Name: Penelope JohnstonNickname: JinxAge: 16Species: WitchPower: Being a witch means that Jinx has several powers, but most of them are currently unknown to her since she doesn't know how to control them at will yet. She can whip up potions to help with pretty much anything, though she has a bad habit of blowing up her kitchen when she's trying to put said potions together. She can also write spells, but they usually come out sounding corny and don't always have the desired outcome she was hoping for.Personality: Jinx is probably one of the nicest girls you'll ever meet in your life. She's sweet, bubbly and friendly, she'll be anyone's friend that is willing to be friends with her, and she's extremely loyal . . . as long as that loyalty goes both ways. If you betray her, she'll never forgive you for it. She's the type that if you need someone, she's always the first one there and willingly to do whatever you need her to do. She tends to ramble at times, sometimes about nothing important, she's very optimist and is always trying to find a good point in everything, even the darkest of situations. Some people call her an airhead, but truthfully Jinx is a very smart girl.Appearance: History: Jinx was born Penelope Johnston, but earned the nickname Jinx in middle school after she was in the school play and tripped and fell, taking down the stage and other actors with her. One of the other actors fell off the stage and got a broken ankle, and another got a concussion from a fallen light hitting him on the head, all because Jinx tripped on the hem of her dress. Jinx's mother is a witch, and her father is a warlock, both are powerful and good at controlling their powers. Yet for some reason, Jinx didn't luck out that great, she didn't come into her powers until she was fifteen, and has been struggling to control them ever since.Extra: Jinx always carries a small bag full of potions with her, all of which usually come in handy.

Name: RainerAge: Appears to be 30, real age unknownSpecies: DemonPower: To Be Revealed...Personality: Cold, ruthless, pure evil. Those are the best words to describe Rainer. He loves torturing people, causing death and destruction and is only loyal to himself, putting himself firth and foremost and to hell with everyone else. Rainer doesn't like working with other people, yet he knows that he needs minions to do his dirty work for him. He hires people on a need-to basis and kills them if they displease him by not doing what they were hired to do.Appearance: History: Rainer has been around since the ancient times, and during his very long life has managed to kill more people then a thousand vampires put together. Nobody is quite sure how long Rainer has been around . . . but it's obviously been a long time for him to have gained the feared reputation that he has. Rainer has a lot of enemies, yet most are too afraid to go directly against him, and instead plot their revenge from the safety of the darkness. He has a few minions that have been with him for a few centuries that have somehow managed to earn their keep, but Rainer wouldn't think twice about killing them if they were to do something he didn't like.Extra:

Name: Rattlesnake Age: 28, and his real age is, well let's just say he's old. Species: Vampire Power: Basically everything a regular vampire can do, Rattlesnake can do it better or at least better than most, he's old and has had centuries to become a perfect killing machine, much like his name sake the rattlesnake. Personality: Rattlesnake is evil, he kills for money and for sport and enjoys every minute of it. He knows how to control himself, he doesn't give in to his petty emotions, and can be as stoic or as insane as he wants to be. He knows people, and he knows exactly what he needs to do to get under someones skin and the best ways to psychologically torture someone. He is very arrogant, and he always knows he's going to come out on top, no matter the situation. He has a sarcastic way of taunting his victims and opponents. He'll drag a fight out as long as he can, he likes to make others suffer, he loves the sounds of pain. Appearance: History: Even as a kid he people knew h rust wasn't right. He was always mean, and as an adult he tortured people as a profession during the Spanish Inquisition. His talent for causing pain was noticed during his time in England, his home country, by a vampire. He was England and his urge to kill had caught up with him again, and just before he was caught his sire turned him. The vampire was recruiting an army to help bring about an apocalypse at the time, a plan later stopped by a slayer, but Rattlesnake wasn't interested. He wanted to have fun, he wanted to cause massacres. Several years later a woman caught his eye, Drusilla and after playing a few games with the mortal he turned her. He still enjoys tormenting his child when they cross paths, and he absolutely hates Dru's knew boy. He can't stand when another vampire's reputation over shadows his own and Spike has a rep for slayer killing that Rattlesnake has yet to match. Extra: On his left arm he has a tattoo of a rattlesnake whose body wraps around his arm and it's head rests on his inner wrist above his palm.

Xandra covered a yawn as she climbed off the bus, besides for the driver, she was the only one that had stayed on for the ride all the way to Moon Light, Montana. The name alone made Xandra hate it. As soon as her feet were on the ground, the squeaky bus doors closed behind her and the driver didn't waste any time in pulling the bus back onto the road. Xandra rolled her eyes at the driver, as they had been getting closer to Moon Light, he had asked Xandra if she was sure she wanted to go there, because of some rumors he'd been hearing about the place. Mysterious disappearances and sightings, it hadn't taken a rocket scientist to figure out that the dude was spooked about the town. Xandra couldn't blame him, though, not after what Grimm had told her had been going on there. Ever since the discovery of the La Decidee Une everyone appeared to be freaking out over it, rushing to get there. Supernaturals had caused a bit of chaos in Moon Light.
And since all shit was hitting the fan, naturally Xandra had gotten called into the middle of it. This time by her old friend, Grimm Night, a Watcher who had been assigned the La Decidee Une and had asked Xandra to help train her. Of course, Xandra loved helping to babysit newbie Slayers. Not.
Xandra shifted her black and lime green duffel bag on her shoulder as she tilted her head back to look at the sky. It was after dark, the sun had set a little over an hour ago, and Xandra vaguely wondered if there was any creatures already starting to wreck havoc in the small town. She looked up and down the street, she could have asked Grimm to pick her up, but she perferred to get settled on her own, especially since Grimm would offer to let her stay with him, and Xandra didn't want to get trapped in that again. The last time she'd stayed with Grimm, she hadn't left for a couple of years, and Xandra didn't intend on staying in Moon Light any longer then it took to get the new girl on her feet, then Xandra would catch the first bus outta there.
She spotted a motel not far down the look and the closer she got, she could make out a flickering 'vacant' sign in the office window. She decided she'd rent a room, drop off her bag, then head to Grimm's. At least, that was her plan, anyway. It had taken her three days to get to Moon Light from the little town in Colorado, where she'd been when she got the phone call from Grimm. That was also where she'd left Valentine. Right after the phone call, she'd broken things off, packed her bag and headed out at the first sign of daybreak. Of course knowing Valentine, he never did like to be left out of the fun, so Xandra had a sneaking suspicion he'd show in Moon Light soon enough.
After waking the sleepy night manger to rent one of the vacant rooms, Xandra popped in and dropped her bag off, locking the door and started walking. Grimm had gave Xandra directions to his store, and the town being as small as it was, Xandra was fairly certain she'd have an easy enough time finding it, though she didn't get in any hurry. Grimm had been evasive when she had tried to ask about the new girl, Cinnamon . . . what can of name was Cinnamon for a slayer anyway? . . . about Cinnamon's reaction to having her help train her, and Xandra had an underlining feeling that he hadn't told her yet. Great, she'd get to see first hand the girl's reaction. Fan-freaking-tasic. Xandra just hoped that Cinnamon wasn't as girly as her name made her sound, because she was fairly certain she didn't have the patience for that.

Grimm rubbed his eyes and looked at his watch, again, then began sorting through the papers on his desk that was located in his office in the back of his store. The sun had set an hour ago, which meant that Cici was late. He had asked Cinnamon to meet him at his store at sun down so that she could patrol the graveyard for newly created vampires. Of course, that didn't seem to mean anything to Cinnamon. Grimm also expected Xandra to arrive shortly, she'd promised she'd be there tonight, and Xandra always kept her promises. Grimm frowned slightly though, he had yet to tell Cici that he had asked Xandra to help train her, and he was hoping that Cici took the news alright, since the girl didn't appear to be wanting to train like she should be.
Of course Grimm could understand that, during his years of being a watcher, nearly every Slayer he had trained had been reluctant to accept their duty, always complaining that they wanted to be normal teenage girls. Sadly though, Grimm couldn't change their fate, no matter how much he would have liked to. Grimm shook his head, trying to clear away the thoughts of his previous charges and what had happened to them. He'd made sure the same fate didn't come to Cici.
Speaking of Cici . . .
Grimm looked at his watch, sighing again. If the girl didn't get there soon, he would have to go find her himself.

Rainer tapped his nails against the armrest of his chair as he glared at Erebus. Erebus was Rainer's 'top minion' or whatever you'd like to call him, and he had kept Erebus around for the past three hundred years because the demon knew what he was doing and always seemed to be able to pull off whatever task Rainer gave him. "Where are they? I thought you said that they would be here tonight, and it's already been an hour past sundown?" Rainer hissed.
Erebus cleared his thought, but otherwise didn't seem fazed by the death glare Rainer was giving him. "They'll be here tonight, Rainer. Be patient. Rumor has it that Spike and Drusilla arrived in Montana last night, and weren't that far away when they had to stop due to the sunrise. And I believe that Rattlesnake will probably be here soon as well, I doubt he'll waste any time in wanting to get started killing," Erebus said. "And the others will be here either late tonight, or first thing tomorrow."
Rainer sighed. "They'd better get here soon, I'm anxious to get my hands on the La Decidee Une," Rainer grumbled.
"Would you like anything?" Erebus asked.
Rainer shook his head. "No, just let me know the second that any of them get here so that I can send them on their way," Rainer ordered. Erebus nodded his head and quickly left the room.

Drusilla's eyes fluttered open and she blinked them a few times to clear her vision. "Well, I don't think Rainer is too pissed about us being late. But he certainly isn't happy about it," she said, thinking back to the vision she'd forced of what Rainer was doing. Drusilla looked out at the window as their car passed the "Welcome To Moon Light" sign, and then shifted in her seat to look over at Spike behind the wheel.
"Of course, we would have been on time, had you not insisted on stopping to chomp on that lovely young couple a town or so back," she said, but then smiled. "Of course, I suppose it was well worth it. It had been awhile since we had a nice dinner out," she chuckled.
"We should probably go see Rainer first, before we find a place to stay while we're doing . . . what was it Rainer wanted us for again?" Drusilla trailed off. "Oh right, the little girl he wanted brought to him. That shouldn't take very long. She's just a child after all, and new to her powers. I don't know why Rainer doesn't just get her himself. But then again, he always has been a lazy demon," Drusilla rambled, looking out the window.

Jinx coughed and ran over to the window over the sink and opened it, letting the smoke seep out of the kitchen from where her potion had exploded, again. The smoke in the kitchen was so thick Jinx could hardly see through it, and the sound of the smoke alarm blaring was deafening.
"Oh Jinx, did you blow up another one?" Her mother asked, coughing as she walked into the kitchen.
"Sorry, Mom. I must have added too much nutmeg," Jinx said, waving a towel towards the window to try to clear the smoke out faster.
"Well, just be careful when you try to put the invisible potion together. Remember what happened the last time," her mother warned.
Jinx frowned slightly at the memory. Not only had she filled the house with smoke, but she'd accidentally turned her hair orange. Not something Jinx was all that anxious to repeat. "Of course, Mom," she said as the smoke finally began to clear.
Once the house was finally smoke free, Jinx gathered up what potions had turned out alright and shoved them into her bag. Then she hurried out the door and down the street. She ran up onto Cici's porch and knocked on the door as she caught her breath. "Come on, Cici! We gotta go!" Jinx called through the door.

Ryder watched as his pet, Doc, slowly walked across the table in the cheap motel room. He'd been in town for a day and a half now, nothing major and happened and he was more than a little bored. He'd killed a vampire, the other night but it was just some newborn, not much of a fight really. He smiled as he watched his spider, the creature itself was stunning, and fascinating to watch. He looked out the window, it had been dark for a while he figured he should go out and take a look around the town, if things stayed this boring he was gonna split and head back to LA, something was always going down there. He guided The Doctor into his palm and placed it into a terrarium before heading out. He wandered the streets for a while, making sure to hit the town's unusually high number of cemeteries.
Valentine leaned back in the car and felt almost smiled when he saw the Welcome to Moon Light sign. He'd paid a cab to drive him the whole way here, and a little extra not to ask questions when he opted to lay in the trunk during the day. Taking a bus or plane didn't really work for him, as traveling only at night wouldn't get him there on time. So Valentine had to pay a ridiculous amount of cash and act like he had some kind of sun related allergy to make sure he didn't end up late to the big party. Well not again anyway, he smiled remembering the second time he's run into Lexi. He'd shown up just a bit late to stop some demon from destroying something, the exact details were fuzzy to him, and she'd already had the problem taken care of and he was never going to live that one down.
The driver of the car came to a sudden stop. “Sir, um I'd rather not go any further. Weird shit happened here man, as in bad.” The guy said nervously.
“Don't worry about it, here's fine.” Valentine said as he handed the guy what was rest of his money and left the car. He walked the rest of the way into town. He wasn't familiar with the town but he figured he shouldn't have to wander to far to find some sort of trouble. He'd heard a rumor that Rattlesnake was in town, as well as some others. He figured he'd stumble upon a trail of bodies sooner or later.

Spike rolled his eyes and laughed a bit. “Well when is Rainer in a good mood?” He asked that damn demon was such a buzz kill. “Remind me again why we ever agreed to take orders from some demon.” He asked as he sped through a red light, wondering just how fast the old black Cadillac could go. He'd stole the car several towns pack after engine in the last car pretty much blew up. He glanced at the Welcome to Moon Light sign and rolled his eyes, he wondered if he should be pleased that they were almost there or continue to be agitated about taking orders from a demon and hanging around some small dump of a town. He glanced over at Dru who had mentioned there lateness. “It was nice wasn't it.” He said remembering the taste of the blood, it was so much better than fast food. The kids they had working at the those drive thru's tasted way too much like hamburger grease for Spike's liking. “Why the big bad demon needs our help to grab himself a little girl is beyond me.” He said in response to Dru's musings. He glanced over at her again. “So my Dark Goddess after our little meet and great with Rainer maybe we should grab someone to eat.” He said softly with a slight grin. “I'm still hungry.” He added glancing back at the road, taking a right turn a bit faster than he should.
Rattlesnake rounded a corner in an alley, leaping over some knocked over trash cans as he chased his latest victim, following her by the scent of her fear. God how loved that smell, his skin tingled with excitement at the thought of a new kill, his mouth salivated when he thought of that first bite and the hot, adrenalin rich blood that was coursing through the girls veins. He stopped quickly as the alley way deadened her, she was near, hiding only feet away.
“Come out now sweetheart and maybe I'll make your death quick.” He said pausing for a second to take a deep breath, inhaling the smells of the alley. His eyes quickly fell on a large dumpster. “Guess we're doing this the hard way.” He said grinning in a way that his fangs gleamed in the moonlight. He threw the lid open, nearly pulling it off the hinges and glancing down at the frightened human. “Hiding with the trash, now I barely want to eat you.” He said with mock disgust and paused as if to think it over. “Ah well I'm over it now.” He said shrugging as he ripped her out of the trash can, nearly pulling her arm off and throwing her against a wall. Seconds later his fangs were buried in her neck and he greedily gulped the blood down. When he was finished he dropped the lifeless body and stretched a bit. He allowed his face to return to it's human like state and checked the time on his watch, only a little late for his meeting with Rainer, probably just late enough to let the demon know that Rattlesnake wasn't going to be some minion, he'd be doing a favor for the demon, not taking orders.
It wasn't too long before he got to Rainer's, and gave the classic, shave and a haircut, knock against the door and waited, as patiently as he could. His skin was still warm from the fresh blood, and he licked his lips, still tasting it, and grinned. “Hello anybody home?” He called, gleefully at the door.

Xandra came to a stop beside a street sign and pulled out the paper that she'd scribed down Grimm's directions on . . . well she was getting closer, according to the directions, she only had about three more blocks to go. She shoved the paper back into her back jean pocket and turned to start walking again, but froze when something in an alley caught her eye. Lying on the ground in a heap, Xandra paused for a second, then sighed. She'd seen that scene too many times for her taste. She walked over, and crouched down beside the woman, turning her head and finding the bite marks on her neck. She already knew the woman was dead by the way her eyes were staring without really seeing anything, but placed her fingers on her neck to check for a pulse just in case.
Xandra sighed again and stood up. She didn't want to be caught standing over a dead body, she already enough of a long record to add being a suspect to a murder to it. Again. As she walked out of the alley, she turned right and walked up the road, all the way scanning the streets to see if she saw any vampires lurking around. Which was when Xandra noticed just how empty the town was, it was nearly a ghost town. Well, that really would work in Xandra's favor, the fewer people out usually meant the less victims. Then again, that hadn't saved that woman back there.
Xandra considered calling in an anonymous tip to the police but decided against it, someone would find her in the morning. Someone who wasn't Xandra. Instead of going to Grimm's, Xandra continued to scout out the area for a few moments, but didn't find any lurking vampires, finally she gave up and decided to continue trying to find Grimm's. On the next street over, she spotted the first (live) person she'd seen since arriving in town. Well, not exactly 'live' maybe, Xandra tilted her head, it was a vampire. One of the perks of being a Slayer was that it came with that sixth sense of when someone was a vamp. He had his back to Xandra so she slipped over into the shadows and began to follow them, assuming that this was probably the vampire that had killed the woman. As Xandra got closer, she squinted her eyes a little to try to focus on the vamp a little more, he looked familiar. . .
Xandra rolled her eyes when she got a much clearer look. Valentine. Apparently she'd underestimated him, she'd thought she'd have at least a one night head start. Actually she'd been hoping for a repeat of the demon incident when Val had showed up a couple of moments after Xandra had already killed the demon, she loved reminding Val that he'd been too late and missed out on all the fun. She paused for a moment, considering her options. She could turn around and take off before he noticed she was there, find Grimm and try to avoid Val until she could skip town again. But . . . that probably wouldn't work, and truth be told, she didn't really want to. Not that she would ever admit that of course. So, she might as well surprise him. Which was why Xandra quickly tackled Valentine onto the ground from behind, sitting on his back and pinning his arms beneath her.
Xandra sighed melodramatically. "Small world, huh?" She said sarcastically. "Imagine that . . . whatever brings you to a lovely little town like this one?" She asked in a mock curious tone. Xandra pushed herself up off of Valentine and reached down, yanking him to his feet, then she crossed her arms over her chest and glared at him. 'How'd you get here so fast, Valentine?" She asked.

Drusilla sighed when Spike asked her to remind him why they had agreed to work for Rainer to begin with. "For the sun gems of course, silly" she answered. Rainer had called them something else, but what exactly Dru couldn't really remember at the moment, she preferred to call them sun gems. They were stones that had been created by a sorcerer centuries ago that, when worn on a chain around their neck, allowed the vampire to walk in the daylight without burning up. Rainer had promised to give them one each if they helped him to catch the child, naturally that was a deal that they both had liked. Dru personally hated having to hide from the sun, it really showed things down and getting caught in the sun wasn't fun at all, she'd had way too many bad sunburns in her vampire life to want to make a habit of it.
Dru laughed and shook her head at Spike. "You're always hungry," she teased. "But alright, we can grab someone after we leave Rainer's," she agreed, then paused. "Just not another kid from a fast food joint, I'm tired of those," she insisted. Dru managed to catch the name on a street sign as it flew past her window, Dru had gotten good at that thanks to Spike's slightly too fast driving habit.
"It should be right up here," she said. Sure enough an old Victorian style house came into at the end of the road. "Huh, for some reason I expected another warehouse," she said, shrugging. It always seemed that all demons tended to choose warehouses for their hideout

Erebus opened the door just a few moments after hearing someone knock on it, and found Rattlesnake. "Well come on in, Rainer's waiting," he said, motioning Rattlesnake inside and closing the door behind him. "I'll tell him you're here," he said, hurrying out of the room.
"Rattlesnake's here," Erebus said, walking into Rainer's room.
"About damn time," he grumbled, standing up and walking downstairs into the living room. "It's about time you got here," Rainer said, glaring at Rattlesnake as he came to a stop in front of him. Rainer noticed that Rattlesnake had that look in his eye that vampires got after feeding, obviously he hadn't wasted any time in starting his killing here.
"It's pretty obvious you don't like taking orders, but remember this, if you don't do what I want, when I want, then you won't get the stone I promised so that you can walk around in the daylight," he warned. "The being said, here's a picture of the girl I want brought to me. Her name's Cinnamon." Rainer handed a picture of Cinnamon that Erebus had took for him to Rattlesnake as he spoke.
"I want her as soon as possible. And play nice with the others I have coming in, don't kill any of them unless I say so, understand? Good help is hard to find these days," he warned.
