone before the group of vampires suddenly started rushing towards them.

Cinnamon continued to smile towards Ryder while listening to his advice, she would try to follow it but would probably freeze up because that was her first instinct was telling her. “I’ll try.” she replied back to him, but she wasn’t sure what she should do with it. She didn’t want to be a slayer, at all. She didn’t want to do anything that involved with vampires. But she didn’t like that she was constantly being protected by nice people. She had so many conflicting emotions.
Logan noticed that Jinx rolled her eyes at his comment and then heard what she said, he playfully rolled his eyes back at him, “Well darn, I gotta pee too.” he teased, because he really didn’t have to, at all. He kept in step with her until he came to a stop when the two of them reached the group,. He just kept quiet and let Jinx talk for them, “Yeah, sure.” he answered when Grimm asked if they wanted to go to the graveyard hunting with them. Of course, after Jinx had spoke for them. He noticed that there was a guy that he never met before who was then introduced as Ryder, a wizard. Interesting. And then noticed that Grimm had also introduced them and what species they was and he gave a slight wave towards them.
Cinnamon gave Jinx and Logan a wave and a grin, she was happy that her best friend and her future boyfriend was there. It was pretty neat. She walked in somewhere the middle while Kuro was walking kinda beside her but in the more backish area but she figured that was just her being in a body guard distance. She would be able to spring into life if something was coming at the side towards the young slayer. She almost let out a sigh, then noticed three people in the graveyard having some sort of discussion, she walked towards them and grinned, “Hi, I’m Cici and we have a good vampire, her names Kuro. Please don‘t kill her” she said, waving at the three of them and pointed towards her friend, Kuro. She noticed that one of them was a vampire and figured that he was valentine from when Grimm was trying to figure out what the new guy was suppose to be. Interesting.

Kuro mainly kept quite, for the remainder of the time. But she waved at Jinx and Logan when they arrived at the little group and noticed that Logan had responded with a wave back towards her. She followed everyone but was towards the back, she was in body guard mode, she was use to being in this mood. She could easily warn them or kill anything that was going to attack the group or most importantly Cici. She was going to go with Cici but Grimm caught her before she h ad the chance, too and heard his question and she gave him a nod, “Yeah, that’s him.” she answered him.
She didn’t fall when the earth shook, she had enough time to glance at Cici, who was having a hard time standing but was trying not to fall. Then she noticed Grimm was looking at someone or something, so she glanced towards that direction and mummer a string line of curse words. She had long enough time to put on her gloves to protect her hands from her weapons. She had to resist the urge to just turn the ground into lava but she realized that her ally’s wouldn’t appreciate that. And she figured that she might want to avoid that unknown guy before she got herself killed, he didn’t look too friendly too her. But she didn’t waste much time taking out a wooden stake and started staking vampires as they come and didn’t waste much time with the ash that soon followed. She got into a few fights but they didn’t last that long with her sneaky ablities.
She grabbed one by the back of the neck and flung it towards infront of her, and while she was at it, she threw lava at him out of anger.

Name: BeckettAge: Unknown, but appears to be about 30Species: UnknownAppearance: Human Appearance: One Of His Other Forms: Personality: Beckett has a very laid back and relaxed personality. Nothing ever seems to faze or bother him. He never loses his temper, and always seems to have an answer for almost anything. He has a lot of random knowledge locked away in his head and often likes to brag about little things. He's extremely sarcastic, but he's friendly. He tends to keep to himself, but he doesn't mind to help out others in need. He's a very curious person, he loves to figure things out. When something interests him, he sort of obsesses over it until he figures out everything about it. Sometimes this can go on for centuries.History: Beckett has been around for. . . well, nobody knows how exactly how long he's been around. He has a reputation for traveling the world and studying things. He'll pop in unexpected, ask questions about this or that. Help if it's needed somewhere, and then disappear off again to parts unknown. A lone wolf, he's called. Beckett is known for staying out of things, he doesn't like to involve himself in petty little arguments. He'll only help if it's something major and he feels the cause is worthy of his attention. Currently Beckett is highly curious about the rumors of this 'Chosen One' and that's why he goes to Montana. He wants to meet with her and see what she's like, what exactly she's suppose to be, and any other question that comes to mind. He also is curious about the rumors he's heard about the tiny town in Montana, about dark magic and a demon finding a way to access it. If that's true. . . well, Becket intends to try to help put a stop to it. That kind of dark magic shouldn't be messed with by anyone, as far as Beckett is concerned.Extra: Beckett likes to travel in the form of a white wolf, but he's clearly not a werewolf.

Dex rolled his eyes, he was not getting a lecture from the vampire loving vampire slayer. He knew enough to stay alive, his way had worked fine for the past six years. Plus he was starting to suspect that she had a thing with the vampire. That was just gross, like vomit inducing gross, why anyone would want to pall around with something dead was just so beyond his understanding. He did want to understand it, or think about it, because well it was creepy. He wasn't really sure why he was listening in on there conversation but he did, probably cause he was curious about what was going on in Montana too. Xandra mentioned a watcher and he rolled his eyes again. Great something else he didn't like.
Dex knew a few good watchers, his father was one after all, but most of them were useless. The Watchers Council had kicked his father out after he'd been conceived, and after his parents were killed the Council ignored his calls, wanting nothing to do with him. He had no respect for a bunch of old men that sat around reading books while sending peoples mothers and daughters to fight there battles. Watchers, what a perfect name for them as all they do is watch people die. Xandra and the vampire kept talking and Dex got bored and quit listening, then as if he hadn't met enough new people today more showed up. One of them was waving like an idiot and talking about their “good vampire” named Kuro. Great more vampires that he wasn't allowed to kill. He spotted an old man in a suit, clearly the Watcher, and he was going to go ahead and guess the other slayer who couldn't fight was the waver. There were two others he didn't recognize and then there was Ryder. Dex recognized him, they'd met twice the first Ryder had gotten a bit out of control with some dark magic and the second time he'd helped him take out a dark warlock. When it came to witches and warlocks Dex wasn't exactly found of them but there were a few who he could stand. Ryder was somewhere in between, but Ned had trusted him and that was enough for Dex. He was about to try and introduce himself when another earthquake happened. He managed to keep his footing well enough, and after the earthquake was over he was a small army of vampire's coming his way.
“So just to be clear I am allowed to kill these fangers right?” He asked sarcastically towards Xandra. He didn't wait for a response, he sprinted towards the nearest creature with fangs and gave it roundhouse kick. His kick knocked the vampire back a bit but it kept coming for him. Dex was ready for a real fight, he'd been craving it all night.

Valentine payed close attention as she brought him up to speed with everything that was going on in Montana. He didn't understand it, why she thought he couldn't handle this, he was over three hundred years old, he done fine before she was born and he can handle himself just as well as she could. If Grimm really had found the Chosen One this wasn't the kind of thing he wanted to be left out on, if someone was trying to open the hell mouth they would need all the help they could get. As for Griffin coming here, it made some sense, she clearly wanted him to stay out of her way when the two had it out. He was a bit surprised when she apologized, it wasn't an often occurrence, so he figured she must feel bad about it. Val shrugged, he didn't really hold grudges being around for a few hindered years and you learned to get over things like that, people make mistakes but it's just not worth it to dwell on it. “You know if you wanted me to stay out of your fight with Griffin all you have to do is say so. I can understand that, you want justice for what he took from you, I wouldn't want to stand in the way of that. I know better than anyone that you can handle yourself.” He said quietly, he wished things didn't feel so strained between them, he felt think there was more that she wasn't telling him but at least he knew some of it. He assumed she'd tell him the rest eventually. “You do remember that I am a three hundred year old vampire right? I was alive a few hundred years before you and managed to survive then so I would very much appreciate it if you would stop trying to leave me out of the action.” He said with a bit of playfulness in his voice, he didn't want her to think he was mad or anything because as far as he was concerned it was in the past, but he was hoping she wouldn't try to ditch him again next time something dangerous rolled into some town.
Before Val had time to say anything else the ground began to shake. At first he thought it was some kind of aftershock until a hoard of vampires started heading there way. He saw that Grimm had just made it to the cemetery with a small army himself. It was nice to have back up every now and then. His face changed, ready for the fight, except he still lacked a stake, he figured he'd improvise. He faced off against the who got the closest to him, blocking the other vampire's strikes while trying to slip a few hits in here and there. These were certainly not newborns.

As the ground began to shake Ryder struggled to remain standing. He wasn't doing a very good job and a jolt from the earthquake sent him bumping into Cici, his arm wrapped around her waist and he managed to keep his clumsiness from knocking them both to the ground. “Sorry.” He said when he realized he just invaded her personal space. He took his arm off her and managed to keep his balance as the earthquake finally ended. “Well it looks like you've got your chance for a fight, just try and trust your instincts and if you get into trouble I've got your back, plus you've Lava Girl on your side so these vamps are as good as dust.” He said trying to provide reassurance. He took a second to focus his energy into his hands, creating a small fireball that hovered just above his palm, took a second to be sure of his aim, not wanting to hit one of the vampires that were on their side and flung the ball of fire at a vampire charging towards him. The vampire as covered in flames but was smart enough to drop to the ground and roll the fire out. Before the vampire could get back on his feet Ryder had forced a nearby tree root to suddenly jut through the vampires heart turning it to dust. Another vampire charged to his left and Ryder sent an open palmed strike his way. Although his hand never touched the vampire the creature went flying backwards. Before he had time for a fireball the vampire was back on its feet.

Name: Vera Vaughn Age: 32 Species: Vampire/Slayer Power: Vera had all the strength, speed and stamina of a slayer before becoming a vampire, but after being turned her powers increased making her quite the dark force. Personality: Much like your average vampire only a bit more vicious. Like most vampire's Vera's soul left the moment of death and a demon's took control of the body. It has her looks, memories and even a few idiosyncrasies but it's obvious that she is a creature of evil. Ruthless and more than willing to play dirty, Vera is willing to do whatever it takes to win and to get what she wants. The slayer instincts and vampire instincts are constantly clashing in her head, driving her to insanity. One minute she'll stake a vampire to save a human, the next she'll kill the human herself. Currently she has begun to believe that if she feeds from slayers it will cure her madness and of course bring her more power. Appearance: History: Vera became a slayer a bit late at the age of 18, a few years later ended up married to her young watcher, David Vaughn. They had a young son who they trained to fight vampires as well. Anyway enough about the human life, Vera was killed and turned at the age of 32 and became the very creature she'd been hunting. As vampire Vera laid low for a while, slowly going crazy from the conflicting instincts. She knew David had been turned as well but the vampire wanted nothing to do with the human's old life and stayed away from him and the vampires that had turned him. This turned out to be a wise choice as not to long ago that group of vampires was killed by the human Vera's son Dexter. She's fairly sure he is unaware that she's risen but plans on killing him soon, so he'll probably find out then. Extra: I've got nothing right now, it's kind of a lazy bio but I'll fill in more details in game.

Rattlesnake rolled his when the Rainer snatched the the glass orb from him. Demons really had no sense of fun, they were all about there silly rules, do this, and don't do that. Rattlesnake wanted to go after Spike and Dru now, he'd rather kill them to make sure they didn't get the slayer before him. He wanted that gem, he wanted to kill someone in the middle of the day while the sun shown down on him. He had feeling that if he killed Spike and Dru before he grabbed the girl Rainer wouldn't give him those gems.
“Not to worry, sir,” Rattlesnake said, his words dripping with sarcasm. “I'll bring you the girl first thing, then I'll handle my own business. But just so we're on the same page, I can kill the other slayer and her pet if they get in the way right?” He asked grinning at the thought of tasting the slayers blood once more before he killed her. He also wanted to stake her vampire pet, it bothered him to no end to see a vampire killing it's own kind and working with a slayer. Rattlesnake never did get an answer to his question because Rainer had already left, probably to do more magic. Before he had left the demon said something about not touching anything. Just for fun he poked to the glass orb that was now back on its place on the shelf. The ball fell off and broke, which Rattlesnake found that amusing and pushed the broken glass into the corner. He assumed it would put the demon in an even worse mood and that seemed entertaining. As the demon came back up the stairs there was a knock at the door, more than likely it was Dru and her boy and that made Rattlesnake grin.
Spike nodded his head when he heard that Rattlesnake would be there, he'd have to control himself because every time he and Rattlesnake met a fight usually broke out and he knew that would only cause problems between him and his new demonic business partner. The door flew open and a very annoyed Rainer stood there asking them why they were late. Spike saw Rattlesnake standing behind the demon wearing one of those shit eating grins. Spike really wanted to punch that grin off his face but manadged to turn his attention back to Rainer.
“Late? Look demon boy this ain't some nine to five, I don't recall being given a specific sodding time to get here so you can stop acting like you own us and just tell us what you want us to do for you. Something you are clearly incapable of doing yourself otherwise you wouldn't have asked us to help you.” Spike shot back at Rainer, annoyed that this demon seemed to think he had a right to scold them like children.
Rattlesnake locked eyes with Dru and headed to the doorway. “Hello, my pet, your certainly looking lovely tonight.” He said softly, saying the words the same way one might say something threatening.

Name: GriffinAge: Unknown, but he's been around for a very long time.Species: VampirePowers: Griffin has the average vampire package; strength, speed and able to heal fast. Being so old, he can tolerate a little sunlight, but not direct, only under the cover of something. He also has the power of telekinesis. How he got that. . . well, you'll have to find out later.Personality: Griffin is cold, condescending, cocky, cruel, sarcastic, and pretty much anything else in that category. He loves torturing his victims in every way imaginable. He thinks its funny, and he causes as much pain as possible before finally making the kill. Sometimes he drags it out for several days, if at all possible. He also likes to mess with people's heads. Because he's an ancient vampire, he's highly arrogant and he doesn't really believe anyone can beat him in a fight. He hates Slayers with a passion, and anyone that helps them.Appearance: History: Griffin's history stretches back far too long to explain everything. But according to his reputation, he's been around since at least the Dark Ages, he's killed various creatures; humans, witches, wizards, vampires, demons. . . and a couple of Slayers. He always causes death and destruction wherever he goes, and he loves to brag about some of the more sinister stuff he's done. Needless to say, Griffin does not get along with anyone, even his own kind. Actually, he sort of hates his own kind, because he sees them as competition. Griffin considers himself to be the best at everything, and any vampire that gives him a run for his money. . . well, he usually tries to put a stop to that. Extra: Among Griffin's victims, are at least one known Slayer, but there's rumored to be a few more. The known Slayer he killed was Winifred, she was only 22 at the time, leaving Xandra to fill in for her four years earlier than she should have. Then he killed Xandra's parents as well. That, of course, is just the tip of the iceberg.

Name: Luna LexingtonAge: 21Species: HumanPower: No powers, but she's good at fighting, hunting, and pretty good at petty crimes and lying.Personality: Luna is sarcastic, that's one word often used to describe her. She's withdrawn, reserved and doesn't like to let others get too close. Or at least that's her version of it, in reality nobody has ever actually tried to get close to her. She's a bit arrogant, and likes to act like there's no chance she could ever lose a fight. Even though she's lost her fair share of fights, she always finds an excuse that it wasn't her fault, that the person she was fighting took off and she technically didn't lose and so on. She loves to get into fights, and she has a quick temper. Sometimes she'll start arguments with people just for the fun of it. Luna is very reckless, always jumping into things head first and not bothering to think things through or worry about what she's getting herself into. Despite her many flaws, Luna is a good person, she'd do anything for someone she cares about, and more than willingly trade her life for someone else's. She hates vampires, demons, and everything else that's suppose to be evil. If it's suppose to be evil, then it is, as far as Luna's concerned. There's no middle ground, or if, ands, or butts about it. She's very stubborn and strong willed, and it's nearly impossible to change her mind.Appearance: History: Luna had a rough life growing up. When she was a baby she was found abandoned in a hospital waiting room, so she has absolutely no idea who her parents are, or why they abandoned her. She was put into foster care after that, and spent 15 years bouncing from foster home to foster home. All of these homes were miserable, and only took Luna in for the money. When she turned 15, a horrible experience sent Luna out on her own. Tired of dealing with the idiots in the foster homes, Luna decided she'd be better off alone. It was shortly after this, when Luna was sleeping on a bus bench, when she had her first encounter with the supernatural. Some guy woke up by trying to take a bite out of her neck. Needless to say, this scared the crap out of Luna, and she acted on instinct. Fighting back. Luna had learned to fight at an early age, because she was always having to defend herself. After all, if she didn't defend herself, who would? Luna fought the man off, and grabbed the only weapon she could find. This turned out to be a piece of broken bench, and she stabbed the man with it. He crumbled into dust, and leaving Luna thoroughly confused. After this, Luna began trying to figure out what the hell had happened, and so she began digging farther into it. Following up on rumors here and there, Luna began to find herself involved in an age old fight of good vs. evil. Well, Luna had nothing else to do with her life, and fighting against evil made her feel like her life was actually worth something. So since then, Luna has thrown herself into the fight, doing her part to kill as many vampires and demons as possible, at least until one finally gets the best of her.Extra: Luna is never found without a stake, a gun, throwing daggers, knives, daggers, and a colt filled with silver bullets. A girl has to be ready for anything, after all. She loves using holy water on vampires, but she's currently out of those. Luna's attitude doesn't make for becoming friends with priests and getting them to bless holy water, after all. During the six years since Luna was rudely introduced into this life, she's came across numbers vampires and demons, but she's never met anyone good. Anyone that she could fight on the same side with. Which, is fine with Luna. She doesn't need anyone, she never has, she's always been on her own. At least, that's what she's always claimed. In truth, Luna is pretty damn lonely, and would like to find a few allies.

Xandra gave Valentine a small smile when he said that all she had to do was just tell him to stay out of the fight with Griffin. And that he wouldn't want to stand in the way of her getting justice for what he'd done, even adding that he knew better than anyone that she could handle herself. She wished it were just that simple. If it were then she wouldn't have left him, and she also wouldn't still feel like things were strained between them, because she wasn't telling him everything. Xandra felt guilty over that, just like she felt horrible for leaving him in the first place. Hence why she'd apologized; something Xandra very rarely did. If it were only a question of Valentine not getting involved in the fight, Xandra wouldn't have left him behind, because she knew she could trust him to stay out of it if she asked. Xandra didn't trust easily, but once she learned to trust someone, she trusted them completely. And Val was the only one she trusted. But there was more to it, and she just couldn't tell him.
When Valentine went on to ask her if she remembered that he was a three hundred year old vampire, so he would appreciate it if she stopped trying to leave him out of the action, Xandra gave a light chuckle. The little bit of playfulness he'd added to his tone, made Xandra think he was trying to let her know he wasn't mad at her, Xandra believed that he wasn't. If it was one thing she'd learned about Val, it was that he wasn't the type to hold a grudge, and tended to move on from things easily. One of the few things they were total opposites on, Xandra was more the type to hold a grudge. But the fact that Valentine so easily forgive her, well, apart from the fact that he was probably just hoping she wouldn't try to ditch him again, only added to her guilt. "How could I forget? It's pretty easy to remember that I'm dating an old guy," Xandra said, mixing in a small amount of the same playful tone that Valentine had used. She had wanted to keep Valentine out of what was coming, but he was here now, and she knew he wouldn't be leaving anytime soon. . . so she decided she might as well make the best of it. Even if she couldn't tell him everything right now, at least she could try to make things not feel so strained between them.
When the earthquake suddenly hit, Xandra cursed under her breath, just barely keeping her balance during it. When it stopped, she looked up and frowned, cursing much more colorful when she saw the horde of zombies. Oh, just freaking great. She heard Dexter, and glanced over at him, rolling his eyes. She had an equally sarcastic remark for his sarcastic question, but she didn't have time to get it out before he took off running towards one of the vampires and jumped right into a fight. Xandra sighed, shaking her head. She imagined if she had an annoying younger brother, he would be just like Dex. Xandra quickly shook off the thoughts, and focused on the vampires rushing towards them. She'd spotted Grimm, along with a little group of his own. Xandra did a double take, oh please. Please. . . tell her that the blonde that had been waving was not the new Slayer. The Chosen One. If she was. . . Xandra was in for a hell of a time trying to train her, she suddenly realized. At least they had some help, they were going to need it right now. Especially considering the vampire army was clear not newborns. Xandra was a good fighter, she could handle several mature vampires at once. . . but the amount of vampires here was well over her limit. She just hoped the people with Grimm knew how to fight.
Xandra pulled her stake out, dusting the first vampire at lunged at her rather quickly. The next one proved to be harder, and got in a couple of punches that Xandra was unable to avoid, but she managed to get in several good hits of her own, and dusted him within a few minutes. She glanced over at the others, to make sure they were handling themselves alright. One of the new boys seemed to be using magic. Huh, a wizard? That would be handy to have around. Before the next vampire came at her, Xandra glanced over at Valentine and realized he didn't have a stake. He was going just fine anyway, but Xandra pulled out her extra stake that she kept in her boot. "Here, might help," Xandra said once she found an opening and quickly handed the stake to Valentine, then moved back to her own fights. Val always respected Xandra in her fighting, so Xandra always did the same for Valentine in his. Well, usually, sometimes Xandra couldn't help herself, like when she'd stepped in between him and Dexter. But she didn't see giving him a stake as interfering, just helping out.
A vampire jumped at her, and Xandra dodged, bringing her knee up and hitting him in the stomach, following quickly with a hard right hook and knocking him off balance. He recovered quickly, landing a blow on Xandra's cheek and knocking her off her feet. Well, that was going to leave a bruise. Annoyed, Xandra kicked her foot out, taking the vampire's legs out from underneath him and knocking him down as well. As Xandra went to jump up, planning on staking the vampire before he could get up, a second and third vampire closed in on her. Sighing, Xandra ducked out of the way, just seconds before they could grab her, and did a roundhouse kick on one, then quickly punching the other one. While Xandra was fighting those two, the third one jumped up and joined in on the fight. Xandra did well enough holding her own against the three. If she kept moving, she could handle being slightly outnumbered. But, because she was so focused on the three vampires in front of her, she didn't even notice the new arrival. At least, until he grabbed her by the back of the head, and sent her slamming into a tree.
All the air rushed out of Xandra's lungs when she hit the tree, and then the ground, and before she had a chance to recover, the vampire grabbed her again, this time sending her slamming into a tombstone. Hard enough so, that part of it broke off and crumbled on impact. This time when she hit the ground, Xandra rolled away from the half destroyed tombstone, coughing and trying to ignore both the metal/copper taste in her mouth and the pain shooting through her back and front. And now she was pissed. Severely pissed, actually. A broken rib or two. Oh, fantastic. They'd heal soon enough thanks to her being a Slayer, but that wouldn't do her any good right now. Xandra grabbed her stake and climbed to her feet, but froze when she saw the vampire that had been throwing her around like a rag-doll. Griffin. He stood a few feet away, smirking. Yeah, now her temper really hit the roof. Even though Xandra knew he was coming, Josephina had told her that he wouldn't be there until after she'd been in Montana for a couple of days. She'd only arrived tonight, so what the hell was he already doing there? Actually. . . no. Xandra remembered Josephina'e exact words; The fight will happen a night or two after you arrive. I'm not sure where, or what else is going on at the time. But you look to be in some sort of a wooden area when it happens. Great. She really should have remembered that before now.
Griffin was the only vampire that could make Xandra freeze, only for a second, of course, and mostly because of the memories that flooded through her. But the fact that he did might her freeze for even a second was enough to add to her anger. In that one second that Xandra froze, Griffin turned and flicked his hand out, towards Grimm. Grimm had been fighting one of the vampires, as best he could, anyway, and just barely staked it when Griffin flicked his hand and sent Grimm slamming into a tree. Grimm had barely even hit the tree when Griffin turned again, this time towards Valentine. Before he had a chance to do anything to Valentine, however, Xandra tackled Griffin. Knocking him off his feet, and starting the fight with him. One good thing about Griffin, was that he usually didn't use his power on the person he was fighting, he liked doing that the old fashioned way. Usually the only time he used his power on someone was to purposely taunt the person he was planning on fighting. Hence, why he'd went for Grimm and Valentine. The two people there that Grimm knew Xandra was close to.

Rainer narrowed his eyes at Spike. Remembering just why he didn't like working with vampires. "I'll take that as meaning you got lost, and had to ask for directions from some human," he said dryly, sarcasm hanging heavily on every word. He turned and walked back into the house, heading over the table that he'd dropped the picture of Cici on and snatched one up. He paused, seeing the broken glass on the ground and rolled his eyes. Rattlesnake, the idiot, must have broken it after he left. The idiotic vampire was lucky Rainer didn't shove the broken glass right down his throat. Normally, Rainer would have without a second thought. But since he still wanted the girl as quickly as possible, it would only slow things down if he killed the help.
Dru glared at Rainer's 'greeting' but she didn't have a chance to reply before Spike did. Since Spike had handled it, Dru decided against saying anything. At least for the moment, anyway. Besides, while Rainer and Spike were bickering, Rattlesnake spoke up. Dru had carefully kept her eyes focused on Rainer, and was purposely trying to ignore Rattlesnake altogether. But when he spoke, Dru instantly looked over towards him, instantly glaring at him. Only Rattlesnake could take seemingly normal words, well mostly, and turn them around to sound like a threat.
It was funny, Dru never forgot her hatred of Rattlesnake, but seeing him in person always made her hate him just that much more. Which, really, seemed impossible, but she could always create a little more hate for him. Before Dru could say anything, Shadow arched his back and hissed again. Shadow, being a vampire cat, also had much longer and sharper fangs than the average cat, and he showed those off in his hiss. Dru usually scolded Shadow when he hissed at Spike, but since it was aimed at Rattlesnake, Dru let him hiss as much as he wanted. She did, however, tighten her grip on the cat. "Rattlesnake, looking as ugly as ever, I see," Dru said dryly, carefully working some of that hatred into her tone. There were two very strong reasons Dru hated Rattlesnake. One was because of everything he'd put her through before finally turning her. And even the taunting he'd done after that and over the years. The other reason, was that since becoming a vampire, there was very little that really bothered Dru. She'd dealt with numerous vampires, demons, and the like, and barely even batted an eye at them anymore. Rattlesnake, however, was the only one that could make her edgy and nervous. Though she tried very hard not to like that show, knowing Rattlesnake would enjoy it way too much. It annoyed Dru to no end that she couldn't shake that feeling around him, she blamed it on leftover feelings from her human days. Since it made no other sense to her, she was a vampire now and on equal ground, more than able to fight him if she had to.
So, after her comment, Dru looked away from him, trying to ignore him altogether again. She looked back towards Rainer as he went over towards a table to get something, and took a small, and subtle, step closer to Spike. It helped to block her view of Rattlesnake, and also to help her hide how she felt about Rattlesnake. She also tightened her grip a little more on Shadow, who had stopped hissing and was now just doing some low growl sound in his throat.
Rainer walked back over with the picture of Cinnamon, and shoved it at Spike and Dru. "I want you to bring this girl to me. She's a new Slayer, and refuses to even learn how to train. Should be easy enough of a grab." Rainer refused to tell anyone his reasoning for not getting her himself, or even sending Jack to do for him. "I'm sending Rattlesnake to get her as well. The first one that brings her to me gets a gem that lets them walk in the sun without toasting. There's two, so both of you can have one if you manage to bring her to me first. But only if you bring her to me first. I want no fighting between you two and Rattlesnake until I have the girl. But after I have the girl, I could care less if you rip each other to shreds."
When he shoved the picture towards them, Dru took it, glancing at the girl in the picture. Instantly recognizing her as being the girl she'd gotten the flash of later. Rainer looked from her to Spike. "I suggest you two hurry and not get lost again. So far, Rattlesnake is proving to be faster than you two," Rainer said, just to annoy them. "And whoever brings me the girl first, will get a surprise, added bonus," Rainer added.

Luna had been traveling by bus towards Montana for the most part. But then a few towns back, she'd gotten into an argument with the driver at a rest stop, and ended up clocking him. Needless to say, the bus had left without her after that. So, Luna had been forced to hoof it on foot the rest of the way to the town that she was aiming for. She hated buses anyway, she thought, rolling her eyes. She wasn't all that sure why she was headed to the Middle Of Freaking Nowhere, Montana. Just rumors she'd heard about the place. Something about dark magic and some big discovery or something along those lines. And Luna, not wanting to be left out, had jumped on a bus and headed that way. Might as see what was going on, after all.
After she'd gotten to town, Luna had considered finding a place to stay. Maybe check into a nice motel. . . but a look at her wallet told she'd be camping on the streets again. Eh, nothing new there. So, Luna began making her way through the town. Maybe she'd check out a graveyard, see if any newborn vamps were roaming around. She hadn't had a good fight in a few days, and was just itching for one. A newborn wouldn't be much of a challenge, but it was better than nothing.
The earthquake caught her off guard. Who knew they had earthquakes in Montana? But Luna didn't suspect anything supernatural about it. At least, not right away.
It wasn't long before she came to Eternal Peace Gardens. Luna rolled her eyes at the sign. What a joke. Little did they know, eternal rest was not usually what happened in graveyards. Climbing the fence, Luna dropped down with a soft thud on the grass, and began making her way forward. It was only a moment before the sounds of a fight reached her, and on instinct, Luna ran forward and towards the sound. Sure enough, a fight came into view. A large fight at that. There looked to be a Slayer involved, along with.. . . a wizard. Ugh. Luna didn't like wizards, or witches. She didn't hate them, but well. . . they still annoyed her. They always seemed to love showing off their powers, and they were too easily swayed to the dark side, from what Luna knew about them and had seen first hand. There also. . . Luna frowned. There looked to be too vampires fighting against the other vampires. Huh? Luna shook it off. Vampires weren't to be trusted, so vampires fighting against their own kind shouldn't surprise her, they probably felt threatened or something by the others.
Luna dropped her bag by a tree, several feet away from the fight and hidden from sight, and pulled a stake out of it. Then jumped into the fight. Picking the closest vampires, which turned out to be a group of three that was slightly back from the others, and quickly dusted one before they even knew that she was there. The other two turn and hissed at her, and Luna grinned. "Oh, I guess I should have asked first if he wanted dusted now or later, huh?" she said, sarcastically. Right before the other two vampires lunged at her and she dodged, staying just out of reach until she suddenly got close enough to land a hit of her own.

Jinx lost her balance when the second earthquake happened, and had to grab onto a nearby tree to keep from falling right onto her butt. When it ended, and the group of vampires suddenly appeared, Jinx instantly looked over towards Cici. Jinx didn't like vampires -well, evil ones, anymore than Cici did. But at least Jinx didn't freeze up at the fight of them. She hoped Cici wouldn't because. . . well, that wouldn't be good with the amount of vampires suddenly coming at them.
Jinx watched as the others started fighting, blinking curiously towards Ryder when she saw the magic he was using. Alright, that was cool. And so the type of magic that Jinx would love to use. Hmmm, maybe she could ask Ryder for tips later. Jinx quickly turned her attention back towards the fight as a vampire lunged at her. Jinx let out a surprised yelp, and ducked out of the way just shy of being grabbed. She pulled the stake out of her jacket, and aimed it at the vampire. She missed the heart completely, making the vampire laugh at her. But because he was laughing, he didn't realize that Jinx had a second stake, this one that hit the mark and made him crumbled into dust. She wasn't that good at fighting vampires, she was only a witch, after all, not a Slayer. Which was good, because Jinx was pretty sure she'd get herself killed if she were a slayer and suppose to do this kind of thing. But Jinx did know that if she could stay out of reach, and had the element of surprise, she could manage to dust a vampire if needed. And obviously it would be needed.
She jumped out of the way of a second vampire, but a third one grabbed her from behind, and Jinx couldn't break free of him. For a second, she thought that the vampire would bite her, and either kill her, or end up turning her. Neither was in Jinx's plans, so she was pretty upset by the thought. A wolf howling caught the vampire's attention, and Jinx managed to stab him with her stake. She missed the heard, but it made the vampire lose his grip on her and Jinx was able to get away from him, quickly putting as much distance between them as possible.
Once she was out of the vampire's reach, she spotted the wolf that had howled. A large, white wolf, that was running right into the mess of vampires. It stopped just short, and shifted. Changing from a wolf, to a man. Jinx blinked, thinking she was seeing things wrong, but nope. Man/Wolf was still there.
"My, my. Interesting situation, isn't it? Been a long time since I've seen so many vampires in one gathering," Beckett mused, more to himself than Jinx. Even though she was standing close enough to hear him. Beckett took in the scene, watching the fighting. Most of the vampires looked to be the classic, evil, soulless type. Nothing new there. However, there were two vampires fighting and killing their own kind. Interesting. Beckett hadn't seen that before. He also spotted the blonde girl, he was pretty sure that was the new slayer, from what he'd heard about her. A wizard, a witch and a werewolf. . . another Slayer. This one was fighting with a vampire, Beckett recongized the vampire as Griffin. It was hard not to know him, and Beckett most certainly didn't like him. But, Beckett didn't get involved in petty little things for no reason.
A vampire suddenly lunged at Beckett, and Beckett sighed, bringing his hand up and grabbing the vampire by the throat right before he reached him. "I'm really not in the mood, think we could postpone this until later?" Beckett said dryly. With that, he turned and threw the vampire away from him. He really wasn't in the mood to fight, that wasn't what he came there for, after all. Instead, Beckett would much rather observe the scene and see what happened. How the new Slayer and the supposed Chosen One, handle it. The other Slayer was doing quite well, but Griffin did look to be getting the upper hand in the fight. Hmmm, maybe Beckett would step in later. If it got too out of hand. After all, he did want to talk to her, if it was who he thought it was, that was Xandralexia, a Rouge Slayer and current longest living Slayer. She'd be interesting to talk to. But right now, Beckett would rather see how she handled getting out of it on her own. A new girl caught his attention, dark hair and looked to be a good fighter. But she was clearly human. Interesting, Beckett made a mental note to speak to her later as well. Along with the dark haired boy that was fighting some vampires, he was human. . . but Beckett caught just the faintest scent of slayer blood coming from him. Now that piqued Beckett's interest.
