Name: Lucas, but most people just call him LukeCode Name: HarryName Gave On Mission: SamAge: Appears 24Species: WizardPower/Abilities: Being a wizard, Lucas has several interesting powers. . . but he likes to keep those secret until he uses them. Mostly though, Luke tries to just fight without using his magic.Personality: Lucas has a relaxed personality, for the most part. There's not a lot that surprises him, and he usually just goes with the flow. He doesn't have much of a sense of humor, however, he has a bad habit of taking things too seriously. Sometimes a joke will go right over his head and it takes him several moments to realize that you're joking. Overall, he's a very nice guy, that's always willing to help out anyone in need. But he does have a little bit of a hidden dark side though it's rarely seen.Appearance: History: Luke has been around for a long time, but he's actually fairly young, compared to most of the beings he knows. He was around during the Salem Witch Trails, and that was how he lost his mother. She was found out for being a witch. . . actually it was Luke's own father that turned her over. Luke wasn't in Salem at the time, but when word reached him that his mother had been arrested for being a witch, Luke tried to get back in time to help her. His father caught him before he could help his mother escape, and by the time that Luke got away, it was already too late. Luke's father had slipped a binding potion into her drink without her knowledge, and bound her powers so that she couldn't use them to escape. Luke had been raised by his mother, and only barely knew his father. His parents had never married, and he only saw his father a total of three times during his entire childhood. He'd always thought that his father was a cold and bitter man, but he had never expected that he would have his mother hanged for being a witch, nor has Luke ever understood why he did. Luke's biggest fear is that he'll turn out like his father, and has always tried to be nothing like him. That was part of the reason that Luke joined RINS, because he thought it would allow him to do some good in the world.Extra: . . . .

Name: James Remington Sanders III, but most people call him Remy Code Name: The Gremlin due to his uncanny ability to make electronic equipment go haywire when he's in a bad mood. Age: 20, Species: Human with an exceptional ability, there is some wizard blood in his family but that was ages ago. But every now and then someone in his family is borne with an ability. His grandfather was a telekinetic and the condition seems to skip a generation. Power/Abilities: Remy is a technopath, he can control even the most sophisticated technology with only his mind, anything that runs on electricity is vulnerable to him, whether it's broken or working perfectly. He can, to an extent, communicate with technology, access someones GPS in their cell phone to track them down, hack into live camera footage, as long as the camera is being feed to a computer, and shut down security systems with only a thought. Even without his powers Remy is skilled hacker and able to do things with technology most people can't even begin to understand. Personality: You know that stereotype of geeks who are brilliant with machines and horrible around other people? Remy's never really been a people person, they're annoying, most of them don't even function on the same level as him and the just don't get him. People just tend to get in his way, sure he'll use them if he can but he's never had anything close to a healthy relationship with anyone. He has to be the best at what he does and he will never except failure. He's not particularly loyal but X pays him well and provides him with interesting and challenging work which is really all he wants. He doesn't care for physical violence and his aim with a gun isn't all that great. Though if you do piss him off he has other ways to get back at you. Appearance: 2.bp.blogspot.com/-JCZwg2rskfw/TZB9ibdK_tI/AAAAAAAAAN4/3AqZ2txeR_E/s1600/seth+cohen.jpg [/img] History: Remy's parents were ridiculously wealthy, running a Fortune 500 company and as a child he was given everything and anything he could want. His parents were rarely around and he spent most of his childhood ordering the help around and having his every demand met. Probably not the best way to deal with a child that already thought he was the greatest kid ever but its all in the past. He doesn't have too much contact with his parents but he does have a very generous trust fund. Extra: Remy is an expert at getting past security systems, computer hacking, and anything dubious you could imagine doing with technology.

Name: Phoenix Code Name: Shukaku (the one tailed beast that Gaara had in Naruto) Age: 22, she may or maynot be that age ;D Species: Sandman Power/Abilities: Don't you know what a sandman does, they put you to sleep. Anyone, everything, you name it, it shall sleep. They have the option of letting you wake up, or just letting you get your fulls night rest, or how ever long the sandman concentrates on you. Oh, don't try to out right attack her, you won't land a punch. because where ever a violent thing touches her, it's path turns to sand and regroups to form her. Good luck. Oh, one last thing, she might be invisible. Personality: Phoenix isn't a people person, in-fact, if someone annoys them, she just puts them asleep and walks away. Putting them out enough time for her to get out of sight. When fighting, she can be pretty ruthless, cunning and a little too mean. It's almost as if she's doing it to cover up her tracks. She never leaves evidence that she's been there. So when she kills, it's like the person committed suicide. She's not very good with flirting, but she is capable of being friendly, she just has to try. Appearance: History: Phoenix is misunderstood little thing, she's a rouge and hasn't been able to play well with others. She's been one of the spies top villains, pretty much next to X and his little gang. She's more than just a pretty face, she's dangerous. Extra: Good luck.

the scene was a younger version of herself, playing in a sandbox but there was a younger version of what appeared to be xander That was the thought that took her out of dreams, which made her remember the first day on the this mission. She was put on the mission about four and half years ago. She was able to stay clear from X finding out that she and her crew was spies until an accident happened. And that was three years ago, and she was cunning enough to still be alive today. Her eyes was still closed, she had a burning feeling that it was not even close to time getting up. So there she was, from what she remembered is her laying and she hoped that she was clothed, this time. Her hand was intertwined with X’s, she slightly smiled in her dazed trance. She turned over on her side, laying her head on X’s chest, snuggling up against him. She just wanted to keep sleeping, but that’s when she heard the slightest noise and scented something unfamiliar in their presents, something that just didn’t seem right, she lightly rolled back over. She slipped out of bed, looking down and letting out a sign, she quickly slipped back on her clothes and ran a hand through her hair. She slipped through X’s bed room door and into the hallway, she started walking towards the living room. She knew it wasn’t the new recruits and she’s smart enough to know that they’re agents. She hasn’t decided if she would turn them in or stay on their side. She had broke a RINS law she could already feel herself falling in love with him. Even if she tried to hid it from herself, but that wasn’t the point right now. As she rounded the corner, she found herself facing a red headed, her nose twitched and paused, Sandman.
Phoenix appeared into what seemed like a house but she knew better, she already figured that it was X’s playhouse. She picked up a photograph, examining it and didn’t bother going invisible as she heard footsteps near. Her eyes meet a brunette’s, she smiled, “Well good morning, do you need sleep?” she asked, tilting her head slightly to the side.
“Eh..morning, and no, I’m fine. Are you a new recruit?” she asked, she was slightly confused, she didn’t remember X telling her that their was going to be a Sandman on the team. That would help them out in the long run, that’s when she heard her answer.
“No.” she said, with a light chuckle, then adding, “I just want to play.” she said, her smile turning into a smirk.
“Hmm no.” she said, then ludging and ended up going through Pheonix she felt like their was sand in her mouth, “Nice trick.” she said, picking herself and onto her feet. She was glaring at her.
Phoenix felt herself regroup and turned around, looking at miss anger issues, “And I thought I had issues.”
“Oh you still do.” Violent said, glancing over to see that the shy girl entered the room.

Allison had been up for a few hours, just doing the whole personal needs. She was currently in the kitchen when she heard a disturbance in the living area. She picked up her cup of coffee. She slowly made her way across the path to find Violent and some red headed girl, except the girl’s hair was much brighter than her own. She was wearing a white sundress. She also had a little flower in her hair, but she was confused, “What’s your name?” she asked, looking at the bright red head.
Phoenix glanced over towards the other female figure, “I’m Phoenix, the sandman.” she said, with a light smirk.
Allie just gave her a smile, “Are you joining us?” she asked, and watched the Phoenix lightly shake her head. “That’s too bad, you could be of us of us.” she replied back to her.

Stacy found herself waking up to the little issue, she walked down the hall to spot her cousin, Jessica. Mentally shaking her head, correcting herself Violet. She just shrugged it off and went outside, the building wrapped around a gardening, outside pool and anything else out door worthy. It even had the option of having an open or closed room. She walked the path to find the small garden and sat down on one of the benches. She arrived yesterday morning, she was a day in the job but she could already feel her genetics telling her that she was on the wrong side, or was she? She didn’t know if the spy’s really trusted her. And thought they just sent her because they was shorthanded or something, along those lines. She just needed some piece of mind. She actually enjoyed someones presents, it was fascinating but it was frustrating on her current beliefs.

Maddox didn’t get their just yesterday, he’s been there for about a month and has slowly worked his way into one of X’s favorites. That is a very important thing to do, if you want to get the job done fast. But he also liked having attention. It was a big deal for him. But right now, he was in Eagle form flying around the perimeter, just making sure everything is at bay before landing outside and walking in the door. He walked right past Phoenix, Allie and even, Violet un-phased by their little disbute.
Violet let out a sigh, “I guess since you’re a bad guy, you’re a guest. Make a move on violence and you are out of here.” she warned, ushering her to have a seat on the couch. Now all the bitch needed to do was pass X’s observation and whatnot. But glanced over at her with a smirk, “Can you wake up people?”
Phoenix nodded, “Everything.”
“Must be pretty old, then” Maddox slipped, with a chuckle.
“You can think that, silly boy.” she responded.
Allie had been nibbling on her lip, “Keep your voices down, you’re going to wake up everyone.” she said in a whispered, and in return everyone just gave her a funny look. She just walked down the hall, in silence.
OOC: there's the starter, you have a character idea on those last minute ideas. feel free, let's enjoy the issues on all that is role-play.

Name: JaxonCode Name: ScorpioName Gave On Mission: DeanAge: Appears 26Species: UnknownPowers/Abilities: Jax is a very good fighter, whether it be hand to hand combat, or with weapons, he doesn't lose many fights. He has good aim with a gun, and his favorite gun is an old colt that he never goes anywhere without. He prefers to fight without using his powers, but he does now and then, his main power is telekinesis, but he also has Cryokinesis, which is the ability to create and/or manipulate ice. And the power of Deflection. Plus a few other hidden ones.Personality: Jax has a very relaxed and laid back personality. He never seems to take anything seriously and is always cracking a sarcastic remark about one thing or another. He usually has his signature crooked grin on his face, and is known for rolling his eyes and shrugging of pretty much anything and everything. He can be cocky at times, and that occasionally gets him in trouble. He has a quick temper, and had gotten into more than his fair share of fights over the years. But overall, Jax is a good guy and very loyal to those that he considers friends. Jax is very outgoing, he's usually willing to talk with anyone and is usually sort of flirty around girls. Jax is pretty reckless, always jumping into things head first and asking questions later.Appearance: History: Jax has been around for awhile, but he isn't one of the oldest beings at RINS by any means. In fact, he's only two years older than his cousin, Lucas, if that gives you any idea to what his age might be. Jax's parents died when he was only a little boy, and he was raised by his aunt, and alongside his cousin Luke. Jax was close to his cousin and aunt, but he moved off on his own at the young age of 16, because he wanted to track down the people responsible for killing his parents. While he was looking for them, Jax sort of became a mercenary, so to speak. He would help out when it was needed, and would kill any evil beings causing death and destruction. After news reached him that his aunt had been hanged for being a witch, Jax went back to Salem, but by the time he got here, Luke was gone. It was years before Jax finally tracked down his cousin, and when he did, Jax wasn't the boy he remembered. So, Jax spent the next few years trying to get Luke to go back to his old self. He's had some success, but he still sees that there's something seriously different with Luke, he just tries to act like he doesn't. He joined RINS when his cousin did, both to keep an eye on him and because. . . well, Jax thought it seemed like fun.Extra: . . .

The sound of muffled voices slowly pulled Luna out of her sleep, but she kept her eyes firmly squeezed shut. She really didn't want to get up yet. She'd barely gotten any sleep the night before, having spent most of the night out on an errand X had sent her on. Which, really, Luna hated taking orders from X, but she had no choice right now, since refusing would blow her cover. And she'd worked hard to make sure X wasn't suspicious of her. Which was easier said than done because X seemed to be suspicious of everyone. Luna laid perfectly still for a moment, the more she focused, the more she could make out some of what was being said. One of the pros to being a vampire, she had great hearing. It was also a con, however, since that had been what woke her up after only two and half hours of sleep. Damn it.
Her curiosity began to get the best of her, though. It sounded like there was something going on downstairs. Like a new arrival or something. Luna sighed. Might as well go see what's going on, she decided. Prying her eyes open, Luna turned her head to look toward the window. Bright early morning sunshine was creeping through the curtains and telling Luna that it was way too early. Especially with her species. One good thing Luna had going for her, however, was that she was a very old vampire, so she had gotten to the point where she could tolerate weak sunlight. And, a couple centuries ago, a witch had gave Luna a necklace that allowed her to go into direct sunlight without burning up. The necklace was a simple gold chain with a sapphire gem that had been enchanted with a spell, and Luna never took it off so she didn't accidentally get caught in the sun without it. It was one of only two pieces of jewelry Luna wore, the second being her wedding ring. While Luna was at her strongest at night, she had managed to adjust her schedule to be that of everyone else rather than strictly nocturnal a long time ago. Still, Luna's first instinct when she saw sunshine was to crawl under the covers and go to sleep.
Shaking off the urge, Luna yawned and sat up, rubbing her eyes and trying to wake herself up. Didn't do much good, but she'd probably wake up in a few moments once she got to moving around. She turned her head, looking over towards Dusty. "It better be something big going on to wake us up this early," she muttered, "like some big giant knocked down the front door and is currently doing cartwheels in the kitchen, while singing opera," she grumbled. Hmmm. . . well, that didn't make much sense. But Luna did tend to get a little goofy when she was sleep deprived. Running her hand through her hair, Luna swung her legs over the side of the bed and stood up, continuing to grumble under her breath as she disappeared into the connected bathroom, closing the door behind her.
Luna moved fairly quickly, only taking a few minutes to take a fast shower that helped to wake her up. And then putting on just a little basic make-up before throwing on a pair of faded blue jeans and a black tank top and her favorite boots. Leaving the bathroom, Luna walked back into the bedroom, and over to the dresser where she had left her weapons before going to bed last night. She started putting them in their respective holsters and hiding places while she waited on Dusty, so they could go down to see what was so important the entire freaking household was up and talking about it.

Kyra grabbed her pillow, raised it up, and put it over her head, sinking down farther into the mattress and trying to tune out the noise coming from down the hall. A bunch of people were yakking and it had woken her up, when all she wanted to do was sleep. Her head was killing her, it felt like there was a little man with a jackhammer inside it, with the jackhammer on full force and at any second it was going to crack her head open. Maybe she shouldn't have had that last drink last night, she thought. Too late now. After a couple of minutes, the yakking continued and Kyra groaned, forcing herself to sit up. They just weren't going to shut up, were they? Kyra rolled her eyes. "I remember why I hate people," she muttered to herself.
Forcing herself to stand up, Kyra headed into the bathroom, and took an extra hot shower. The warm water helped to ease the pounding in her head a little, but no where near enough. After her shower, Kyra only put on a little make-up, not really in the mood to deal with it, then threw on a pair of dark blue jeans and a black t-shirt that had a skull and crossbones across the chest. Leaving the bathroom, Kyra went into the bedroom, grabbing her weapons and heading out the door. Instead of heading in the direction that the voices were coming from, Kyra headed down to the kitchen. Going straight over to the counter and grabbing a mug out a cabinet and filling it full of coffee. Taking a long sip, and then another, Kyra slowly started to feel a little more alive. It was best Kyra got her coffee before talking with anyone. It was dangerous to speak to Kyra before she had her coffee, especially this freaking early.
Kyra turned and left the kitchen, heading back in the direction she'd heard the voices talking. When she got there, she found a small group of people, along with some chick she'd never seen before. Kyra cringed, the new girl's hair color hurt her eyes. "Did I miss a memo or something?" she asked sarcastically, rolling her eyes. She hated when new people were suddenly added to the team. As it was, Kyra was already having enough trouble keeping the people of X's group straight. And then there was her own team of RINS spies, that had their real names, their codes names and the names that they went by while working undercover. Trying to keep all of the names straight was already giving Kyra a headache.
Kyra took another sip of her coffee, looking over the rim and spotted Max, Or Maddox, as he was going by right now. Kyra rolled her eyes. Ugh, it was too early in the morning to be dealing with him.

Jaxon always did well on little to no sleep. He had spent most of his life running on only a couple of hours sleep, so it was something he was well use to at this point. So the fact that he'd only went to sleep three hours before he got woke up by some chatter going on downstairs wasn't too big a deal. Jax dragged himself out of bed and into his bathroom, taking a minute to splash a little cold water on his face to help him wake up. He switched out the sweat pants and tank top that he wore to bed for his favorite faded blue jeans, gray t-shirt and grabbed his leather jacket on the way out the door. Pausing after he closed his door to check and make sure that his colt was secure in its holster. It was, so Jax slid the jacket on and walked over to the door directly next to his own. He didn't bother to knock, instead he waved his hand at the door, unlocking it and quietly pushed the door open.
The bedroom was dark, except for a thin ray of early morning sunshine that had found its way through the curtains, and lit the room a little. His cousin, Lucas, was still asleep on his bed, a faint snore the only sound in the room. Jax crept across the room, not making a sound, and reached the window. Then he grabbed the cord and suddenly yanked the blinds open. "Raise and shine, Princess!" Jax said loudly at the same time he yanked the blinds open and sunshine flooded the room.
Lucas groaned, pulling the covers over his head. "Seriously dude, do you have to do that?" Luke muttered.
Jax grinned. "Of course! It's the perfect wake up call, isn't it?" he asked.
Lucas rolled his eyes, rolling over and turning his back towards his cousin. "We got back a little less than three hours ago last night. Shouldn't you be asleep?" he grumbled. Of course, it didn't really surprise Luke, he knew Jax hardly ever slept. The last one down and the first one up, was usually how Jax was.
"We got three full hours sleep. That's enough," Jax said. He walked over and grabbed the covers, yanking them off of Lucas. "Besides, there's something going on downstairs. You don't want to miss out on the fun, do you? It could just be what we need to break the case open," he said. He doubted it would be that easy, but you never knew.
Lucas sighed, glaring at Jax. "Fine, I'll be down in a minute," he said, climbing out of bed and heading into the bathroom.
"Don't take too long!" Jax called after him. He left the bedroom, but then hung around in the hallway outside Lucas' door, leaning against the wall and shoving his hands into the pockets of his jeans. About ten minutes later, the door opened and Lucas walked out, his hair still wet from his shower but at least he looked fully awake and ready for the day. "About time, slow poke," Jax said, pushing away from the wall.
"You know, you could have went on without me," Luke said, rolling his eyes.
Jax grinned. "And miss a minute of getting to annoy my favorite cousin? Never!" Jax said, giving Lucas' shoulder a shove to get him walking down the hallway.
"You need to find a new hobby," Lucas muttered, shaking his head. A few moments later, Luke and Jax stumbled across a small group, including a new girl that neither of them recongized. Jax and Luke exchanged a quick look. Both wondering if it was someone new X had called in, or someone that the agency had sent. But if that were the case, they hadn't bothered to warn them. Luke was instantly suspicious, while Jax was intrigued. Looked like the morning was off to an interesting start.

Name: Faith Code name: River mission: Dani Age: 20, people are really unsure if that's her real age or if she's older. Species: has yet to be determinedPower: she's a natural healer, able to heal anything as long as you have enough blood for her to do so. She's very good, her powers are very ancient-like. She also is able to tap into peoples minds to give them a message, it's like seeing her with everything fuzzy behind her and she'll say something and then disappear. it's quite fascinating. Personality: She can be a very nice, sweet and most induring person. But she can turn into a sarcastic bitch, if you cross her. She's pretty loyal to any form of friends that she makes along the way. She's also pretty flirty when she decides to give someone the chance. And she's pretty determined to help keep this...chosen one alive. Appearance: History: She grew up in a jumbled up family getting constantly hastled about how they lived. She lived underground, and her parents was always casting things on her. Needless to say, it increased her powers but it does overly wear her out faster than stuff. She's very...developed. She signed up in the RINS and ended up on the mission being sent to Z's, she finds everyone there interesting and she's often found studying their movements. She's the nurse/doctor in a way. Extra: she carries a staff, it makes her range further and it looks like she has other stuff but i'm lazy ooc; yes, that's billie but in dani form. thought we might need her.

Dani was on the shipment with Maddox, she had gotten quite comfortable with her given name. It got to where she just took the name, they came up with so if she didn't like it, it'll be all natural, so she could change it. She was on one of the upper levels, so she was lucky that she couldn't hear the chatter that had been going on down stairs but she was reading in her magic book. This same book was pretty neat, the words didn't show up to anyone but her. She can make the descion on who gets to see what's in it or not. She had already taken a shower, and got dressed in her dress that she was most confident in and was sure, it would turn some heads but she didn't think it was too over the top. She opened the door and walked down the hall spotting the cousins, she liked how they bickered, it was so cute to her. She followed closely behind and almost froze when she saw the new girl, she's heard of her and if anything, this could end badly for them if Phoenix suddenly decided to kill them all. She waved and took a step backwards and ended up bumping into Lucas/Sam, she looked over with a half smile, "Sorry, Sam"

By the time that Lilith heard something going on downstairs, she'd already been awake for just under an hour. Lilith had always been a morning person, despite her usual habit of staying up for most of the night. And had already showered, dressed and was just putting on her favorite gold hoop earrings when she heard people talking. Lilith pursed her lips, wondering what was going. Sounded interesting, anyway. Never one to miss out on the fun, Lilith stood up and walked across the bedroom to her door, and slipped out into the hallway. It only took her a moment to find the group. Apparently there was a new arrival. Interesting.
Lilith tilted her head, looking from the girl to the others gathered there. Well, it looked like the day was off to an interesting start, Lilith thought. She was starting to get use to X's group increasing in numbers though. There were several new members that had joined after Lilith. Some of them, Lilith liked, while others Lilith didn't trust for some reason. It was almost as if they were hiding something. Then again, who wasn't hiding something? Lilith certainly had her own little secrets that she had kept hidden away in the darkness of her past.
Lilith crossed her arms over her chest, leaning her hip against the wall and silently watched what was going on. She was pretty sure X would be coming in soon to see what was going on, and she could find out who the new girl was then. At the moment, Lilith didn't want to get involved. Especially since it looked like Violet and the new girl were in the middle of some sort of. . . er- disagreement. To put it mildly. Lilith didn't want to get involved in that if it was at all possible. She could fight when she had to, but Lilith mostly just liked to sit out on fights.
Onyx slipped in through the back door of the mansion, trying to be quiet so she didn't wake anyone up. Not because she was trying to be nice, but because she didn't want anyone questioning her on where she'd been all night. Onyx had left early yesterday morning, and was only just getting back. She'd had some stuff to take care of, and some of that included contacting an agent at RINS that hadn't been sent on the mission. Onyx had to be careful to not get caught, and she felt confident that she hadn't been. She even doubted that anyone had missed her being gone for nearly 24 hours, since she hadn't exactly made any friends since she began 'working' for X.
Walking through the kitchen, she heard muffled voices and frowned. Great, what had she missed? Onyx hated the thought of missing out on something while she'd been gone. After all of the time she'd put in on this case, she damn well wanted to be there when it was busted open. Reaching the group, Onyx instantly recongized that there was some new chick there, along with a few of her fellow agents, and a few of X's guys. "What did I miss?" Onyx asked.
"I'm not sure, I'm still waiting to find out what's going on myself," Lilith said. Lilith stood to Onyx's right, and Onyx barely glanced at the other woman when she answered her. Onyx wasn't that fond of most of the people that worked for X, but Lilith was one of her least favorites.
"Big surprise," Onyx muttered under her breath. She crossed her arms over her chest and was just getting ready to ask the new girl who the hell she was and what she was doing there, when she heard someone else enter the room. Onyx looked over and sighed. Great, it was X finally making an appearance, she thought sarcastically, rolling her eyes. It was so tempting for Onyx to just kick his butt and get it over with, instead of this cat and mouse game of playing undercover. But, Onyx had to follow the rules of the agency, so she couldn't do anything. Yet, at least. Shaking her head, Onyx looked back towards the new girl, waiting to see what happened.

X had always been a light sleeper, which had came in very handy over the years. Especially in his younger days. . . but that was a story for another time. Well, maybe. X didn't talk about his past often, so chances of hearing about it were pretty slim. Being a light sleeper meant that when Violet rolled over closer to him, it was just enough movement to pull X out of his dream and back to reality. X pried one eye open about half way, glancing down at Violet for a second. The corners of his mouth quirked upwards a little, and he dropped his arm around her waist. Closing his eyes and settling a little farther down into the mattress. He knew that he'd have to get up soon. Start the day and see what those that he'd sent out last night had found out. Send a few more out on other missions. And so on. X liked to keep his little group of misfits on a fairly tight lease, because he thought that kept things running as smooth as possible. You couldn't let them just run amok, otherwise there would be no order and without order nothing would get done. Plus, X wasn't stupid. He had a lot of powerful beings working for him, and if he wasn't careful, someone just might try to take over his position as the leader of it. That, of course, would only happen over X's dead body. And he certainly had no plans of kicking the bucket anytime soon.
But, for the moment, X was in no hurry to get up. Once he and Letty got up and went out into the rest of the mansion, X had to slip back into his usual front. It was rare for him to have a few moments to just be himself, and to get to enjoy spending time with Violet. Since nobody knew about their relationship, it meant that they had to sneak around. Which was sometimes easier said than done since X's entire gang lived in the mansion that also served as their headquarters. It was easier to keep an eye on everyone, and it was large enough that everyone had plenty of room to themselves. But, it also meant that X and Violet had to be extra careful about not getting caught because there always seemed to be someone looking for one of them for one reason or another.
X had just about fallen asleep again when the mattress shifted, which told him that Letty had slipped out of the bed. X pretended to still be asleep, curious what she was up to. It seemed a little too early for Violet to be getting up. Violet quietly slipped out of the room, and X sat up, running his hand through his hair. Now what was she up to? X was a naturally suspicious person, and he didn't trust many people. Out of his gang, there were only a few select members that X actually trusted. Violet, of course, was one of them. Somehow the girl had managed to get past X's walls and get him to trust her. Which, had taken some time, especially after he'd found out that she was a spy. She'd claimed to be a double spy and really on his side, and told him what agency she had been working for. Something called International Secret Society. Needless to say, X was not happy when he found this out. But. . . eventually, X had believed her. Obviously, since that was three years ago, and she was still there in the mansion. Over the three years, Violet had earned X's trust. But, there were still sometimes that X got the feeling that she was still hiding something from him. Most of the time, he brushed it off as just him being cautious, because of the whole spy thing. But there were also sometimes that X wondered if he was letting himself believe her because he wanted to, and not because he should. It was a confusing thought, and not one X had an answer to yet. There were a few of the new members that were slowly starting to grow on X, but he didn't fully trust any of them. Some he did trust more than others, of course. But the only one besides Violet that X fully trusted was his best friend, Andy. And that was because he'd known him the longest, and Andy had proved to be trustworthy.
Dropping his hand, X sighed and forced himself to stand up. Might as well just get the day started and head downstairs. Plus, X was starting to get an odd feeling. Like there was something slightly off in the mansion. He couldn't put his finger on it at first, but then he realized that it was because there was someone in the mansion that he didn't know. It was weird, but each of the beings there gave off different vibes that X had gotten use to. All of the different beings roaming around meant that there was a massive amount of power in the mansion. There was something different there. X rolled his eyes. "What now?" he muttered under his breath. As if there wasn't enough for X to deal with, now someone had to come into the mansion uninvited. Great. not.
Shaking his head, X quietly stood up, and then became a blur. One of this abilities was to move quickly and that made him invisible to the human eye, and a blur to a supernatural. It was a handy little ability though, because it let X do things that normally took several minutes and do them in just under one minute. Which was one exactly 59 seconds later, X had showered, dressed and was walking out of his bedroom. It had only been a couple of minutes since Violet had left, but X thought that was enough time to keep anyone from noticing that they made their appearances too close together. He followed the sound of muffled voice until he found who was talking. Also along with it, the odd feeling got stronger, telling him that the uninvited guest was in the room as well. X quickly scanned the room, and saw a few of the newbies, along with other members that had been there a little longer. It only took a second for him to spot Violet, who had already there. And the new girl. It was hard to miss her with that brightly colored head of hers. X had never been fond of bright colors, he always dressed in black, and his room only had dark colors decorating it. Bright colors hurt his eyes. One of the few downsides to his species, sadly.
"Well, it would have been nice if someone had told me there was a party going on here," X said dryly, his voice full of sarcasm. He glanced at the others there, along with them Violet, but was careful to not look at her any longer than he had anyone else. Then, he focused on the uninvited guest. X tilted his head. It took him a second to place her species, but he figured out that she was a sandman. Well, that was a rare one to come across. X had met a few, but it had been several centuries since he'd crossed paths with one. He had never liked them. X took a step forward, stopping just a little away from her.
"I think you've forgotten your manners. You don't just walk into someone's home without permission," X said dryly. He glared at her, crossing his arms over his chest. "It's also a very dangerous thing to do. Especially if the owner doesn't like trespassers," he added, making sure the underline threat wasn't too subtle for her to miss. "You have exactly one minute to tell me what you're doing here, or you'll be thrown out on your ass," X said. He looked at his watch, then back to the girl. "Starting now," he said.
