Snow was amused with the fact that her talking to him, caught him off guard. It was certainly intriguing her. She also knew that she should have used a title, but she was really self-adsorbed and most of the titles slipped in her mind when it came to getting what she wanted. You see, she was really more important. She wanted to became very, very well known. Her main goal was to over top the stupid Lost sister story.
Hearing the way he responded, made her give him a little grin, "Yeah, with some entertainment. Mind carrying on a little conversation?" she responded, she knew there was some flirting in there. She knew that he was a guard, but that was one step closer into making up for the Kings lack of no liking her dad, since she understood it. He did tend to brag a lot.. and it was so annoying.

Mel wasn't doing a very good job with wondering around aimlessly. She ended up making trips around the forest, in a way she was guarding. She was always iffy with humans in the forest, those untrustworthy creatures. She was one of the ones that helps Fallen get back with her home. Now that was one of the few humans, that she liked. She spent her life protecting King Arthur and doesn't like the current one, at all. During her time alone, she was worried about Fallen. She was a fish out of water in that hell hole of a town, especially since she knew where her people lived. She wouldn't say anything about the underground town, would she? Certainly no. That would be down right evil to do that to her once beloved family. It's such a shame, she really did like that human. The other human she liked was Wes, he was a decent guy. She glanced over to see the very..friendly.. wizard that came out to play, so she made her way till she was beside him, "So why's the big bad wolf came out to play?" she playfully teased. It was how she usually talked to him, she liked teasing. She was also glad that Fallen didn't see him, she tended on tackling people that she hadn't seen in awhile. She was sure that this guy wouldn't like that very much.

Magnus hadn't gone too far into the woods before he heard a voice behind him. Calling him Mags. Magus rolled his eyes at that, letting out an annoyed sigh. He hated being called anything but Magnus, or even Bane. Mags. . . was a nickname he hated. Turning around and crossing his arms over his chest, he found Hawk standing a few feet away. Hawk was trying to make small talk, talking about the weather. That told Magnus right there that Hawk was going to ask him for something. And sure enough, just a moment later, Hawk did exactly that. So, he wanted him to go with Lance and Gwen on some journey into the Forest Of Dangerous Things, to help look for Arthur and make him King again. And tried to soften Magnus up by throwing in the flattery with the whole 'great and powerful wizard' part. Which. . . alright, that part never hurt. Especially with Magnus and his slightly too large ego. It was a good way to get on Magnus' good side -what little there was of it- but still. . .
Magnus sighed. "I hate being called Mags, so don't," he said dryly. Tilting his head, he studied Hawk for a moment. "I do fit that description perfectly, luckily for you." One thing Magnus never had been, was humble. Magnus tried not to show it, but he was a little intrigued by the idea of traveling into the Forest Of Dangerous Things. He hadn't ever been there, and he was curious about some rumors he'd heard. Still. . . Magnus wasn't jumping at the chance. "But why, exactly, should I trouble myself by traveling into the forest with those two? They're the ones that ran Arthur off the throne, not me." Magnus tilted his head, thinking it over. He probably would end up going, he realized. But Magnus couldn't just make it easy on Hawk.
About that time, Magnus heard someone else walk up. Turning his head, he found the Elf Girl. Lilia. . . Mel. . . Magnus could never remember which one she went by in what form. He was pretty sure she went by one in human form, and one in elf form, but he couldn't keep it straight. Well, he could if he tired. Magnus just didn't bother to try. Elf Girl was teasing him about coming out of his house, and Magnus rolled his eyes. "I needed a few supplies for a new spell I wanted to try out," he answered with a shrug of his shoulders. Looking from Elf Girl to Hawk, Magnus wondered if they were just waiting on him to leave his house to catch him out and about. He knew there was a reason he didn't leave his house more often.

Wes grinned at Hawk's comment that he'd do anything to get Gareth off the thrown, and into the dirt where he belonged. The hatred that seeped into Hawk's voice wasn't lost on Wes. "Looks like we have that much in common, then," Wes said. It was funny, really. Wes had never actually met Gareth, but he hated as though they were old enemies. But then again, all it took was for one to look around Camelot and see the damage that Gareth had done and that was enough to make anyone hate the man.
Freddy missed the fact that Hawk had been teasing and gave a sheepish smile. "Sorry," he said. He tried to make his voice go a little quieter, but it was pretty much a lost cause. It just wasn't in the cards for Freddy to be quiet or hard to see. Not something Freddy was happy about, but what could he do about it?
Wes gave a nod of his head when Hawk gave them directions to the camp, apparently it wasn't far way, and hidden within the largest oak tree in the forest. That was interesting, Wes was already looking forward to seeing just how that one worked. Wes was far from being an expert on magic, and while he'd seen several magical things, there were plenty of things he was sure he had never seen before. Like a tree you just walked into. "Good luck with the wizard. I think you'll need it," Wes called after him, then chuckled. He'd only met Magnus a few times, and. . . well, the grumpy wizard left quite an impression. And not in a good way. Still, Magnus would be someone good to have on your side, and Wes suspected that it was usually worth dealing with his attitude to have his help.
Shaking his head, Wes glanced back to Freddy. "Well, let's go to the camp, then. I'm curious to see how this magical tree works," Wes said grinning. With that, he turned and headed off in the direction Hawk had pointed them in. He was pretty sure he knew the tree he was talking about. He didn't have to turn around to know that Freddy was following, because he could hear him. Personally, Wes didn't know what he thought of Lance and Gwen, and for now he would keep his opinions to himself. It didn't really matter anyway. The important thing was getting Gareth off the throne, and teaming up with Lance and Gwen appeared to be the best way to help. One thing Wes was sure about, however, was that he was glad he wasn't the one being sent to recruit the wizard.

Guinevere grinned when Lance said that she was right, and that Arthur may not care to hear from them but he would care about Camelot. He sounded more confident, and like his usual self. And that was the exact reason why Gwen was so careful to hide her own doubts and fears about finding Arthur. She normally told Lance everything, but in this case, she knew it was best to keep that secret from him. Especially if she could help Lance when his doubts got the best of him. She was pretty sure her comment about being cautious about the Merlin went right through one ear and out the ear, however. Being cautious and trying to plan things out before doing them was more what Gwen did than Lance. Lance was more the type to rush into things. It was one of the very few things about Lance that Gwen didn't care for. Mostly just because it made her worry about him more than she normally would have. Being reckless could easily get you hurt. Gwen usually tried to get Lance to not go rushing into things, but that was a hard thing to do. It normally didn't work, and the end result was that Gwen would have to go rushing into whatever it was with Lance. She didn't like to just jump in head first, but she wouldn't stand back while Lance did without going with him either. No, it was pretty much a guarantee that wherever Lance went, Gwen wouldn't be far behind.
Lance suggested that they go back to camp and tell the others about their plan, and then leave at night fall. Guinevere nodded her head in agreement. "Sounds like a plan," she agreed. She was anxious to move, and even more anxious to find Arthur and convince him to take back the throne. But at the same time, she was dreading it. She quickly shoved those thoughts to the back of her mind, and took Lance's hand and started walking back towards the hidden entrance to the camp. It was a clever little hiding place, and Guinevere probably wouldn't have been able to find it had she just been told about it. She wasn't naive when it came to magic, she had a good idea what it could do in the right -and wrong- hands. But Gwen was only human, so she only had so much knowledge of it. She never would have thought to walk into a tree to find the entrance to their camp.
Guinevere stayed quiet for several moments, as they walked back to camp. Just as they reached the tree, she came to a stop suddenly when a noise caught her attention. A faint thud sound. As it got closer, it slowly dawned on Gwen that it was heavy, large footsteps. Sure enough, just seconds later, Wes came into view. Followed behind by Freddy.
"Oh, well hello there," Wes called when he saw them. "Sir Lancelot, Lady Guinevere," Wes said as he came to a stop in front of them. Wes gave a quick bow, then straightened and grinned at them. "Hawk just recruited us for your journey. We were going to find the camp," Wes explained.
Guinevere grinned. "Thank you both. We can use all the help we can get," Gwen said.
"Always happy to help," Freddy said. Gwen winced just slightly at Freddy's voice. She'd only been around the Giant a few times, and it would much longer to get use to that booming voice of his. If it hurt her ears, she could just imagine how loudly it was for someone with more sensitive hearing. To Wes' credit though, Gwen noticed he didn't flinch, even though Freddy stood directly beside him. The two did seem to be good friends, from Gwen could tell. She supposed Wes had just spent enough time with Freddy to get use to it.

Stephan raised an eyebrow slightly at Snow when she answered. Asking if he minded carrying on a little conversation. He wasn't quite sure if she was bored and simply asking, if she were trying to flirt, or if it was more of a demand. Stephan's people skills were far from being the best, and he sometimes had trouble trying to read people. Especially, as Stephan had realized not that long ago, women. He never seemed to be able to figure them out worth a damn, and they usually left him confused. And while he had never really spoken to Snow before, he knew a little bit about her. The whole lost sister thing, and he'd a few rumors about Snow. If they were true or not, he didn't know. And honestly, Stephan had only paid half attention because he didn't expect to ever talk directly to her.
"I'm not really big on small talk," he said, giving a shrug of his shoulders. He looked away for a moment, not sure what to say. He was being honest with that, he was a good liar, but when it came to making small talk, it wasn't a strength of his. He'd never had reason to work on it, and the majority of people that he was surrounded by didn't want to talk to him so that was a bonus. But, it was also pretty obvious that Snow wasn't shy, and Stephan assumed it would probably be better to try to talk to her, than piss her off by not at least trying. But, because Stephan had no idea what to say, he just went with the first thing that came to mind. "You're the one with long lost sister, right?" he asked. That, of course, was proof that Stephan was not only not good at small talk, but didn't even stop to consider that maybe that was something Snow wouldn't want to talk about. Ooops.

Hawk made a mental note that the wizard hated being called Mags, now was not the time to try and push the wizards buttons but he could always bother him later. The wizard asked for a reason why he should help and Hawk was going to guess a for the good of the kingdom speech wasn't going to work on this guy. Magnus made a good point, it was sort of Lance and Gwen's fault that Arthur was gone but they were trying to fix it, and Hawk respected that. No one else was really taking charge and without proper leadership a revolt against Gareth would never come close to success.
“Come on Magnus, your far to wise to be that foolish, you have just as much invested in this as the rest of us. You may have power, great power, but what's that gonna get you when Gareth's whole army comes for your head. They won't stop until everyone who isn't on their side is dead, and how much longer do you really think you've got until they're knocking on your door? If we stand alone none of us will survive, but together, if those who are still left unite we could beat this. A raindrop might be nothing, but no one can stop a wave, right? Do it to save magic, to save Camelot and yourself.” Hawk explained, hoping he'd been convincing enough. They could really use a wizard with some power to stand with them, but if not he had to keep believing there plans would work, it was to important a cause to fail.
“And of course I extend the offer to join us to as well elf. I fear the wizard here might be a bit afraid of the forest. It's understandable, it could be a very dangerous journey, but you seem like a brave soul, will you join us?” He asked before he started heading back to the camp, he didn't wait for the others to respond. If they wanted to join they would follow.

Henry smiled as he danced with Rapunzel. “You're much better at this than you led me to believe.” He said, teasing a bit. “So if your a Dragonmir that must make you Dmitri's niece? Or one of his daughters right?” He asked trying to avoid asking what he really wanted to ask but still find out without seeming rude. “He's a very good knight.” He added. “I've trained with him before, never been able to best him with a sword.” Henry added with a smile. It was an honor to be able to train with the older knights, even though he wasn't experienced to be anywhere near there level. Henry had never fought in an actual battle before. His father disliked Dmitri though, his father disliked anyone who drew attention away from him. Speaking of his father, Henry suddenly felt the man's disappointed glare on him. He stopped dancing and looked towards the thrown, while the whole room did the same and the music stopped. All where silent as the King took his place on the throne and his father started to speak.
Walter had washed the blood from his hands and dressed for him appearance at the king's party. Earlier he had taken care of the sacrifice to Mars, to keep the new powers Gareth and his army had the God required a blood sacrifice every night. At first they had used the non-humans they had rounded up but since those were becoming more scarce they had taken to using criminals and troublemakers of the kingdom. Peasants caught stealing and those who neglected to pay there taxes. It was about time the vermin of his Kingdom made themselves useful, Walter had no problem cutting open throats of such people. After the sacrifice Gareth and he had headed to the party to make an announcement. Before he got the chance he spotted his own son dancing with the Dragonmir, the one who'd spent years hanging around with peasants. It was rather disgusting, he how one could ever get the smell of peasants off.
Walter had plan to stop his son from continuing to be such a disappointment, and Henry would either succeed or die trying, either way it was would be a win for Walter.
“Ladies and Gentlemen, I am sure the problems that plague this city are no secret to you. To many still believe in Arthur as a king, and it is known that the traitors, lead by Lancelot and Guinevere are planning some kind of attack on this city. We can not allow this to happen. Which is why my son Henry has volunteered to lead a group into the forests to track down the traitors and abominations who threaten Camelot. Anyone interested in joining must be ready at the first light of the sun to hunt them down. A reward shall be given to anyway who brings us back a traitors head, and for the head Arthur, Guinevere or Lancelot, more gold than you can spend in a lifetime and one request, within reason, can be asked of our great King. We will stop this conspiracy before they bring lies and violence to our gates.” Walter shouted and his words echoed through the room.
Henry starred at his father, his eyes wide with excitement. He hadn't really volunteered for this but if he'd even know this was his fathers plan he would've volunteered in a heartbeat. But this was better, his father was giving him a real assignment, this wasn't the sort of job you gave to an idiot, this was real work for a knight. This was his chance to prove himself a worthy knight, this was an important job. He would be leading men to stop the traitors plot, he would finally have his chance to battle for his kingdom and protect Camelot. Henry grinned with pride as he thought about his knew job.

OOC- So I'm going to hit the fast forward button on this, so it's now night fall and if you've decided to go to the FODT then at least by the end of your post you'll be at the edge of the forest with Lance.
Lancelot and Guinevere had gotten everything ready for the journey to the Forest of Dangerous Things. The small merlin had followed them back to the camp and starred at him for most of the day. Lance found something about the bird's gaze to be very disconcerting. He'd spoken to Hawk about it when the man had returned from gathering up a few more people. Hawk had assured him that this was just a regular bird but something about the look the bird gave him made him uneasy. By night fall he'd managed to shrug the feeling off and they had rounded up the few who had volunteered and began following the bird. Hawk had chosen to fly after the bird as a hawk, which Lance agreed with, it helped to have eyes in the sky as well to keep an eye out for danger. They soon reached the edge of the forest they'd been hiding in and the Forest of Dangerous Things, and as the Lance stepped forward into The Forest of Dangerous Things he could feel the darkness the forest contained in the air. “If anyone should like to turn back now, this is your last chance, no one will think any less of you if you don't wish to follow past this point.” He said as he walked deeper into the forest. The air was thick with fog and after only walking a few feet into the forest he couldn't even see the edge of it. Getting back out once they found Arthur might be harder than they thought. Hawk and the merlin perched on a tree and waited for the others to follow.

Snow was in-between wanting to flirt and just wanting to talk and get to know him. She knew it wasn't really a bad thing, since she was royal and stuff. She had grown tired of being the hot topic, if it involved her other sister. She wanted to be better, she craved it with all her might. Hearing him tell her that he's not a big fan of small talk, that's rather boring. "Or is it that you don't like it because you don't do it?" she asked him, she lifted her eyebrow. She never really saw him talking to anyone, and if she did it wasn't even long. It was crap. It was almost as if he was hiding something, or he just really didn't like people. She heard his question, she just simply nodded, "Yeah, she use to play in the forest for fun." she said, with a shrug like it was no big deal. She wasn't on a side, she just went with the flow on most days.
When she heard a voice being directed towards everyone there, she turned her attention to it, but it was hard. She heard him and how he spoke arrogant like her own father. Great, she already had to deal with one of those, she really didn't need another one. But she could fight, she just didn't have a side. All Dragonmir's was taught how to fight, it was just their fate to know how.

Lilia was happy to be back in her natural form, she brushed her bangs out of her eyes since they was getting in the way. She heard his response and had to look away before she rolled her eyes. She glanced over at Magnus when he answered her that he had to get a few things to work on a new spell, how interesting. She heard Hawk didn't say her name but called her elf. That wasn't respectful, at all. She didn't respond, because she figured that words meant very little when it came down to it. Action was the only thing that was capable at proving a point. She wanted Gareth's head attached to a stick and watch his body burn in the highest of flames. When she notice Hawk started to leave, "It could be fun, plus we might get to kill something." she said, with a shrug. And followed along, quietly. She didn't feel like talking to someone that didn't hold respect for her.
She now found herself still in her more natural form, at the edge of the Forest of Dangerous Things. How exciting, huh? And she heard Lance speak out to the crowd that it was their last chance. She was glad that she always carried her weapons, "Not a chance." she let slip out, into the air. This was going to be tough, and some might be killed. Sounded like a thriller.

Rapunzel smiled back, she almost stepped on his feet a few times and heard him, it made her lightly blush, "I pick up on things fast." she replied to his teasing remark. Then she heard his question, and she had a hunch that he was trying to see if she was the lost sister, atlas she was. "I'm Dimitri's daughter, the one that was kidnapped. If that's where you was getting at." she answered it, she flashed a smile to give him reinsurance that she wasn't upset. She heard him speak of her father, "That's nice to know, Snow's pretty good at it, too." she said, with a light shrug. She didn't know that most girls there didn't fight, just a select few. When you was a girl and fought, you had to be really good to even consider on being noticed. She missed her bow, she wanted to go do something archery like with the few targets that she did manage to get or make. "But I have to get to know my father and my sister." she said, quietly. Then she looked up and noticed that an older guy gave a disappointed glare, she tensed up and took a step away from Henry. She didn't mean any harm, she just wanted someone to understand her. "I'm sorry." she whispered, before listening to what the older guy had to say. She had no idea that Henry was going to lead a team into the forest, she wondered if they was going into The Forest. She use to play in the forest, but not the dangerous part. So many childhood memories skipped through her mind, she missed the few friends she had as she grew up. She was looking at her feet at pure shyness and out of place she felt, she glanced at Henry and saw that he was excited. What if he killed her friends, no. . . he wouldn't, would he? She didn't think the new King was all that bad, but she didn't know the other one . . . Andy? Attius? Arther? yeah, Arthur. She felt like she was trapped, all she wanted to do was run through the forest like she once did as a little kid.

Dimitri had spend his time at the party bragging at some guy, that was lower on the ranks than he, about how he has his other daughter, back. It was fabulous, and he felt superior over the fellow men and women that seemed to crowd around him. He seemed to smirk with every praise escape from their lips. His ego felt as if it was going to explode, and yet it just kept building and building. He looked over when Walter started talking, he clinched his teeth to keep from rolling his eyes, since he had taken away his spot light. He didn't like Walter to begin with, it always seemed like the two of them was competing over the same thing. It annoyed him.

The bird was beginning to give her the creeps.
Guinevere had always liked animals, though she'd never really had the time to have a pet of her own, but she always liked seeing other's pet, or just wild animals in general. But something about the Merlin was. . . well, a little bit creepy. Something about the way that it watched things, it was almost like the way that a human watched things, in Gwen's opinion. She'd caught it staring at Lance most of the day, and overheard Lance talking to Hawk about it. Hawk hadn't seemed concerned about the bird, and while Gwen didn't know Hawk that well, Lance seemed to trust him, and since Gwen trusted Lance;s judgement, she would trust Hawk as well.
Guinevere had worked intently on getting everything ready for the journey into the Forest Of Dangerous Things, wanting to make sure that they had everything that they needed before leaving. Gwen was the type of person that was always cautious and tried to plan ahead and think things through, so she had a mental check list of things she thought that they would need, or things that should be done before leaving. She was anxious to get moving, and even more anxious to find Arthur. But. . . Gwen was also a little nervous about traveling into the Forest. She'd heard the rumors about it, and the fact that the people that had been sent to look for Arthur deeper into the Forest hadn't came back. . . well, that wasn't exactly a comforting thought. She'd never been herself, so she didn't have any idea of what to expect, so she thought it best to expect everything and hope that some of the very bad things popping into her head never happened. Gwen had kept her worries about the Forest to herself, because she knew that Lance had enough on his mind, and Gwen was a big girl. Besides, what choice did they have? They had to find Arthur, and he was somewhere in the Forest. Guinevere tried to convince herself that if Arthur had managed to survive in the Forest for this long, then she and Lance could survive it to find him.
When night fall came, and it was time to make the journey to the Forest, Guinevere had slipped back into her usual confident front, it came easily to her by this point, so she was pretty sure nobody would notice anything. But she wished she could just convince herself as well as everyone else. Gwen walked towards the edge of the Forest, staying in step with Lance, and watched as Hawk an the Merlin flew overhead, before perching on a tree and waited. As they reached where the Forest Of Dangerous Things began, Gwen looked warily at the trees. The Forest gave off a strong, and slightly suffocating, vibe that was darkness personified, and sent a shiver down Gwen's spine. She knew before even stepping foot inside that it lived up to its name. She glanced over at Lance, when he spoke to the others and said that it was their last chance to turn back, and that no one would think less of them if they didn't want to follow them into the Forest. Guinevere wondered who would continue to follow them, if any of them would chicken out and turn back. She wouldn't blame them if they did, of course. There was only two reasons that Gwen was forcing herself to step into the Forest. One was because there wasn't any way that Guinevere would let Lance go into something like this without her, and two was because it was the only way to find Arthur and undo the damage she'd done.
Resigned to those facts, Gwen took a deep breath and blew it out slowly. Looking around as she stayed in step with Lance, Gwen glanced over her shoulder and frowned. They were only a few feet into the forest, and she couldn't see the edge of it anymore. She suddenly got the feeling that finding Arthur would be harder than she'd originally thought. . . and getting out of the Forest after doing so might be even worse than finding Arthur. Not a comforting thought in the slightest. Gwen straightened her spine and looked forward, chewing on the inside of her cheek. "Well, at least they seemed to have picked an appropriate name for it," she muttered to Lance. Guinevere made sure to stay close beside Lance, and watch their surroundings carefully, for any sign of movement. She subtly put her hand on the hilt of her sword as she walked, the cold metal under her fingers was slightly comforting; she was a good fighter, she reminded herself. And Lance was the best fighter that she knew. Surely they could handle whatever was in here.

Magnus bit down on his tongue when Hawk pointed out that his magic wouldn't get him very far when Gareth's army came after his head. Magnus wasn't stupid, he knew it was only a matter of time before that happened, which was why he had placed so many protection spells around his home. But even Magnus knew that his magic had limitations, and that if Gareth's entire army came after him. . . well, Magnus wouldn't be able to hold them all at bay. Sure, he'd take a few with him, but that wasn't much of a comforting thought. But, Magnus had far too much pride to admit that Hawk was right. It was a little painful even admitting it to himself. When Hawk went on to say that if those that were left stood together, they might be able to beat this, and that he should go to save magic, Camelot and himself, Magnus let out a deep sigh. Damn it, Bird Boy was convincing.
Magnus didn't have a chance to reply before Hawk spoke to Lilia, extending the offer to her as well. Magnus was barely listening to that, it didn't involve him and therefore didn't interest him. That was, until he heard Hawk say that he thought Magnus might be afraid of the Forest. Magnus choked, and then glared at Bird Boy. Was he trying to insult him to make him prove him wrong by going with Lancelot and Guinevere? Or was he just trying to insult him general? Magnus had a nice little remark for that, but he didn't have a chance before Hawk left. Oooh, he would get Bird Boy back for that one, he silently decided. But, even Magnus knew that now was not the time to start fighting with an ally. Which, Magnus was annoyed by the fact that he would need allies. He usually preferred to work alone, but he didn't have much choice now, did he?
"Not exactly how I had planned for my day to go," Magnus muttered to himself as he watched Lilia follow after Hawk. But, he reluctantly followed after Hawk as well. There wasn't a chance in hell that Magnus would let people start calling him a coward because he didn't go to the Forest Of Dangerous Things with Lancelot, Guinevere and their band of Misfits.
When night fall came, Magnus found himself at the edge of the Forest Of Dangerous Things. He crossed his arms over his chest, frowning at the Forest. He was curious about it, to say the least. Maybe he could learn some interesting things there. . . at least, he better get something good out of this deal, he thought sarcastically. He hung to the back, watching as Lance and Gwen disappeared into the Forest, hearing Lance say that it was the last chance to turn back. Magnus gave another deep sigh. He was tempted, but not because he was scared of the Forest, but because he didn't like to involve himself in anything where he didn't see that he would get anything good out of it. Well, that wasn't completely true, he realized. He could help get Gareth off the throne. Magnus did hate Gareth with a passion. Sighing, Magnus forced his feet to move and began walking into the Forest, following several steps behind the others.
