Name: David Gray Code Name: Seven Name Gave On Mission: Zane Age: 29 Species: Let's just say he's not 100% human, not even close. Power/Abilities: David is much stronger than any normal human and seems to have unlimited endurance. He's faster, smarter, and has a much quicker reaction time than a human ever could. He also has an Eidetic memory and has trained hard to become an excellent spy. David is unaffected by things like pain or fear, though it's useful for him to keep that secret so he fakes it when he need to. He keeps what he is a secret because it could be dangerous for him if the truth got out. Personality: It's hard to say what he's really like, he never gets close to people and his personality seems to change by the mission, he always seems to be playing a part rather than being honest. In fact David has never been honest a day in his life, and when he's not on a mission he's cold and distant. He doesn't exactly like to be around people but he can fake being friendly and likable when it suits him. David is always logical and has never had a genuine emotional reaction to anything in his life. Some people might accuse him of being some kind of sociopath, as he is skilled at lying, faking emotions while being emotionless, and reacting with cold logic to most things. But David isn't cruel, he doesn't cause pain for enjoyment and when he has to kill it is always quick. For his current mission he'll act as if he is nice, friendly guy, maybe make a few jokes and get into a few fights. What ever seems to be the expected thing to do. All he really cares about is getting his job done, nothing comes before the mission. Appearance: i185.photobucket.com/albums/x142/gadgetguy120/ZaneDonovanGadgetRunes.jpg [/img] History: Very little is known of his past to anyone who isn't David himself and he plans to keep it that way. He has been a spy for several years now and does not appear to age. Extra: David takes his code name from his personal hero, James Bond, as in 007. Seven also happens to be an important number to him.

Conor woke up, yet again, to the sound of loud barking in his ear and slobbery tongue all over his face. He gave the dog a hard shove knocking it off the bed and back on the floor where it belonged. “Patty, you wanker shut the hell up.” He muttered as he put the pillow over his head. The dog, St. Patrick, was still barking and Conor was a bit surprised the barking didn't hurt his head more, he should have head splitting hangover after all that whiskey. St. Patrick was now barking and scratching at the door which meant unless Conor wanted the huge beast to piss on his shoes again he'd have to go let the dog out side. He managed to get out of bed, then realized why he wasn't hung over, he was still pretty drunk, he hadn't slept long enough to sober up. He was thankful for that at least. He still had on his jeans and t-shirt from the night before and he smelled like a dive bar. The sweat and smell of liquor clung to him but he didn't feel like changing clothes or showering for now, so he opened the door to his room and the dog bolted out and down the stairs, barking as he ran. Conor shook his head and looked around for his jacket from last night. He picked it up off the floor and searched through it's pockets. He found a phone number from that girl who'd been all over him last night. He smiled at that thought, he'd gotten a good meal from that one. He crumpled up the paper and tossed it in the trash. In another pocket he found his flask and he drank the tiny bit of whiskey that was left in it then tossed it onto his bed. Finally he found what he was looking for, his pack of cigarettes, but his lighter seemed to missing. “Damn bitch stole my lighter.” He muttered as he tossed the jacket back on the floor and headed downstairs.
When he got downstairs there was some new girl and a commotion going on, making Conor wish he'd stayed upstairs. St. Patrick ran in from another room barking like a mad dog and then continued to run around until Conor finally let the dog outside. Conor stayed away from the living room since that's where all the people were and he didn't feel very social right now. He looked around in the kitchen for a lighter, finally found one and lit himself up a cigarette. He'd been told a few times not to smoke inside, he tended to pass out with his cigarette still lite sometimes after all, but he didn't really care for rules. He started making himself a sandwich and a cup of coffee with a bit of whiskey in it. He really didn't want to sober up, not with all this commotion going on in the house. He poured some dog food into the huge food bowl and then poured some water into St. Patrick’s water bowl. Then he took a bite from the sandwich he'd made and went to go let the dog back inside. St. Patrick nearly knocked him over as he jumped up and put his paws on Conor's shoulders and licked his face before running over it his food bowl. “Yeah you're welcome.” He muttered as he wiped the slobber of his face and headed back into the kitchen.

Andrew had been up for a while now, he'd finished his work early last night and so he'd gone to bed early. It was rare to have a spare moment for sleep so he took those moments when the came. A lot of people spent there nights parting or something but Andy was only interested in work. He didn't really know most of the others in the house since he really socialized with them, not because he wasn't friendly but he was always focused on something. He preferred to leave getting to know the recruits to X, that's why he was the boss after all. Andy had headed out early to go for swim, he liked to start his mornings with a few laps in the pool. He'd only been outside for a little while when he heard someone else come outside the house. He stopped swimming and looked over at the house, sounded like something was going on in there but it really wasn't his problem so he just decided to stay outside until things mellowed out in there. He looked over at the woman who was outside, he didn't recognize her at all so he figured she must be knew. He headed over to the bench she was sitting at and sat down next to her.
“Hey, you must be new here, don't think I've seen you around. I'm Andy.” He said introducing himself. He usually didn't do the whole meet and greet with the newbies but she was totally gorgeous he had to at least say hi.

Dusty woke up as soon Luna sat up. She mentioned something about a giant singing opera and Dusty had to laugh at that. “Very unlikely, Giant's can barely put together a simple sentence I doubt they could manage something as challenging as signing opera.” He said it probably wasn't a giant, he had seen one for centuries, and he hoped to keep it that why, giants were obnoxious. While Luna was in the bathroom Dusty got out of bed and grabbed some clothes for the day. He looked out the window and smiled, it was so bright outside, looked like it was going to be a nice day. He wondered what sort of illegal activity they'd be involved with today. Dusty didn't like doing crime it made him feel on edge, like he was going to get caught even though he was supposed to be doing this to help catch them. He'd be glad when they finally got enough evidence to put these criminals behind bars where they belonged and when he could stop taking orders from a scumbag like X. That guy really bugged Dusty and it was hard not to show it.
When Luna, or Valkry as he was supposed to call her during this mission, left the bathroom he went in and took a shower, brushed his teeth and got dressed. He accidentally shocked himself when he went to turn the water off after brushing his teeth. “Ow” He muttered. He still did that sometimes around water it was a bit annoying. He left the bathroom and saw Luna putting away some weapons. “How you'd your work go last night?” He asked giving her a small smile. He'd almost forgotten about the commotion downstairs when he heard barking, more than likely Conor's dog. “What you want to bet we've got another housemate.” He asked, it seemed like new people were showing up everyday now.

Remy had stayed up all night killing zombies, on his Xbox of course. Who needs sleep when you've got a mini fridge full of red bull. When one of the zombies got him from behind he started shouting profanities at his flat screen which then began turning on and off. “Dammit.” He shouted, he hated when he lost control of his power. He finally calmed down enough and turned the tv and the Xbox off with his mind, grabbed the last slice of the pizza he'd ordered a few nights ago and headed downstairs. His mini fridge was all out of red bull but there could be a can or two downstairs in the kitchen. He paused for a second and sniffed his shirt, yeah he should probably shower and change first.
Twenty minutes later Remy had finished his slice of pizza, showered and changed close, and then he headed downstairs only to hear some sort of argument in the living room. Since he heard barking in the kitchen and didn't want to get run over by Conor's dog he went into the living room to see what was going on. There was some girl with bright red hair who was apparently having words with there nefarious leader. He headed over to wear Allie was, because out of the house she was usually the nicest and truthfully Remy had a tiny crush on her. “Hey Allie, what's going on? We got a new recruit or what?” He asked making an attempt to be friendly.

David, or Zane as he went by during this undercover mission, had been working all night, filling out his reports and other paperwork, compiling his evidence against X and his gang. David never slept, he did need it so he used his time get as much work done as possible. He used all his time efficiently when could, he knew reports and paperwork were just as important to putting the bad guys away as undercover work and the other more exciting elements of his job. After he'd finished his work he watched Diamonds are Forever, he always thought he could learn something from the greatest spy on film, James Bond, and it did sort seem fitting. He had every Bond film on his laptop, even the not so good ones. It wasn't long after the credits started rolling when he heard a argument going on downstairs. David closed the laptop and headed downstairs and into the living room. X was having words with a woman with bright orange hair, a sandman, which David decided wasn't that big a threat to him. What could a sandman possibly do to him, he never slept after all. It was such a human thing to do, David was above that. He kept quite though and watched to see what would happen.

Pheonix really did like her hair, it was natural and came with her species. She looked around as the all different types of species that was around in the room and area. She just smirked because she could put them all to sleep, pretty easily. She felt someone step closer than the others, she glanced towards the guy that she's heard of his name, X and that he had a spy problem a few years ago. She wouldn't doubt it if the spies would try that same idiotic routine. She heard him tell her that she forgot her manners and that she walked in, "I didn't walk in, I appeared in here." she corrected him. She was going to tell him what she was there for, but he started getting this thing called an attitude and she thought about offing him and taking over his little crew, but let out an irritated sigh and decided that he may be some use, "Well, hello to you, too." she started, then smiled, "I figured that you may need someone like me. I mean, who do you know can knock out any creature and kill them?" she wagered. She wasn't very good at speaking to people, it was the whole talking thing and she was just better at everyone else, so she didn't understand why anyone else was necessarily most of the time. But killing a spy, that was a thrill.
Violet didn't like most people but that's because of how her background was, but maybe because Pheonix seemed like she was trouble to the spies, that she knew that was there. She also noticed that her cousin was there. That really annoyed her, she almost got Stacy a plane ticket to get her ass out of the mess that she put herself in. She heard the conversation between X and the red headed Sandman, "Are you going to let her join?" she asked X, she was a little nervous but she didn't showed it. She kept her features cold like she normally did around the others. She ran a hand through her hair, she glanced around and decided that it was too crowed for her taste, so she turned on her heels and walked down the hall and ended up in the basement where the bar was. She fixed herself a drink and sipped on it. This was going to be a long day and glances over at this guy that was there, gave him a slight smile, "how're you?"
"I'm doing good, now that you're here." he said
"oh?" she questioned.
"Yeah, I would love for us to go in the back room." he said, with a smirk.
She could practically smell the alcohol on his breathe, and she felt pretty awkward.

Maddox kinda liked this Pheonix girl, she reminded him a lot of Kyra but he could fuck with Kyra and not worry about being killed in his sleep. He wasn't really paying attention to the conversation anymore, he figured X would handle the red headed chick, if needed. He glanced over at Kyra, "Goodmorning, Sunshine." he playfully teased, "did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed?" he smirked. He always ended up teasing this chick and it might end pretty badly, it's not like he cared. She couldn't kill him, or that's what he thought. He knew that she had some feelings for him, somewhere deep inside, if any. He cared about her, he just had a rough time trying to get her to give him a shot.

Allie wasn't good with attention, so she quietly sinked back into the background and especially when X came down stairs to handle the little issue that seemed to appear. She just thought that Phoenix wanted to join but had a rough time because she didn't know anyone. She knew the feeling, she was just fixing to make a run for it when she heard her name, she glanced over and saw that it was Remy, she gave him a grin, "Oh, hmm I think she's trying to do it. She kinda scares me, though. Her name's Phoenix, and she's a sandman, which is pretty cool." she answered him, she was trying her hardest not to get all blushy cause a cute guy was talking to her, and giving her attention. She might of had feelings for, she was trying not to get attached.
She was playing with the fabric of her sundress and swaying, she often did this out of habit, but she was also taking a sip out of her coffee. She was nibbling on her lip, glancing towards X and Phoenix then back at Remy, "Did you sleep well?" she asked him, she knew how to make small talk, she was just really shy so it took her awhile to figure out what to say. It was almost always going through this struggle. She was probably too honest about how she felt about the sandman, but she didn't like lying to people. She lightly nibbled on her bottom lip and was trying not to hid behind her coffee cup. She was just hoping that he would keep talking to her and not blow her off for a more out going girl.

Selena, well Stacy was thinking about how she ended up there, she felt like she was forced into being in the spies. She was going over papers that she glanced at earlier, something about finding out exactly who X's best man was, glancing over when she heard a voice and saw that he met the picture in the folder, before she burned it. She also noticed that not many of the there have spoken to her, she wasn't that bad. She was looking into Andy's eyes and gave him a tiny smirk, "Hello, you figure that all by yourself, good job." she teased, she was trying to be playful. And if it sounded mean, she didn't mean too. She wasn't use to being nice, but her personality did switch a lot. It was bound to happen sooner or later. "Well nice to meet you, Andy. I'm Stacy, and don't you dare start singing that song." she warned, she didn't really like that song. She could remember her cousin playing that song to her, and then would try and get Stacy to pick with her. She would usually just roll her eyes and break the machine playing it. She ran a hand through her hair, she also noticed that he was wet, "So someone's been swimming." she stated, the obvious with a smirk. It was kind hot seeing that he was wet, it took her a bit to take it all in, she was getting use to this whole, not being able to introduce herself as her real name, only her given name. She couldn't even use her code name, like she had to at the agency. It was ridiculous.

Luna had just finished sliding her dagger into the sheath on her belt, one of the rare few that she left fairly visible, when she heard the bathroom door open and Dusty come out, and then him asking her how her work had went last night. Luna snorted. "Well, it could have went better," she said. Actually, that might have been a bit of an understatement. The errand that X had sent her on, was suppose to be a rather simple one, and it would have been had it not been for an unexpected problem. She grabbed her jacket off the dresser and slid it on as she turned around to face Dusty and tell him about what had happened, but before she got a chance to, she heard a dog barking downstairs. Must have been Conor's dog, she thought. Either that or maybe a stray dog had came running in and that was what all the commotion was about. Dusty asked if she wanted to bet that they had another housemate, and Luna snorted. "Probably. I hope not though, I'm already having enough trouble trying to keep all of the names straight," she muttered. She'd already almost slipped up and called Dusty by his real name once, she'd caught herself at the last second, but it had made her annoyed at herself. She was usually much better at keeping the names straight, but she had a lot on her mind lately.
"Maybe it's another agent that the agency sent, maybe they found out something new on X," she mused. "That would be nice, I can't wait to put him behind bars and stop having to follow his orders," she muttered. Sighing, Luna blew her bangs out of her eyes and looked back to Dusty. "As for how my work went last night," she started, "X sent me to meet with this guy that was selling something on the black market. He wouldn't tell me what it was, just to give the guy the money, pick up the item, and bring it back to him. Simple enough, and might have been some nice evidence against him. But there was a little complication. The guy that was selling the item? It just happened to turn out to be Mitchel," she explained. Mitchel was a criminal that had been involved in a case Luna and Dusty had worked a few year prior. They'd been working undercover, and then when they'd finally busted the gang, Mitchel had been one of the the handful of criminals that had managed to escape and stay off the radar since.
"Needless to say, he recognized me," she muttered. But then quickly continued, "before you ask, I caught him. He's currently tied up in a safe location and I already contacted the agency to send someone to pick him up," she said. "No harm done, except for the fact that I didn't get the item. He didn't have it on him. I'll have to make up some kind of an excuse for X, and hope he doesn't send someone else looking for the seller," she added. She already had an idea of what to tell X, she'd just have to hope that X believed her. "But, at least he's finally caught," she added with a shrug. She'd have rather it hadn't been while in the middle of another mission, but could have been worse.
"Also, when X told me about the errand, he told me not to tell anyone about it, not even you, so make sure that you let on like you don't know what I was doing last night," she added. That had caught her attention, that X had specifically told her not to tell Dusty, he hadn't done that before. Not that she'd actually follow his order, of course, she told Dusty everything and she wasn't going to change that for some criminal idiot. But that didn't mean she wasn't curious why X had told her not to.
"Come on, let's go see what's going on downstairs," she said, sighing. She turned and left the room, slipping out into the hallway and then heading downstairs. When she reached the living room, she found a small group gathered there. Some fellow agents, and some of X's group of misfits. And right in the center of the room, stood X and some girl with bright hair that she'd never seen before. Luna sighed. "New housemate number 101," she muttered quietly to Dusty. Some of the group was beginning to scatter, and Luna paused, tilting her head at the girl. She looked familiar to Luna, but Luna thought it was more because she had seen her picture somewhere, rather than having actually met her before. She was also trying to figure out what her species was, and then frowned when it hit her. Sandman. Ugh, Luna hated sandmen. She'd had a little er- incident with one several centuries back. It wasn't an experience she wanted to repeat anytime soon, thank you very much.
Luna stayed quiet for a few moments, watching the scene between X and New Girl. X didn't look too happy about it, and Luna thought that it was probably a bad time to tell X that she hadn't brought him back the item he'd wanted. X was usually never in a good mood, but he looked to be in one of his worse moods, and Luna would rather tell him when he didn't look like he wanted to throttle someone. Luna had enough of a hard time dealing with X as it was, if he started giving her a lecture, or whatever, Luna might not be able to keep from losing her temper, and if that happened she might risk blowing her cover. Wouldn't be the first time, when Luna was younger, she use to take risks that often resulted in having her real identity found out, but since she'd met Dusty, and they had started working on missions together, Luna had started being more careful, not wanting to blow Dusty's cover along with her own. X finally finished talking with the new girl, and then left the room, and Luna turned back to Dusty. "Well, he didn't kick her out, I guess she's officially staying here," she said, rolling her eyes. "I swear, if one more person moves in, I may just start locking them in the basement," she muttered. Normally people didn't bother Luna, but it was getting on Luna's nerves that more people seemed to be moving in, because the more criminals there were, the harder the time Luna, Dusty and the other agents would have when the time came to nab them, finally.

Lilith watched the scene between X and the Newbie for a few moments, but then she began growing bored. It didn't involve her, and while X didn't look happy, it didn't look like it was going to lead into any kind of fight. Yet, anyway. Lilith sighed and pushed away from the wall she'd been leaning against, glancing over towards Onyx. Onyx wasn't a friendly person to, well, anyone, but Lilith got the feeling that Onyx specifically didn't like her. Lilith shrugged it off, she didn't care. She didn't like Onyx that much either. She turned and left the living room, and no sooner than she did, she heard a dog barking. Must have been Conor's dog, St. Patrick, she thought. She hadn't seen anyone else there with a dog, that she could remember, not even the newbies. Then again, maybe the New Girl speaking with X had brought a dog with her? It was possible, she supposed. She hadn't been able to place New Girl's species, it wasn't one that she'd dealt with before. But then again, Lilith really didn't put that much thought into trying to figure it out. People's species wasn't all that important to her.
Lilith left the living room, and headed towards the kitchen. She'd been up for a little bit, but she hadn't ventured downstairs until she'd wanted to see what all of the commotion was about, and now she realized that she was hungry. She'd skipped dinner last night, instead spending her free time doing other things and had completely forgotten to eat until she'd gotten home, but by then she was too tired to eat. When she reached the kitchen, she was one step short of being run over by St. Patrick on his way to the food bowl. A second sooner and she'd have gotten knocked on her butt. Lilith chuckled though, grinning at the dog. She'd always liked animals, but she hadn't had a pet of her own in years. "Morning, puppy," she said towards the dog.
Knowing that St. Patrick was usually never far from his owner, Lilith looked in the direction the dog had came from, and sure enough, spotted Conor. Even from there, Lilith could smell the liquor on his clothes. "Fun night out, huh?" she asked. Shaking her head, Lilith turned and walked over to the sink, washing her hands and then walking over to the cabinet and pulling out a bag of bagels and taking one out, placing it on a plate and then put the bag back in the cabinet. Then she went over to the fridge and dug out the cream cheese, but when she went back to the counter to put the cream cheese on the bagel, she opened the container only to find that it was empty. Lilith rolled her eyes. "If I find out who keeps eating my cream cheese," she muttered under her breath and tossed the empty container into the trash can.

Lucas was watching X and the new girl with brightly colored hair curiously, and trying to overhear what was being said between them. But he wasn't having much luck with that, he didn't have super hearing or anything, and he and Jax were standing across the room, so he could only hear bits and pieces of what was being said. He was straining his ears a bit more, and wasn't paying attention to what else was going on around him, which why he didn't see Dani until she bumped into him. That made Lucas snap out of his concentration and blink at her, his brain taking just a second to catch up and realize that she was apologizing, and calling him Sam. It took even a second longer for his brain to remember that Sam was the name he was going by on this mission.
"Oh, yeah, it's fine. Accidents happen," he said, giving her a small smile. Her real name was Faith, he knew, but it took Lucas a moment to remember that she was going by Dani here. He had to be careful and keep everyone's names straight. He was usually pretty good at that, but the one he had the hardest time with was Jax. He was currently going by Dean, but Lucas was so use to calling his cousin Jax that it was sometimes hard to catch himself in time. He'd once messed up and called Jax by his real name, and ended up blowing both their covers. Needless to day, once they'd gotten out of that mess, Jaxon had kicked his ass and hadn't let him hear the end of it for several years.
"You know, if you want to get his attention, my favorite method is just smacking him upside the head," Jax chimed in, grinning crookedly.
Lucas rolled his eyes. "Ignore him, he has no brain. I think he lost it as a child, poor guy," Lucas said dryly. That earned him a shove from his cousin, and Lucas shook his head, shoving Jax back. He glanced back towards Phoenix and X for a second, and then looked back to Dani. "Looks like you're not the only one with unique hair anymore," Lucas said, nodding his head towards the new girl. "I like yours better though, the pink doesn't hurt my eyes," he joked lightly.

Kyra looked over the rim of her coffee mug, glaring at Maddox when she heard him call her Sunshine. How many times did she have to smack the boy upside the head to get him to remember that she hated nicknames like that? Maybe a million and one would be the magic number, she thought sarcastically. She lowered the coffee mug as he started teasing her about waking up on the wrong side of the bed. "Oh, I woke up on the right side of the bed. Just too fucking early and with the headache from Hell," she muttered dryly. "Why is that people can't keep their damn voices down until at least noon?" she said, sarcasm lacing her voice heavily. That was the reason she hated people. They were noisey and selfish and didn't care to wake others up in the early hours of the morning, even if they hadn't gotten much sleep and had a construction crew in their head, pounding away on her skull. "And call me sunshine one more time, and I'll dangle you off the roof by your toes," she threatened.
Kyra looked towards the new girl, rolling her eyes. "Isn't there enough people already living here?" she muttered to herself. Kyra missed her own apartment, she lived alone and had for some time. This whole living in a big mansion with an assload of other people wasn't something she was use to, and was less than thrilled about. But, she didn't have much say in the matter, so she had to go with it. . . didn't mean she couldn't complain about it to anyone that would listen, of course. She did that quite often.
She turned her head back towards Maddox. Why he insisted on pushing her buttons, she didn't know. He was just lucky that he'd grown on her, otherwise he'd be a funny smell in the trunk of her car. "What's up with the new chick?" she asked, nodding her head in that direction. "She's not moving in too, is she? I might have to start shooting people if we run out of rooms and I get a roommate," she grumbled. She didn't think that would really happen, of course. The mansion was huge, and had plenty of open rooms. . . but if it kept up at this rate, they were bound to run out eventually and Kyra would not share her room with anyone. She needed the privacy of being able to escape there and be left alone from all the other misfits she was having to share the mansion with.

X was already glaring at the new girl, but when she said that she didn't walk in, but had appeared in, X's eyes became near slits. He already wasn't happy with her, and 'correcting' him about how she had arrived in the mansion was not the best way to get on his good side. Well, X didn't really have a good side, but that was beside the point. "I don't care if you flew in, you're still trespassing," he said dryly, through clenched teeth. X had never been a patience person, but what little patience he did have was wearing very thin. She went on to say that she thought he might need someone like her, and then bragged about her power of being able to put any create to sleep and kill them. X rolled his eyes. He didn't like when people bragged.
After she'd finished talking, X remained completely quiet. Glaring at her for a long moment, and silently trying to decide what to do about her. He didn't like that she had basically just waltzed right into his home and headquarters without permission, and just seemed to expect him to accept it. But, X was also curious. She was up to something, she had to be. Most people knew that X didn't take kindly to strangers, so for her to just come wandering in here, she must have had a good reason. The first conclusion that X came to, was that she was a spy. But then he realized that spies were usually smarter and more subtle. She could have just been not very smart, or maybe she was cocky. There were plenty of options. And X wanted to know why she was there. He could lock her up somewhere until he had time to deal with her, he mused. There was a special room he had had a protection spell placed on that kept people from being able to teleport in or out. But then again, that probably wasn't the best way to get answers out of her.
About that time, he heard Violet ask him if he was going to let Phoenix join, and X finally tore his glace away from Phoenix to look at Violet. "Depends on if I think she deserves it. Right now, I see nothing special about her," he said. X wasn't stupid, he knew that having a sandman on the gang would come in handy. But he wasn't about to let Phoenix think he was even the least bit interested in that.
Finally, X came to the conclusion that the best way to find out what she wanted, was to let her stay there. He wasn't happy with that decision, to say the least. But he also was pretty sure that the girl wasn't stupid enough to try anything. There were a lot of powerful beings living there, and while some of them might be susceptible to her sleeping power, X knew for a fact that there were several beings there that were immune to it, himself included. But that was a secret he didn't plan on telling her anytime soon. So, going with the motto of 'keep your friends close and your enemies closer', X ran his tongue over his teeth and finally spoke. "I don't let just anyone join my gang, especially not someone that I know nothing about. If you want to join the gang, you'll have to prove yourself. And pass a few. . . tests," he warned. Tilting his head, X gave her a cold smile, actually it was more of a smirk. "If you think you can survive them, fine. Stick around and see what happens. There's plenty of empty rooms upstairs, pick one that's vacant. But be warned, Red, if you pull anything, if I have any reason to suspect you're up to something, I won't hesitate to throw you out. And everyone here, will be keeping a very close eye on you," he threatened.
With that, X decided that he was done with her. He had too much to do today to deal with the Red Headed Crasher. Maybe he'd find Andrew later and have him try to find out more about the girl, where she came from, if there were any rumors about her, things like that. X turned and scanned the room, rolling his eyes at the people gathered there. Glad to see they were keeping themselves entertained, he thought sarcastically. X turned and left the living room, heading down to the bar in the basement. The morning was off to an annoying start, and he could use a drink. Plus, he suspected that was where Violet had disappeared off to, and he wanted to talk to her about Redhead. X always made his own decisions, he always had, but during the past couple of years since he'd became involved with Letty, X did like to get her opinion on things.
When he reached the bar, it didn't take him long to spot Violet. And a guy. A guy that was clearly hitting on her. X gritted his teeth, and had to remind himself that he couldn't outright kill the guy, because that would make everyone else suspicious, and if they got suspicious they might start to figure out that there was something going on between him and Violet. And X didn't want that to happen. But. . . X also didn't have an easy time keeping his temper under control. Still gritting his teeth, X walked over to the bar and grabbed a glass and bottle to make himself a drink. He was going to probably need several to get through the day without killing anyone. "Don't you have something you should be doing?" he snapped at the guy. "Something that involves your job here, and not hitting on girls? That's not what I'm paying you to do, now is it?" X asked dryly, glaring at him.
