Hawk resisted the urge to make gagging sounds as Lance and Gwen starting making eyes at one another. They were about to start a war, now was certainly not the time to go around acting like that. Being in love made people stupid and now was not the time to be stupid. “Well then I'd better leave, before I lose my lunch.” He said as he shifted into the hawk form, it felt more him than his human form did now. As he flapped his wings to gain some height he spotted another bird coming their way. He studied the other, smaller bird, it was more than just a normal bird but it was not one of his people. Gareth would never employ shifters, he hated them and he was sure no shifter would work for the false king. Hawk was confused, but when the bird drew closer he recognized it as a Merlin. Hawk let out a cry of excitement. A Merlin was good sign, perhaps the old wizard was alive and ready to help them.
Lance grinned a little when Hawk left, and stepped closer to Gwen. “Are you sure this is a good idea?” He asked as his smile faded, he hadn't wanted to say anything in front of Hawk but Lancelot was truly terrified of finding Arthur. Terrified of what his friend would say should they find him, that he wouldn't want to help and that it would have been a big waste of time to look for him. Hell, if he was in Arthur’s place he wouldn't want to see them again, and he certainly wouldn't want to help out someone who had betrayed him. “Maybe we should leave Arthur be, no one here want's Gareth as king, they'd still fight without him.” He said keeping his voice low in case anyone was around. “What right do we have to ask this of him after-” Lance stopped when he heard Hawks cry. His hand instinctively went to his sword but relaxed when he saw a Merlin fly towards them with a piece of parchment in it's talons.
The bird landed on a nearby branch and dropped the note to the ground and Lancelot went to pick it up. “A little birdie told me your looking for the true King, he resides in my forest, follow the Merlin and I shall lead you to the King.” He said reading the note and looking back at the bird. Merlin, the great wizard, had kept the bird of his namesake as pets, and Lance hopped maybe the old wizard was still alive. If anyone could talk to Arthur it was Merlin, but Lance had seen the wizard die at the hands of Gareth, could it be that the wizard faked his death. He looked at Guinevere. “Should we trust it?” He asked.
Hawk kept flight soaring through the skies as the wind blew through his feathers. He loved the feeling of flight and his hawk had no worries, it's mind was so simple compared to a humans. He kept to the skies until he spotted Wesley and Frederick. He flew down to tell them the news, changing into his human form just as he landed. “Hello Frederick, Westley.” He said nodding to the pirate and the giant. “Lance and Gwen have decided to lead a group into the Forest of Dangerous Things and are looking for a few brave souls to make the journey with them. I, of course, thought of the two of you.” He said throwing in a bit of flattery, it never hurt.

Snow ran a hand threw her hair, she wasn't big on standing in the dancing area. So she made her way back upstairs when she grabbed a cup of drink and was walking around on the upper level deck. She knew most of the guards by name, it was pretty obvious of the ones not to talk to. Ever. But she's always wanted to talk to one of them, but has always been asked too dance when she would finally spot him. She sensed emotionally nonavailability which probably lead her to wanting to talk to him. She likes challenges, her biggest challenge is to make it better in the big ledges than her sister. Bad, huh? But before talking to that one guard, she had a few words to talk to another.
Afterwards she turned on her heels and made her way back downstairs, eyes dancing across while she was going down stairs until she finally spotted him. She walked up while taking a sip on her drink, "Well hello there." she said, not using names or titles and she didn't really know what he likes to be called.

Well now, Melanie heard Cleo tell her that she was sorry, she waved it off, "It's a common mistake. No big." she said, with a small smile. She listened to her comment and gave a nod, she knew that if she took the risk to go, it was still a major risk. What if she lost control, and shifted...right there...in front of everyone. She ran a hand through her hear and cut through the buildings and shortly disappeared into the forest and turned back in the better known, Lilia, who was Princess among other elves and didn't want to go into the castle cause it would only piss her off and didn't want to kill a nearby innocent. So she simply started walking deeper into the forest, remembering that she snatched an apply from the city and took it out of her pocket. Bringing it to her mouth, she took a bite out of it. She glanced over to see that she was a little ways off than Freddy and Wes, oh and Hawk. She just kind of shrugged it off, it seriously wasn't anything knew to her.

Fallen was truly embarrassed and didn't want to be like... beheaded. She was nibbling on her bottom lip, trying to keep herself from rambling or turning into a rambling mess. She took a deep breathe and took his appearance in after she heard him returning an apology, it also caught her off-guard. It almost made her blush, "No, it's okay. It was my fault." she said, pushing herself to get him not to do anything to blame himself. It was.. cute. She also noticed that he took a side step, she kept glancing at the dancing. She remembered that she use to stand on her mother's feet and danced that way.
She wasn't exactly sure, who he was or what he was, she just knew that he could be pretty important not to piss off. She heard him introduce him as Henry, then adding Lannister. She thought she remembered the tiny prep work that Snow did that he was a knight. "Oh, nice to meet you. I'm Rapunzel Ma.. i mean, Dragonmir." she said, almost saying Macbeth. She almost forgot that Macbeth wasn't her real last name...Dragonmir was. Then she heard him ask her to dance, causing her cheeks turn into a slight pink. The only reason why she was so blushy, quiet and such was because she was nervous, anxious and nervous. Did i mention she was nervous? She gave a small nod, "I'd like that." she still wasn't sure if he was a knight or not, and he wasn't bragging or anything, so either he was and thought his name should be enough or he wasn't, and she didn't remember what he was. Great. She offered her hand for him to take, and ready for him to lead her to the dance floor while saying, "I haven't really danced this type.. so.. i probably suck." she said, quietly.

Name: Gideon ArchibaldNickname: NoneAppearance: Age: 29Race: HumanAllegiance: King Gareth, because he doesn't like magical beings either.Occupation: Knight for King GarethWeapon: SwordStrengths: He's a good fighter, and. . . well, that's pretty much it.Weaknesses: He has horrible aim, so whatever you do; don't give him a bow and arrow. He's also pretty bad at lying.Goals: To help get rid of magic altogether, to kill any magical being he comes across, and to help kill King Arthur to keep from possibly taking back the throne.Fears: Gideon is afraid of anything involving magic, and therefore he's afraid of anyone that can do said magic. He's also afraid of aging and dying.Short Bio: Gideon has had a pretty average life. He hails from from long line of nobles, that he's proud to say has never been tainted by any magical being. His family has been Knights for quite some time, but Gideon always refused to be a knight for King Arthur, especially considering that Arthur was part fey himself. However when King Gareth took the throne, Gideon was more than happy to become a Knight and help put an end to magic once and forever. Other: Sorry for the lazy bio, I just realized that I didn't have a bad guy, so I thought I'd add one

Guinevere bit back a chuckle at Hawk's comment about having to leave before he lost his lunch, then shifted into his hawk form and left. She wasn't sure why she found it funny, it wasn't like she did it to purposely annoy him, but she found it funny nonetheless. Gwen's smile faltered, though, and then disappeared when Lance's did, and he asked if she was sure it was a good idea to go looking for Arthur. To be honest, Guinevere had her own doubts about it, and not to mention the mass amounts of guilt. But. . . Gwen tried to keep her own doubts about it hidden from Lancelot. There was only very little that Guinevere didn't tell Lance, and the only reason she didn't tell him about her own doubts of looking for Arthur was because he had his own. He did a good job at hiding it though, as far as Gwen knew, she was the only one that knew.
Before she could say anything, or before Lance could even finish, Hawk made a cry and Guinevere jumped, but then instantly put her hand on the hilt of her dagger, but when she looked up and saw a Merlin flying towards them, Gwen dropped her hand to her side. Tilting her head curiously at the bird. A Merlin? She knew that the wizard Merlin had kept birds of his namesake as pets, but Merlin had been killed at the hands of Gareth. It couldn't have been sent by Merlin, could it? Gwen wondered. Guinevere watched as Lance picked up the parchment and then read it out loud. Frowning as she listened. Lance asked if they should trust it and Gwen didn't answer right away, instead replaying the message over in her head. "I don't know. It seems. . . suspicious," she said carefully. "But I don't think it's a trap, really." Gwen sighed, running her hand through her hair for a moment.
After a moment, Gwen dropped her hand and looked back to Lancelot. "One matter at a time," Gwen said, that was more to herself than Lance. She was pretty sure that the bird wasn't a shifter, but Gwen lowered her voice to avoid being overheard anyway, leaning in close to Lance. "To answer your first question, yes. I am sure we should continue looking for him. It's the only way to fix Camelot, and I think we can get him to understand that. Don't worry so much, Lance. It'll work out, it has to," Gwen said, quietly. With that, Gwen gave him a quick kiss, then pulled away, returning her voice to normal.
"As for trusting it. . ." Gwen studied the Merlin for a moment, then looked back to Lancelot. "It's the only lead we have. I think we should go for it. We can handle wherever it leads us to," Gwen said. She sort of slipped back into her old ways for a second, making herself sound more confident than she felt. She hoped she wasn't making a mistake by saying that they should go for it. But. . . something told her that they should. Whether that was hope, or a true feeling, Gwen wasn't sure. "I don't think we should trust it per say, we need to be very cautious, but I do think we should follow it and see what happens," she finished, nodding her head. "Maybe we'll find that Merlin faked his death, and isn't really gone," she added. She didn't have much hope of that. . . but odder things had happened. If there was one thing that Gwen had learned, it was that you never said never.

Gideon stayed to the side of the throne room, watching carefully as guests began to arrive for the party. He quickly scanned each guest as they came through the door, trying to make sure that they were each only human. He didn't want any of those. . . ugh, magical freaks making their way inside the throne room. He was also looking for anyone that looked familiar to him, anyone he knew that was -or might be- associated with King Arthur. He didn't think any of them would actually come here, but one never knew. And it never hurt to be extra cautious.
Plus, not only did Gideon simply not want them there, but he thought that maybe if he were able to catch one of them himself, it would make him look good. Gideon had a strong loyalty to King Gareth and agreed with his views on magic. Even though Gareth was a bit. . . well, annoying, Gideon was willing to overlook that and follow his orders without question. But Gideon also wanted his loyalty and work as a Knight noticed, and he was more than willing to do whatever it took to accomplish that.
Gideon began to walk around the throne room, doing a round and watching the others. Frowning for a second when he noticed Walter's son speaking with a girl he didn't recognize. Hmmm, he wondered how Henry's father would like that, Gideon wondered. But, he had more important things to do at the moment, so Gideon simply filed it away for later and continued making his way through the ballroom.

A shadow flying overhead caught Wes' attention, and he looked up, spotting a hawk flying. As the hawk got closer, it shifted right before landing and shifted from just a hawk, into Hawk the person. Wes watched the shifter change with just the tiniest hint of jealousy. Must be nice getting to shift into a bird, Wes had always thought that would be rather interesting. Much more interesting than just being a human. . . well, mostly. As far as anyone knew, anyway. "Greetings, Hawk," Wes said, giving a light nod of his head. Then went quiet, listening as Hawk explained that Lance and Gwen had decided to lead a group into the Forest Of Dangerous Things, and were looking for a few people to accompany them.
Well, that certainly piqued Wes' interest immediately. He was always up for an adventure, after all. He'd never been into the Forest Of Dangerous Things, but the name alone pretty much told that it wouldn't be boring. Plus, Wes was more than willing to help Lancelot and Guinevere's cause. Hawk's bonus flattery didn't hurt either. "Ah, trying to flatter us into agreeing to help?" Wes asked. He couldn't help calling Hawk on it, but Wes' grin gave away that he was only joking. "Of course, I'd be more than glad to help and make the journey with them," he said, Then added, "At your service," Wes said, doing a mock bow. Though he did mean what he said, he was already anxious to get moving, in fact.
Freddy stayed quiet, since Wes had all but jumped at the chance of accompanying Lancelot and Gwen, and beaten him to the punch. When Wes had finished, Freddy spoke up. "Hello, Hawk," Freddy started. One thing about Freddy that was hard to mess, besides his size, being a Giant made him hard to miss, after all, but the other thing that was hard to miss about him was his voice. Freddy had a very deep, and loud, voice. Even though he didn't try to be loud, it was just how his voice was and there wasn't anything he could do to fix it. Those that had spoke to him before got use to it -like Wes for example, Wes didn't even think twice about it anymore- but he did tend to surprise those not expecting it. Then again, Freddy could surprise anyone that wasn't expecting them if he suddenly popped out of the bushes on them.
"And I'd be more than happy to go with them on their journey. I'm always willing to help with whatever I can," he said.

Cleo made her way quickly through the woods, until she reached the camp. Once she got there, she pushed her hood off her head, letting her brown hair show and let the hood drop to rest on her back. She didn't really care for the cloak, but it came in handy. Even though it went against Cleo's nature to hide. She was a Griffin/Chimera, she was proud of that and she sometimes felt like she was insulting her heritage when she hid herself. But. . . she knew that was just silly pride getting in the way, and that hiding when she was in Camelot was needed. At least for now. She couldn't wait for Gareth to be off the throne, and King Arthur to be back where he belonged. Which, in turn, would also put Cleo back where she belonged; as one of King Arthur's knights. That was, if he'd have her back. Cleo hoped he would, anyway. Since she didn't think she'd ever done anything to earn his distrust. At least she hadn't to her knowledge, anyway.
Shaking off the thoughts, Cleo entered the camp, and quickly spotted Ambrosia. "Hello, Ambrosia. Any new news while I was gone?" Cleo asked.
Ambrosia shook her head. "Not really. But when I was out gathering some food with Guinevere, we saw Hawk flying towards where Lancelot was. Guinevere went to go see if he knew anything, but she hasn't returned yet," Ambrosia said.
Cleo struggled to keep her face neutral. It really wasn't a secret that Cleo didn't like either Lady Guinevere or Sir Lancelot, but she had been trying to keep it under control as of late. At least until King Arthur was found. "Maybe they've found something out then," Cleo said. With that, she walked forward and helped Ambrosia by taking one of the baskets she'd been balancing. Obviously having only arrived back at camp just moments ago. And Cleo thought, she'd taken Guinevere's share back with her. Cleo rolled her eyes at the thought. Guess Lady Guinevere couldn't be bothered with such pity work, she thought sarcastically.

Stephan stopped walking as he reached the corner of the ballroom, finding a spot to stand and watch the others. He spotted Gideon arrive, and had to resist the urge to roll his eyes. He didn't like Gideon in the slightest. He was too much of a . . .. well, suck-up, as far as Stephan was concerned. Plus he had the personality of a stick in mud. Or maybe even less so, actually. They tended to butt heads occasionally, and since Stephan knew that would not go over well at the party, he decided it would be best to keep his distance from Gideon tonight. He didn't want to call unneeded attention to himself, after all. And really, Stephan didn't need the drama of fighting with a fellow Knight when he had more important matters to deal with.
Hearing a voice to his right, Stephan didn't turn right away. At first thinking that the girl was speaking to someone else. She hadn't said a name, or even used a title, and Stephan assumed that meant whoever she was speaking to was a friend. But when he heard nobody answer her, he turned and glanced towards her curiously. Nearly startling when he saw that she was looking directly at him. Stephan was careful to hide his surprise, however, never one to like being caught off guard.
"Uh, hello," Stephan answered. A little uncertain of what the woman wanted. Stephan wasn't all that use to people just walking up and talking to him, at least someone that wasn't another knight, anyway. "Did you need help with something?" he asked.

Magnus, very reluctantly and very rarely, made the decision to leave his home lately. Instead preferring to stay inside and study his spell books and potions books. Granted, Magnus already knew a great deal of those, but he liked to practice. To stumble across something new and exciting. When he found a spell that he hadn't used before, Magnus would simply have to use it until he perfected it. Until he had it completely memorized, and even experimented with it and added his own unique twist to it. Magnus had always done this, but he use to leave the house a bit more often. During King Arthur's reign, when someone would request Magnus to do some sort of magic for them. Now, of course, things had changed and nobody requested Magnus anymore. Which, really didn't do much for one's ego. Even though Magnus had enough of ego that it could take some denting and still never faze it.
However, since King Gareth had taken over, Magnus had grown custom to staying inside. So the fact that he was going to have to venture out annoyed him. He was nearly out of a few supplies, and required a few special items to try out a new potion. It was a good thing he was anxious to try it, otherwise he would have waited. Leaving his house, and making sure that the protection spells were firmly in place, Magnus left and ventured into the nearby forest. Which was where most of the items he needed were located. Magnus wasn't that fond of the forest, but he did what he had to do to do his spells. And just because he didn't like the forest, didn't mean he couldn't handle it, he just didn't like to.
Which did Magnus dislike the most? People, or nature? Hmmm, that was a tough question that Magnus wasn't even sure what the answer was.

Henry shook his head and smiled when she instead it was her fault. “Well how about we say it was no one's fault and call it a happy accident. After all if we had never bumped into each other I probably would've never had a chance to talk to you.” He said as he gently grabbed her hand and pulled her towards the dance floor. She'd mentioned her last name was Dragonmir, not exactly one his father's favorite family's but his father didn't have to know everything. It was strange that he'd not met her before since he'd met most of the nobles. She mentioned she wasn't experienced with the dancing here, another thing he found strange. Most noble woman knew every sort of dance since they were young. “You're not like the rest of the lady's around here are you, Rapunzel?” He asked with a grin. She did look a lot like Snow, he figured she must be the lost Dragonmir sister, the one raised with the peasants. It would explain why she was different, almost any other Lady would've complained about him for being in their way. He wanted to ask if she was the stolen daughter but he figured it might be rude so he kept his thoughts to himself.

Lancelot nodded, suspicious was the right word to describe the letter. But if it was a trap he knew it couldn't be from Gareth or his men, none of them would last long in that forest filled with powerful creatures that hated him. Gareth would never work with anything non-human and he couldn't imagine any non-human creatures working with someone who wanted to kill anything that wasn't human. It was the only lead they had, the only clue that they had gotten in weeks. If this bird could lead them to someone who knew where to find Arthur then this was truly what they needed. It seemed almost too easy, but then again finding Arthur wasn't the hard part, convincing him to join them, to take back the thrown and to fight alongside those who had betrayed him. That was the hard part.
But somehow Gwen managed to quiet his fears and return his confidence. Her words and her kiss instilled him with the strength he need. Arthur was the only best chance they had at uniting the kingdom, both humans and those who were more than human. What happened was on his shoulders, he'd broken his oath to his king and because of him the kingdom was a mess, ruled by a greedy tyrant who allowed his people to starve and killed anyone he saw as a threat. Lancelot had to do whatever it took to make things right, to do anything less would be cowardly.
“You're right, my love, Arthur may not care to hear from us but he will care about Camelot and he won't let Gareth destroy it.” Lancelot said with confidence, more to himself than to convince her, Gwen's confidence never seemed to falter the way his did. She mentioned being cautious about the Merlin, something that was more her strength than his. Caution and foresight had always been qualities that he'd lacked, Lance tended to rush into things, especially dangerous things and count on his good fortune and bravery to keep him alive. “What do say we head back to camp, inform the others and leave at night fall.” He suggested. The sooner the better, ever second wasted was time Gareth had to continue killing anyone who wasn't totally human and the more time the enemy had to plan.

Hawk shrugged when Wes called him on the flattery. “What can I say, I'll do anything to get Gareth's ass off that thrown and into the dirt where he belongs.” Hawk said, noticing who some of the hate he held for the regime leaked into his tone. Gareth didn't even deserve the honor of a funeral pyre, he deserved to rot in the dirt with worms and maggots. Hawk grinned a bit at that thought. Hawk glanced at the giant, who had practically shouted his reply.
“Excellent, though there's really no need to shout, I am standing right here.” Hawk said, teasing Freddy a bit. Hawk's ears were a bit more sensitive then your average humans, he spent a lot of time as a hawk focusing to pick out the slightest footstep or the sound of a breaking twig. “Anyway, their camp isn't too far from here, you should find our brave and noble leaders if head northwest, and I-” He threw in a bit of sarcasm when he referred to Lance and Gwen, and gave them directions to find the camp. “I am off to see the wizard.” He said sort of regretting it. Magnus wasn't exactly the friendliest of wizards. “Anyway when you get to a large oak tree, biggest tree in the whole forest you really can't miss it, just walk straight into it, it'll lead you into the camp.” He explained before taking off. The tree was the only entrance to the camp, the area was protected by magic making it hard to find but not impossible. It was only a simple glamour and it wasn't hard to train oneself to see through those.
Hawk again took flight heading towards the wizards house, only to find Magnus wasn't home. Which was a bit strange but he doubted the wizard could stay in his home all the time. Hawk searched the immediate area and the surrounding forests for a bit until he found the wizard. He landed a few steps behind the wizard before changing into his human form. “Hello Mags, talking a stroll through the forest I see. Isn't it such a nice day? Funny I should run into you here-” Hawk said trying to make a bit of small talk to the wizard before asking a favor of him. “Because I was just looking for a great and powerful wizard and really I don't know of anyone who fits that description better than you do.” He added with a grin. “Lance and Gwen are looking for anyone willing to journey into the Forest of Dangerous Things to help find Arthur and make him king again. What do you say? Up for a little adventure?” He asked.

Rapunzel carefully watched his reaction and listened to his reply, causing her little blush to deepen, as she felt her face heat up a little. "Why not?" she asked, lightly teasing, trying to lighten her mood. She was lightly nibbling her bottom lip, because she knew that at least her story was talked about. She has even heard it before, but she never could find out what the other twin looked like. She struggled with money until she figured out her talent was and she also wondered around in the forest for hours and hours. She was trying to learn how it worked from the very beginning. She felt him take her hand and heard him ask her a question about him not being like the rest of the ladies, which made her let out a giggle. "It's highly unlikely." she replied, with a smile. When they was on the dance floor, she glanced around, placing her free hand on his shoulder. She didn't know what her father's placement was in the king's eyes. She figured he must not be the worse, but his bragging did get a little annoying. She glanced towards her dad that was talking to some guy, then at her sister who was flirting or ordering around the poor guy. It was lightly amusing though. She was so different, and all she wanted was to find someone that she could feel like she fit with that person. She was glancing from his eyes to there feet, to watching the foot work of a lady, teaching herself how to dance. Before long, she wasn't almost stepping off her feet. It wasn't like she weighted enough for it to hurt.
