Well it was obvious at the fact that Cinnamon was late, she overslept, well actually she kinda planned on oversleeping casue why in the fuck would she wanna be a slayer anyway? Vampires was hot in some of the movies she had seen. She showered and put on a pair of jeans and a black tank top. And fixed her hair that her natural soft curls was situated when she heard Jinx, she shook her head and walked out the door, "Do we really have to? You and I both know, I don't wanna actually go. Can we go to the park or something?" she tried to get out of learning to be a slayer and shit.
Logan woke up and threw on something to wear, and steped outside. He tilted his head and decided that he should joke around with Jinx. And the reason totally didn't have to do with his crush? wait, that's an understatement, he's feelings for her. He walked up to see Jinx along with Cici, "Hey, you too. Cici, don't you have practise and what not?"
Cici sighed, "yes.." she dragged, catching Logans drift, "I was reluctingly heading that way. Well dear, I'm late enough so I gotta run." she said, while taking off in a jog towards the direction she was suppose to be going. Grims store? how common, she was finding all of this. She didn't fully understand why she was so important, anyone can be a slayer, right? That's when she turned the corner and ran into a guy [Ryder] and landed right on her ass, "Fuck." she muttered, after she winced a little. Today is totally my day.. she thought, with sarcasm, obviously. She got up, "I'm sorry, I should look where i'm going." she said, pausing to look at him. Then she didn't really know if she should trust him but she wasn't getting a creepy vibe so she said, "I gotta go.." she said, trying not to sound nervous and started back walking towards Grimm's. She glanced at the sky, yeah...she was late. Did she care? No, not really.
Logan shifted his weight, "So what do you have plan to do today, Jinx?" he asked, while glancing at her.

Valentine froze as he caught the scent of blood, he took a deep breath and analyzed the scents in the air. Blood and death, something had definitely killed nearby, and it was a fresh kill. Val sighed, he was too late again and another demon, probably vampire, had killed. He wondered if it was Rattlesnake, he's been tracking that jackass for almost a lifetime now, and they'd had quiet a few intense fights over the years but so far neither one had managed to stake the other. He continued walking, concentrating on finding the source of the blood, which was probably why he didn't notice he was being watched. Then he hit the ground and felt someone or thing on top of him. He was ready for a fight until he heard his attackers voice. He signed and rolled his eyes, it was Lexi, of course, just about the only person who could sneak up on him. She helped him back on his feet and grinned slightly at her questions, he'd surprised her showing up so quickly. She didn't know all of his tricks, though he was exactly filled with pride about hiding from the sun in the trunk of a car.
“You really thought I was going to miss out on all the fun here. I'd thought you knew me better than that.” He teased. “Lexi whatever happens between us I'm still gonna be around when the big fights go down.” He added becoming serious quickly. “So I'm not a hundred percent on what makes this town so special, but I definitely feel something dark here.” He said getting right to business. “Word is that Rattlesnake's either here or on his way and a lot of other big players on there way here too. So do you know anything more?” He asked figuring he keep the subject on business, if Lexi wanted to change the subject he figured she would.

Ryder wasn't paying a whole lot of attention to what was going on and then something hit him and he staggered back. He glanced at what, well who, had hit him and noticed an attractive woman had run into him and fallen backwards. He suppressed the urge to grin as decided that he'd done enough work for the night and figured he could allow some time for distraction. She was already back on her feet and apologizing for running into him by the time his mind caught up to what was going on. Then she mentioned leaving and started walking away and he was still standing around looking like an idiot. Okay so he hadn't even spoke and she was already leaving and seeing how she was the most exciting person he'd run into in the whole freaking town he wasn't gonna give up so easily.
“Hey wait up.” He said spiriting a bit to catch up, before slowing down and walking beside her. “So I'm sort of new in town, just wondering if you might know where a guy can have some fun around here?” He asked giving a friendly smile and kept his eyes looked on her. Yeah she was totally his type. “Name's James, Ryder James.” He said introducing himself in his best James Bond impression.

Spike growled slightly and rolled his eyes. “Damn stones better be worth it, better be real to or I swear I'll rip that sodding demon to little bits and feed him to rats.” Spike said still unable to warm up to the idea of working for a demon and with other people. He had a feeling this was not going to be a fun trip, but didn't want Dru to worry so he tried to be more positive. “You know if this plan works out we could feast on the beach, watch the sun go down as bleeding people scream around us. Maybe even surf.” He said grinning as he watched Dru. “Oh look we're here.” Spike said stopping suddenly in front of the house. He got out of the car and headed over to Dru's side of the car and opened the door. “After you luv.” He said offering a hand to her.

Rattlesnake tried not to laugh uncontrollably when Rainer showed him the picture of the girl he was supposed to get for him, but he did chuckle a little. What kind of demon can't even catch some girl on it's own, but he wanted to his reward so he bit his tongue. “Cinnamon huh? Sounds tasty.” He said running his tongue over his fangs and grinning a bit. “But I'm guessing you want this one brought in alive or...” He stopped suddenly as he felt the presence of another vampire. He grinned a bit as he knew exactly what Rainer meant by not killing the rest of the help, the damn demon had brought in his girl, Dru. He glanced at the demon and grinned showing his teeth. “You didn't mentioned you'd called in my girl.” He said slowly, it had been a while since he and the vampire he'd sired had cross paths. “Please tell me she didn't bring her obnoxious pet with her.” He asked referring to Spike and not the cat, Rattlesnake had never been outdone by cat so he didn't hate that animal as much as Spike.

Cinnamon did notice she barely gave the guy enough time to respond to her before she was walking away. She didn't make it very far when she heard a voice telling her to wait up, she almost tensed but decided to slow down a little and when he was beside her, she went back to her normal place. She heard his question, "Oh, theres not much to do in this small town." she answered back, trying a little harder than normal to attempt to go to practise without Grimm coming to find her. But when was she going to get a gorgeous guy that looks almost way to old for her to talk to her like this, she stopped walking when she heard him say his name, "Cinnamon, but call me Cici, it sounds less weird." she smiled, back. "Well I was suppose to meet Grimm but I don't really want too." she admited, glanced up at him trying not to look like she wasn't totally jailbait for him in normal human world. "Let's see a place for a guy like you to go.. theres a cemetary..well alot of them.. they're pretty cool." she drifted and thought, Like I wanna go to a cemetary and risk seeing a Vampire, that i haven't learned to kill yet.. sure. as you could have guessed, that was sarcasm. She ran a hand through her hair, she wasn't really sure what was around town since she was either at Grimms, avoiding Grimms or the cemetaries... She shook her head, "I'm not to sure what's around here, I don't go everywhere." she let out a laugh.

Xandra rolled her eyes at Val and snorted. "Please, I found out years ago and you never like missing out on the fun. I just expected you to be late. Again," she said. Xandra noticed that Val didn't explain how he'd gotten there so fast, she thought about trying to drag it out of him, but decided against it, there were too many other, more important things going on to worry about that right now. Xandra made sure that she kept her face impassive as Val went straight to business, as usual, trying to decide just how much to tell him. Honestly, Xandra hadn't planned on telling him anything, but Xandra knew him way too well for that. Val would be staying there until everything was resolved, and if she didn't tell him, he'd just end up finding out on his own. Either that or bugging the shit out of her until she told him so he'd finally leave her alone.
"Rattlesnake?" She repeated, then sighed. "He's probably who killed the chick I found in an alley not far from here. She's not even cold yet, so it's a fresh kill. I already scouted out the area though, he's long gone," she said frowning. Rattlesnake was always a problem, she'd had her run-ins with him during her time of being a Slayer, but she hadn't tracked him like Val had been. "I heard that Spike and Drusilla are on their way here as well. And Rainer's in town," she said, deciding she might as well tell him so he'd know what to expect. "Rainer's probably planning on trying to get ahold of the girl. And with Rattlesnake, Spike and Dru coming to town. . . " Xandra trailed off for a moment and sighed again. "I need to warn Grimm, we're going to have to keep a close watch on Cinnamon," she said, more to herself then Val.
She blinked out of her thoughts and looked back to him for a moment, deciding on how much to tell him. Finally she decided to just tell him what she knew. "Grimm told me the reason that the town is so special; it's because it's directly over the Gate To Hell," she stated simply. She waited a moment to let him process that before she continued. "He hasn't been able to pinpoint the exact opening, but it's here somewhere. He said that the Council is working on it. And Cinnamon, the new Slayer that he asked me to help train, is the La Decidee Une," she explained. She didn't bother to explain what that meant, because nearly supernatural being or human that was involved with them had heard the myths about what the La Decidee Une could do. Xandra blew her bangs out of her eyes as she looked up at Val. "So I have the feeling that things are just about to get interesting," she said sarcastically. "Cinnamon doesn't know that she's the La Decidee Une yet, Grimm hasn't told her. She also doesn't know about the Gate To Hell that she's able to open. So if you see her, keep your mouth shut or I'll kick your ass all over town, got it?" she threatened, narrowing her eyes at him.

Jinx watched Cici walked off and looked back to Logan, sighing. "Not really. Well, my plan was to make sure that Cinnamon went to Grimm's like he asked her to. And I was going to go along and help her," she said, frowning slightly in the direction that her friend had disappeared in. She was a little ticked over the way that Cici had blown her off. Jinx pulled herself out of her thoughts and looked back to him again. "So since she decided to blow me off, then I guess I don't have anything planned for tonight," she continued.
Jinx ran her hand through her hair and shrugged. "I guess I'll just. . . " she trailed off, not sure what she was going to do. "I guess I could go for a walk through the neighborhood, make sure that there's nothing going on," she finally said. Jinx had already found out that Logan was a werewolf, and he knew that she was a witch, so she didn't bother to try to hide anything from him. She actually liked that, it made things difficult trying to hide the fact that she knew there were vampires and other things wandering the streets. "You want to come with?" she asked, already walking down the stairs.

Rainer narrowed his eyes at Rattlesnake. "Yes, I want the girl bought in alive. Anything other then that, and I will personally kill you. Slowly and painfully," Rainer warned in an icy voice. Rainer had considered that when he'd decided to call the vampires in to retrieve the girl for him, that they may try to kill her, but Rainer was fairly certain none of them were quite that stupid. Or they'd better not be, anyway. Rainer also knew that they were probably wondering why he didn't just get the girl himself, Rainer nearly laughed at the thought, they would soon find out for themselves why it wouldn't be so easy to pick up Cinnamon.
Rainer sighed when Rattlesnake mentioned Dru arriving, the last thing Rainer wanted to deal with at the moment was a scene between those two. After he had his hands on Cinnamon, he couldn't care less if they killed each other or not. But, he had his reasons for bringing in both Spike and Rattlesnake. Anyone who had ever heard of the two knew how much they hated each other, and Rattlesnake was always competitive with Spike. . . that should be enough to keep the two of them moving quickly, trying to keep from letting the other one beat them to the punch. At least that was Rainer's hope, anyway. "I called in both Drusilla and Spike, so he should be with her. He better be, anyway, took them long enough to get here," he grumbled.
As Erebus went to open the door for them, Rainer shot Rattlesnake a death look. "After I have the girl, I don't care if you kill them both or not. But until then, you're not to kill them. I need as many people as possible working for me right now," he warned.

Drusilla chuckled at Spike. "That does sound like fun. Maybe we could hit one of the beaches in California, it's been ages since I've been..." she trailed off, shrugging as she ran over ideas of possible beaches they could visit. Dru sighed when Spike stopped the car a little too quickly and made Shadow slide off the backseat and land in the floor. She shifted in her seat and reached back, picking the cat up and putting him in the middle of the front seat before she took the hand that Spike offered and climbed out of the car. Shadow jumped out after her, landing by her feet. Shadow was never left behind, after all.
Dru walked up onto the porch and knocked on the door. As she lowered her hand, she tilted her head to side, frowning slightly. After Dru had a vision of something, it always messed with her other senses for a few moments, just throwing them slightly off, almost like static on a radio channel. So she wasn't sure what she was picking up right away. She could tell Rainer was inside, demons always gave off a dark vibe, but there was something else. . .
As Dru was trying to figure it out, Shadow started hissing. She looked down at the cat that was standing beside her; his back was arched and his fangs were out as he hissed at the door. Shadow usually didn't act like that. "Shadow, what is wrong with you?" Dru asked, then it hit her. The odd vibe she was getting and Shadow's weird behavior could really only mean one thing; the one person in the world that Dru didn't want to see was here. Great.
"Shit, Rattlesnake's here," Dru said, looking from Shadow to Spike. It had been probably about five years since they'd crossed paths, maybe a bit longer, Dru wasn't really sure. But nearly every time that they ran into each other, it never ended well. As if on clue, Erebus answered the door, opening it to reveal both Rainer and Rattlesnake in the living room.

Ryder laughed when she mentioned hanging out a cemeteries. “So you think I'm the type of guy that likes to hang around graveyards?” He asked still grinning as he stopped walking when she did. “I guess that means you like I'm like zombie or something right.” He asked grinning at his joke. She was quite obvious that she was on here way to someplace important and he was tempted to just leave there encounter at a friendly introduction, but it didn't seem like she wanted to be going where ever it was that she was headed. He then wondered who Grimm was, certainly didn't sound like a girls name. “So Grimm, that would be your boyfriend?” He asked suddenly. Figures, she would be taken, he never did have the best of luck. Then of course he realized that his question might be a bit inappropriate, I mean asking about a boyfriend after meeting her for only a couple minutes. “Sorry obviously you don't have to answer that, none of my business. Anyway what I meant to say is life short you know, I try not to do things I don't want, gives me more time to concentrate on what I do want out of life.” He hadn't thought there would be a whole lot to do in a town like this, but he'd hoped there would be someplace interesting that wasn't all about killing evil creatures.

Valentine rolled his eyes, of course she'd bring that up but whatever he must not have too many other mistakes for her to mention. Val streched his neck a bit till it cracked. “Damn next time I need to pick a car with a bigger trunk.” He muttered as he rubbed his neck for a second. Oh crap he'd said that out loud hadn't he. Figures once again he couldn't keep a damn thing secret at least not from her. Since he didn't want to discuss his clever plan of sleeping in a trunk half the way here he knew he needed to quickly change the subject.
“You said something about a body in an alley?” He repeated, that explained the smell, and was perfect opportunity to change the subject from fis slip of tongue. “Sounds like Rattlesnake, he really does go for the whole cliché creature of the night killing in an alley thing. No shame with that one.” He said a bit dryly shaking his head slightly. He remembered the first time he'd met Rattlesnake, having a slaughter in an orphanage in Rome. Some vampires we're just a little more awful than rest, and Rattlesnake was on of them. But Spike and Dru they might just be worse, plus Spike had a reputation for killing slayers. He had like two under his belt know. Val only Rainer through reputation and well, he had one hell of a reputation even compared to most ancient demons. His train of though broke when she mentioned Cinnamon.
“Cinnamon?” He asked trying not to laugh and failing miserably. “Is there like a special naming book for slayers cause I swear not a one of you has an average name.” He teased. Then she went on about what exactly made the middle of freaking nowhere so special. Gate to Hell, now that explained a lot, nothing about this town felt right. The Chosen One, she who could open the gate and bring forth hell on earth. “Well as far as apocalypses go this would rank near the top.” He said slowly. His demon half, the part he kept buried and tried desperately to ignore was in absolute awe of the idea. Val knew it was bad and he knew he'd stop it or turn to dust trying. Val sighed and rolled his eyes at her. “You know Lexi you don't have to make threats, I'll keep a secret if you want. I mean geeze you act like I'm some sort of gossip or something.” He said grinning a bit, he was glad it wasn't awkward between them, he figured it stay that way as long as there was work to do. “So I guess it's off to see Grimm now? Funny I never thought you'd go back to working for the council.” He said shrugging.

Rattlesnake ignored the demons threats and simply rolled his eyes. “No worries, I pinky promise not to drain the girl, I'll save all that sweet young blood for you, sir.” He said half sarcastically, though that part about the blood was making him hungry again. He wondered if any humans would be out and about so late, he doubted that anything appetizing would be out this late but he'd give it a shot if this damn meeting ever ended. He studied the demon for a second, he was a bit ticked that he'd failed to mention that Spike and Dru would be here, but Rattlesnake really wanted that stone. He thought for second, maybe the demon would be a good alley to have, so rather than antagonize him he should get on his good side.
“Sir you have word, not until after the girl is yours, but after that, well, all bets are off.” He said grinning, he was gonna turn that Spike into a pile of dust and as for Dru, well he needed to do something with a bit more flair for her.
Spike smiled at Dru and thought of them sharing a bite on the beach. Now that was something to fight, and kill for. After she and the cat exited the car he flashed an apologetic grin to Shadow. “I apologize for the driving Shad, keep for getting they don't make seat belts for felines.” He said to the pet, he knew the cat understood what was going on, maybe even more than he did. He followed Dru to the door and kept a eye on her, he could tell when she was having a vision, and he liked to keep an eye on her when she was, as that was probably the only time one someone could be a real threat to her. He noticed the cat's reaction to the door and frowned. Obviously something wasn't right, then he heard that damn name again and the door opened revealing the last person he wanted to see.
The second Spike saw Rattlesnake he lunged across the room, closing the distance between them in just seconds and throwing the first punch.
Rattlesnake being slightly smarter than the 43rd president of the United States saw that one coming. He blocked Spike's punch and grabbed him by the throat and lifting him a few inches off the ground, squeezing just tight enough that his nails drew blood. “Dru, baby, better keep your blonde dog on leash, seems like he hasn't been housebroken yet.” He taunted
Spike knocked Rattlesnake's arm away and threw a quick punch into the vampire's stomach and another hitting the vampire in the face. Then he turned his attention to Rainer. “Dammit you didn't tell me he would be here.” Spike shouted at the demon.

Xandra narrowed her eyes a little at Val's teasing about how Slayers didn't have an average name. Though she did have to agree with him on Cinnamon's name. Who in their right mind named a child after a spice? Then again her own name wasn't exactly listed at the top of the most popular baby names. "Well it makes sense, since we're not average," she said instead of agreeing with him. "The average person with the average name doesn't spend the majority of their lives tracking down and killing vampires," she added, shrugging her shoulders.
She relaxed her shoulders some when Val said that he wouldn't tell, but rolled her eyes at him. "Not a gossip, but it's not like you haven't slipped up before, Valentine. Remember that young werewolf we met about five years ago?" she asked, raising an eyebrow slightly. "He didn't know he was a werewolf yet when you spilled the beans. If you remember, he freaked the hell out and we had to spend the rest of the night chasing him down. I got a broken wrist out of that deal because of you," she grumbled. It had healed three days later, one of the perks of being a Slayer meant she healed much faster then the average human, but still it had been a pain in the ass three days.
Xandra's eyes instantly narrowed and her hand shot out, grabbing the front of Val's shirt and pulling him down a little to eye level when he said that she was working for the council again. "I should stake you on the spot for even suggesting such a thing. You know how much I hate the fucking council," she nearly hissed. Xandra relaxed her grip and let go of Val, crossing her arms over her chest. She'd never been shy about her hatred of the council, and any mention of working for them was the quickest way to piss Xandra off. "I'm not working for THEM. I'm doing a favor to Grimm by agreeing to train Cinnamon, and I'm doing what Slayers are suppose to do by trying to keep that damn gate closed. It has nothing to do with the fucking council, just because they're working on this too. I owe Grimm some huge favors and if I don't stop that gate from opening then everything I've done for the past 16 years is pretty much pointless, and that just pisses me off," she said. If the world was just going to go to hell after everything she'd done, she would have spent her time differently, like maybe becoming some hot shot attorney, that had always been what Xandra actually wanted to do. Of course by the time she was 18 she'd gave up on that dream. Xandra took a deep breath, blowing it out slowly and getting her temper under control. "And yes, I'm going to Grimm's next. That's where I was going when I found the dead girl and you," she said. "You can tag along if you want, I guess, you probably will anyway," she said sighing. "Besides, we can use all the help we can get. We're already outnumbered in the Vampire-To-Slayer ratio. No surprise there, though," she grumbled. With that, she started walking, she didn't pause to see if Val followed or not, she just assumed he probably would.
As Xandra began walking, she suddenly rounded on Val again, walking backwards as she faced him. "You actually hid in a trunk of a car on the way here?" she asked, remembering his slip a few moments ago. "Is there anything you won't do to keep from missing the fun?" she asked, shaking her head. Xandra felt the corners of her mouth pull up into a small smile and realized that her voice sounded teasing. Damn. She cleared her throat and turned back around, walking forward again and making sure to keep some distance between them. She had to be careful, she'd slipped a little just now, teasing Val again. Xandra sighed and ran her hand through her hair, this was going to be difficult, it was too easy to fall back into old habits with Val because she was too comfortable around him, it was easy to forget that she'd broken things off with him. Then again that could have been because sometimes she actually wanted to forget that little detail. Not that she'd admit that, of course.
As they reached a small shop, Xandra walked down the alley behind it. "Grimm said to just come to the back door," she explained over her shoulder to Val. As she reached to knock on the door, she stopped as she heard a noise coming from the dumpster across the alley. Xandra sighed, glancing at Val to see if he'd heard it as well, and pulled her stake out of her belt, and walked over, flipping the lid up. She expected to find a vampire hiding out, waiting to attack. Or maybe a human that was running from a vampire, that was usually the two things she found hiding in dumpsters. However it wasn't either one of them that came jumping out at her. It was a surprised, snarling werewolf. Xandra cussed and dropped the stake, reaching for her silver dagger in her belt instead as the werewolf let out a loud, and rather annoying in Xandra's opinion, howl, and jumped out before she reached the dagger. Oddly enough though, the werewolf didn't attack, instead it knocked her down as it jumped out, then took off running past Valentine, and out of the alley.
"Since when the hell do werewolves hide in a fucking dumpster?!" Xandra grumbled, climbing to her feet and grabbing the stake she'd dropped. She frowned and looked up at the sky. "It's not even a full moon, what the hell?"
"What's going on out here?" Grimm asked, opening the back door and stepping out, looking from Xandra to Val and back. "Did I hear a werewolf?" he asked.

Rainer narrowed his eyes and let out an annoyed sigh. Damn vampires, always fighting and destroying things. Hadn't anyone ever taught them to fight outdoors? "Since when do I have to report to a vampire whom I hire to work for me?" Rainer hissed coldly at Spike, snarling his nose up on the word 'vampire'. "Last time I checked, you were coming here to work for me, not the other way around," he added.
Dru frowned and paused for a moment as everything happened quickly as the door was opened; Spike lunging at Rattlesnake, Rattlesnake expecting it and doing his usual taunting, then Spike hitting him and yelling at Rainer. That certainly hadn't been how she'd expected this evening to go. By the time that Dru got into the room, Spike was already yelling at Rainer. "A dog is much better then a snake. Snakes are gross and dogs are cute," Dru replied dryly to Rattlesnake's taunt as she walked over to Spike.
"Now, now, Spike, relax," Dru said as she came to a stop beside Spike, putting one hand on his arm and the other one his shoulder. "It's not that big of a deal that Rattlesnake's here as well," she said in a relaxed tone. That, of course, was a huge lie, Spike would know that. She was about as happy that Rattlesnake was there as he was, but she wasn't about to show it. She'd discovered a long time ago, when she'd first had the misfortune to meet Rattlesnake, that he liked taunting people, getting a reaction out of them, that was how he got his kicks, and Dru didn't intend on giving that to him again, she'd done enough of that when she was human. Of course, Dru usually tried that tact and never got it to last very long but it was worth a shot at the moment. "I'm sure that Rainer doesn't expect us to work alongside with him, right?" she asked, looking to the demon. His eyes had shifted to pure black, never a good sign with demons, it meant that Rainer's temper was just barely in check. Dru noted that he much have really wanted this girl, otherwise he wouldn't have bothered.
Rainer snorted. "Of course not, I'm not an idiot, Drusilla. I'd like the girl brought to me sometime this century, and that will never happen if the two pitbulls are constantly at each other's throats," he hissed, glaring at the two. He'd already warned Rattlesnake, so he looked to Spike. "I want the girl brought to me, alive and unharmed, anything else results in your slow and painful death, in your case both of your deaths," he warned, casting a glance in Dru's direction. "After the girl is in my custody, I don't care if the three of you kill each other, but until then, I do not want any member of my team killed. Is that understood?" he asked, giving Spike one of his coldest looks. "And as much as none of you like it, not that I give a damn, you are both working for me," he continued. "Each of you will receive that stone that I promised, but the vampire that brings me the girl will received a special reward. So I suggest you don't waste any time," he added, letting a cold smile appear as he looked between them. "Here's a picture of the girl," he added.
Dru reached over and took the picture of the girl that Rainer handed, not bothering to look at it and shoving it into her pocket. "Is that everything?" she asked.
"Yes, bring that girl to me as soon as possible. And remember my rules," he warned, looking at the two guys again.
Dru nodded her head. "Of course," she said simply, then she reached down and quickly picked up Shadow with her left hand. The cat had finally stopped hissing but was still glaring at Rattlesnake. At the same time, she grabbed Spike's hand with her right one, keeping a tight grip on him to try to keep him from lunging at Rattlesnake again. Try being the keyword of course, since Spike always just did what he wanted anyway, but she was trying to keep him from doing that because she knew a fight wouldn't go well in their favor with Rainer glaring at them the way he was, and the demon's helper lurking near the door. Fighting both of them and Rattlesnake wouldn't be easy. Dru cast a quick glance in Rattlesnake's direction, before looking at Spike again. "Now, that the meet and greet is over, how about we go grab that snack we were talking about?" she asked, trying to lure Spike out of the house without fighting with Rattlesnake again. "There'll be time to play pest control later," she added, lowering her voice a little.
