Jacques had found the fight to be amusing, there was quite a variety of supernatural creatures here, and he had noticed there were vampires fighting other vampires. He allowed himself to hope that maybe he'd encountered vampire's like he, those who tried to do good. One of the vampire's was holding hands with a slayer. That was certainly interesting. He himself had found his fangs into the neck of a slayer many decades ago in Russia, he smiled thinking about it. She had laid him in seconds and came dangerously close to stalking him. But her blood was the sweetest thing he'd ever tasted, there wasn't a wine or woman in all of France who could compare. He'd been lucky to get out of that one alive, slayers were dangerous and Jac liked living. They seemed to busy which was fine he was much more interested in talking to the other vampire. A woman clearly blessed by Aphrodite, and now that the fighting was threw and she seemed to be alone he took the opportunity to talk to her.
“Hello.” He said as he cautiously approached the female vampire. “I am Jacques Moraeu, I saw your fight and I just had to meet the woman so hot that she creates lava with her hands. An impressive skill you have there.” He said with a friendly smile. “I was curious as to what you were fighting so fiercely for?” He added, figuring if he knew what the fight was over he might know better weather this band of supernatural fighters were his sort of people or not.

Cici just wanted to let herself rest, she was already tired of fighting. She wanted to do what normal sixteen year old girls was doing around this time and might have to wait until after sunrise. But by then she'll probably be exhausted by either practicing something or refusing to do so. She looked over at Ryder, and lifting her eyebrow at a pink haired chick and then left without saying another word, or that's what it appeared at. Then she noticed that Ryder was beside her. And he started picking at her, which made her lightly blush before she did a small shrug, "No, i wasn't. I can't fight, i was just trying to survive. And thank you." she answered, with a small grin. She heard him tell her thanks and she shook her head, "Don't worry about it, i'm sure you'll help me plenty of times." she said, with a light nod, and adding, "And awh, thank you." she said. Then she heard him say something about her bite wounds, she could feel them starting to heal a little. "Looks like I don't really needed the pink haired girl." she playfully teased, maybe she could get use to this slayer business. "I wonder if we're done with these right now." she thought outloud and then added, "How's your arm? I wonder if it'll hurt like human broken bones when it's been rainning." she said, starting to ramble, she knew he wasn't human but she was making converastion, or she hoped.

Billie glanced over her shoulder towards the wizard that she healed his arm, she smiled her 'you're welcome' but now that she was around this little witch. She was adorable, she also noticed that the girl wasn't so trusting when she started speaking. She just decided not to answer and just concentrate, she hadn't spoken to anyone other than humans, from time to time. When she withdrew her own hand and watched the young teen check out her wrist. When she told her thanks, she smiled, "You're welcome." and then she heard her comment about her healing powers, she gave a little nod, "Yeah, I know, I've been practicing." she said, most of the it was on herself because most fights ended badly when she was really young. She heard her introduce herself and Billie gave Jinx a smile, "I'm Bille, Nice to meet you." and she heard her ask if she was new, "Just arrived and saw a fight going, i'm not big on fighting but now i'm just picking everyone back up. Thought you all could use someone like me." she said, then she started to take a few steps back, "I'm also waiting for the black haired guy and the dark haired girl to finish having there moment, to help him out and Xandra seems to be busy." she said, glancing towards the two people. Then she noticed the werewolf came back, she simply patted the guy on the shoulder and gave him a little once over. She heard him tell her thanks, "Don't mention it." she replied, before walking towards the old man and whatever he was, "Hello" she said, putting her wonds end on the ground. She could heel the two people left from here, with her wond but she wasn't ready to let anyone know her range. And she was glad that she put a pointy stake in at the end of her wond (at the end). She glanced towards Xandra and noticed that her slayer abilities was starting to heel her, so she just gave them a little push.

Kuro ran a hand through her hair when she was done fighting, she glanced towards Cinnamon, Grimm, Logan and then Jinx, making sure they everyone in her name catalog was safe. And checked on the ones that was fighting on their side. She put her sakes in her pack on her leg and took off her gloves in time to hear a unfamilar voice saying hello, and then he introduced himself and she was flattered by his compliment, "Well hello there, Jacques. I'm Kuro, and thank you." she said, with a smile. And she listened to what he added to his statement, "I like fighting, plus Cinnamon isn't fully trained yet." she said, with a smile. "So what do you do?" she asked, she was curious and making conversation.

Luna raised an eyebrow when Dex spoke, apparently noticing that she had refused to turn her back towards him. Dex claimed that he only killed evil, and pointed out the same thing Luna had been thinking, that he really wasn't much of a threat at the moment. Dex then picked up his pace and passed her, and Luna turned around and began walking normally, following along behind him. Dex spoke again, this time saying that he wasn't a serial killer, that he hunted evil beings, then added that even those he didn't stab in the back, that if he was going to fight her she'd know it. Luna thought that over for a second. He did sound pretty convincing, actually. Maybe she was being a little bit harsher than needed. But it really didn't have anything to do with Dex. It was Luna. She didn't trust herself to make the right decision on who to trust anymore. She'd made that mistake once before, when she'd trusted Michael, and that had nearly gotten her killed. Luna didn't want to make that mistake again, so she just didn't trust anyone. It was safer that way. Though it was also lonelier that way too.
Luna gave a shrug. "Look, honey, don't take it personal. I have a rule to not trust anyone in general. I made that mistake a long time ago, and don't plan on repeating it anytime soon," she said, but she tried to keep her tone light. She really didn't mean to come off so strongly. After all, she didn't even know Dex, how could she know if he was trustworthy or not yet? But Luna just hadn't learned to tone it down and make it more subtle. As Luna neared the car, she suddenly got a bad feeling. She couldn't put her finger on it, but it was just a shiver up her spine that told her something wasn't right. Frowning, Luna looked around, but didn't see anything out of place. She looked back towards Dex, just as he opened the trunk. Which was a good thing, as it turned out, because it meant that Luna got to see the shock that flashed across Dex's face. Luna frowned, picking up her pace and reaching the trunk, stopping dead in her tracks when she saw exactly what was in Dex's truck. Luna's mouth fell open just a little, and then she snapped it shut. It wasn't the first time that Luna had seen a dead guy. Hell in her life it was pretty much the norm. But still, that didn't stop Luna's stomach from rolling and making her feel like she wanted to hurl. The smell certainly didn't help anything either.
Luna stared for a second, then snapped out of her thoughts when Dex spoke. Reminding her about what he'd said earlier that he wasn't a serial killer. Luna instantly took several steps back away from Dex. Great, so he was a serial killer. The one time she tried to help someone after she'd swore she wouldn't get even that close to anyone again, and look where it got her. The picture was officially stuck in her head, and probably would be for quite some time, which was why she clearly remembered the oddest thing about the dead guy. The word that had been carved into his forehead. Soon. Short and to the point, but it made no sense in hell to Luna. A threat, maybe? Luna frowned, trying to wrap her head around that sudden little curve ball. Luna shook her head, trying to clear her thoughts and looked back towards Dex. She considered leaving, right then and there. But. . . even with Luna not trusting herself to judge people, she could see that the look on Dex's face was shock. Not guilt.
Dex suddenly moving made Luna flinch. Damn it, she shouldn't let herself zone out like that. She realized he was pulling a first aid kit out of his trunk and closing the lid. Then turned back towards her, swearing that he didn't have anything to do with it, but that he'd understand if she didn't want to help him. Then added that he didn't bring good luck to people who do. Luna stayed quiet for a long moment, studying Dex. Honestly, this didn't exactly help his whole "I'm not a bad guy' speech. But. . . Luna wasn't naive or an idiot. She'd seen the surprise on Dex's face when he'd opened his trunk. And Dex had looked pretty sick from the gruesome discovery. Not exactly the markings for a serial killer. And looking at him now, he looked to be having trouble to even keep his eyes open. Damn it. Finally, Luna let out a deep sigh and rolled her eyes. "Why do I keep getting myself into these messes?" she muttered under her breath. "Just so you know, if you do end up turning out to be some serial killer and you kill me, I will come back and haunt your ass for eternity," she threatened. It was a halfhearted threat though, Luna really didn't put much behind it. If Dex was around her enough, he might eventually begin to realize that threatening was just a natural reaction for her.
For some reason, though, Luna realized that she believed him. She was an idiot. She knew she was. After Michael, Luna had swore that she would never believe another guy again. And now she believed Dex. Damn it. Shaking her head, Luna walked over and took the first aid kit from him. "Sit down before you pass out," she added. Without waiting for an answer, Luna grabbed his good arm and steered him towards a bench just a few feet away, but was careful not to yank him since he was hurt. That was the main thing that kept Luna there. She couldn't just walk off and leave the guy to bleed to death. Luna untied the bandanna she'd put around the wound, and took a closer look at it, cringing just a little. "Sorry, this is going to hurt. Well, more than it already does probably," Luna guessed. Then with that, Luna didn't say anything else. She sat the first aid kit on the bench beside Dex and opened it, and then started getting out what she needed. She started by cleaning the wound, and moved on to patching it up. Luna was careful, and tried to cause him as little pain as possible. And while she worked, she kept thinking everything over. The more she thought about it, the more questions Luna had. But the more questions that came to her, the more Luna realized she was believing Dex. She shouldn't have. The evidence certainly didn't do any good in his favor. But, there was something about him that made her believe him. What the hell that was, she had absolutely no clue.
After a few moments, Luna finished up with Dex's shoulder. It wasn't anywhere near as good as a professional would have done, but Luna thought it was pretty good. She'd had enough experience patching up wounds, she should be pretty decent at it by now. "Not good as new, but I think you shouldn't bleed all over the place now," she said when she finished. She pulled off the plastic gloves she'd gotten out of the kit, and dropped the bloody gloves into the trash can by the bench. Then closed the kit and sat down on the bench next to Dex. She stayed quiet for a second, then sighed. "I must be an idiot, because I actually believe you," she muttered. Letting out a deep sigh, Luna looked back to Dexter. "You doing alright?" she asked. Then, tilting her head, Luna raised an eyebrow at him. "I hope you realize, however, that just because I believe you does not mean that I don't have an ass load of questions for you," she said. Then she held her hand up, and counted off on her fingers. "Did you know that guy? If so, how? What the hell did that 'soon' mean? You been getting threats or something?" Luna asked. "This happen before? Is that what you meant when you said that you didn't bring good luck to people that helped you?" she added. Normally Luna didn't ask so many questions, but she figured she was already in over her head at this point, might as well know the whole story.

While Xandra was usually more comfortable keeping her softer side hidden, on those rare times she let it be seen, she never regretted dropping her guard around Valentine. Sometimes because she thought that Val had more than earned it. Xandra was well aware of the fact that she wasn't always the easiest person to get along with, she had a temper and was stubborn as hell. And the fact that Valentine had not only managed to stay with her for ten years, but hardly ever seemed fazed by anything she did, was not something Xandra took for granted.
But then there were other times that she was glad that she'd allowed herself to let her guard down for a different reason, like now. Xandra had never once doubted that Val loved her. It was odd, but it was the only thing she had never second guessed, maybe it was because it was obvious in a bunch of different ways. Even something as simple as the way he called her Lexi, or the way he looked at her. But, it was still nice to hear now and then, even to someone like Xandra. And, this time, when Valentine said that he loved her, it made Xandra remember exactly why she needed to figure out a way to keep her promise to him. It was the same thing that had kept Xandra from giving up during fights on those days when she had been so tired of being a Slayer that she just wanted to give up. And really, Xandra was pretty sure that had it not been for Valentine, she wouldn't have lasted this long. Before she'd met him, she'd been very different. She'd been much more reckless than she was now, she hadn't cared if she lost a fight or not. At the time, she'd had a very lonely and dark life, and that had changed when she'd met Val, and it was something that Xandra never wanted to go back to. She couldn't. Xandra could survive a lot, and had, but the one thing she wouldn't be able to was losing him. Which was why Xandra tried so hard not to put Valentine through that. But how the hell she was going to deal with Griffin, she didn't have a clue.
Xandra let out a chuckle when Valentine agreed that he was a bad influence, his voice full of playful sarcasm. A 'real wild party animal' was clearly the complete opposite of how Valentine really was, and Xandra couldn't help but find the thought rather hilarious. She couldn't even picture Valentine like that, really. Ever since she'd known him, he'd had such a mellow personality that even Xandra had trouble getting mad at him, which was saying something because Xandra could get mad at anyone for the smallest reasons sometimes. After she'd called the group Grimm had put together the Scooby Gang and Valentine asked her if that made her Shaggy or Scooby, Xandra pretended to seriously consider that for a moment. "Neither. I think I'm more like Scrappy Doo," she said, chuckling.
Valentine then pointed out Wolf Boy, saying that the other vampire wasn't the only one that had set the fight out and opted to just watch the action. Xandra snorted. "Well, you could get some tickets ready now and sell them to the Scooby Gang over there if they want to see me kick Wolf Boy and Vampire Guy's asses," she muttered. Xandra hated when people, especially a vampire and someone that could turn into a wolf, sat out fights. Obviously they were supernatural beings, and that meant that Xandra saw no excuses for them to not have helped. That was why Xandra hated Watchers so much. The way that they just sat back and literally watched others fight. Well, one of the reasons. The other reason was because after Xandra's parents had been killed by Griffin, and Xandra had found out about the Watchers, she had went to them for help. She'd thought that they could explain to her what was going on, and they had refused to help her. They had even refused to assign a Watcher to her, saying that because she was only 12 at the time, she would never live to be sixteen and an official Slayer. Then when she'd turned sixteen, they'd sent a Watcher to try to tell her what she could and couldn't do. Needless to say, Xandra had sent the Watcher limping back with a message that she was a rouge slayer and would have nothing to do with them. Grimm was the only watcher Xandra liked, and that was because Grimm really wasn't like most watchers.
Xandra shook off the thoughts, looking back to Valentine when he told her that the other vampire she'd spotted had a soul. Xandra raised an eyebrow at him. "I hope you realize you'll going to have to tell me later how you know that," she said, grinning slightly. Her curiosity was what made her wonder how he knew just by looking at the guy that he had a soul. But she didn't question it because she trusted Valentine to tell her the truth. Still, just because he had a soul didn't mean anything. Xandra had known people with souls to be just as evil as those without them. Which, actually, that was one of the things that had made Xandra realize that not everything was so black and white. Shaking her head, Xandra climbed to her feet, giving Val's hand a playful tug as she stood. Normally when others were around, Xandra would have let go of Val's hand before standing up, but tonight, she really didn't care if anyone saw or not, and she wasn't quite ready to let go yet. That was unlike Xandra, but then again she'd done several things out of the norm for her tonight, what was one more? She cringed a little at the pain the movement caused to shoot through her stomach and chest. The wound from Griffin, and the broken ribs she'd got from hitting the tombstones weren't exactly happy with the movement. She tried to ignore it though, and looked over towards the others, doing a silent head count. She noticed that Dex was missing, along with the dark haired girl that had joined in mid-fight.
Before Xandra could head over to the others, like she'd planned, she noticed that the pain in her side was lessening, as was the pain from the broken ribs. Xandra blinked, even being a Slayer she wouldn't heal that fast. But sure enough, when she looked down at the wound in her side, it was closing up quickly, and then completely disappeared. Along with it, the pain from the broken ribs disappeared. She was still tired, but she was more than happy to have the pain disappeared. "Interesting," she muttered. Then she suddenly realized what must have happened. Looking up, Xandra spotted the pink haired girl over with Grimm and Beckett. "Billie," Xandra said, chuckling a little. Xandra had only ran into Billie a few times, but it was enough for Xandra to know that Billie was a healer of some sort, and a good person to have on your side. Couldn't beat her healing abilities, after all. Xandra would have to thank her for helping her out a little. Shaking her head, Xandra looked back to Valentine. Which was when she remembered the incident with him and Dex involving the holy water. "Since Billie's here, we could ask her to fix that holy water burn for you if you wanted," Xandra suggested. She knew that him being a vampire meant that he'd probably be good as new soon enough, but she still hated to see him hurt, and when Billie was perfectly capable of healing it for him, there wasn't any reason for him to have to deal with it.
Remembering the incident with Valentine and Dexter, reminded Xandra that she hadn't had a chance to tell Valentine about the creature she'd ran into before Val caught up with her. "Oh I didn't have a chance to tell you. Right after I got here, I ran into some weird type of vampire. He was like a vampire/snake mix. Forked tongue, hissing, all that. I haven't seen anything like him before," she said, frowning. Xandra had seen a lot of weird things, but that one was a first. "He appeared right after the first Earthquake. He was trying to eat some girl. I did dust him, but between him and that army of vampires suddenly showing up. . . " Xandra trailed off for a second, then sighed. "I don't know. I've got a bad feeling this is just the tip of the iceberg. I think we need to be ready for anything, because I think it's going to keep getting worse until we can stop whoever is behind it," she admitted.

Rainer really hoped that Rattlesnake was the one to bring him the girl, he realized as he reached the basement. That way he could just kill Spike and Dru without having to consider keeping them around for future use. Then again, maybe he would kill them even if they did bring him the girl. Rainer didn't like when people spoke to him the way that Spike had, and even if he didn't kill him Rainer would have to figure out a way to make Spike pay for that. Several painful options were already coming to mind.
A flash appeared and Rainer found Jack standing a few feet away. "Griffin got the Slayer blood for you," Jack said, holding the knife out for Rainer to take. "I was watching, it was the older Slayer, not the Chosen One," he added.
Rainer nodded his head. "Xandralexia, Rattlesnake told me she was in town," he muttered. It was hard to not hear about that Slayer, between the fact that she kept a vampire for a pet, and was the only Slayer as of yet to live past the age of 26, she had an interesting reputation. Rattlesnake had asked if he could kill them, and while Rainer didn't have much hope that the dim-witted vampire could pull it off, he certainly wouldn't mind to have those two put out of the way. Well, the Slayer at least, Slayers could be trouble. The pet vampire Rainer wasn't concerned with. Any vampire that hung around with Slayers obviously weren't very smart, and were weaklings. Then again, any Slayer that hung around with a vampire must be stupid as well.
Rainer walked over to the alter, laying the knife down on the table and started gathering the ingredients for this spell. This spell would be his favorite yet. It would bring a creature there that hadn't stepped foot on Earth in thousands of years, and was far from being easily killed. In fact, there was only one thing that could kill her. Anything else was useless against her. The last time she had been on Earth, she had killed nearly every Slayer in that generation, all but two. It had been the last two living Slayers, with the help of a wizard that had managed to banish her back to where she'd came from.
This time, Rainer thought she'd have a little extra work cut out for her if she started trying to kill all of the Slayers again. There was currently 13 Slayers. Which had never been heard of before. Ever since the first Slayer, there had been exactly 12 Slayers in the world and never any more. When one Slayer died, she was replaced by the next in line. So how there had came to be 13, Rainer wasn't yet sure. It might have been because The Chosen One was a Slayer. She had been what increased the numbers. Or maybe it was that Xandralexia had lived two years longer than expected. Rainer suddenly wondered if Cici wasn't suppose to be the one to replace Xandra. If that was the case, she'd failed miserably since Xandra was still kicking. Whatever the case, Rainer shrugged it off. He was sure Glory could take down the Slayer numbers again. He was already looking forward to working with her, and seeing what damage she could do.

Dru only barely heard any of what was said between Spike and Rainer, in fact, she didn't even know Rainer had left until she heard the door slam. It was Rattlesnake's fault, of course, for distracting her. Dru narrowed her eyes, glaring at Rattlesnake when he 'reminded' her of the fact that he had been the one to turn her into a vampire in the first place. As if Dru could ever forget. There were certain things from her human life that were blurry now, but there were certain things that she knew she'd never forget. And one of them was the time she'd been forced to spend with Rattlesnake, before he'd finally turned her. Nor would she ever be able to forget when she'd woke up a vampire and having to adjust to that. Dru had also been forced to figure out what the hell she was, and how to survive as it. Yeah, not something easily forgotten. Which was probably why she still couldn't shake that feeling whenever she was around Rattlesnake. Even being a vampire, and on equal ground with him now, Dru still felt that same fear she'd felt that she'd felt when she was human. Which, needless to say, annoyed the hell out of her. Especially with the fact that Rattlesnake constantly harped on it.
She didn't have a chance to respond to him though before he left, which was probably for the best. Dru refused to let her front down in front of Rattlesnake, but it always became harder and harder the longer he was around. Dru gritted her teeth, fighting off a shiver that tried to go down her spine when Rattlesnake passed by her, getting close enough to flick Shadow's ear. The cat hissed, and snapped at him, but Rattlesnake had pulled his hand back too quickly for the cat to bite him. Probably for the best, since Dru didn't want Shadow getting sick from the rotten blood he would have gotten from Rattlesnake.
Rattlesnake then said something about another Slayer, and her pet vampire. Dru blinked. There was another Slayer in town? Well, wasn't that just great. A Slayer with a pet vampire though. . . that sounded suspiciously like Xandra and Valentine. That was the only Slayer that she knew that kept a vampire for a pet, and she didn't know of many vampires dim enough to hang around with a Slayer. Spike must have realized it about the same time that Dru, when he asked Rattlesnake if that was who he meant. Dru had to admit, she enjoyed seeing the smug smile disappear right off of Rattlesnake's ugly face. And she also enjoyed the fact that he'd obviously slipped up. After Rattlesnake had answered Spike, Dru grinned, forcing out a laugh. "Oh, I see. You probably shouldn't get your hopes up then. Didn't they already kick your ass a few times before?" Dru asked, not being able to pass up the chance to remind Rattlesnake that he'd failed to kill the Slayer once before.
Spike's threat of tying Rattlesnake up and pouring holy water down his throat made Dru grin. Hmmm, now there was a very good idea. Dru already had a lovely little picture of that in her head as Rattlesnake left. Yes, that did sound like a good plan, and was all the more reason to get this newbie Slayer and bring her to Rainer as quickly as possible. Spike spoke again, this time asking Dru about going Slayer hunting. She'd rather go Rattlesnake hunting, but. . . Dru nodded her head. "Sounds like fun," she said. "It sound be easy enough to grab the little girl and bring her back to Rainer to get the gems," she mused, "as for Xandra and Valentine. . . it has been awhile since we saw them. Might as well pay them a little visit," Dru added, grinning. Dru turned and left Rainer's, they still had a few hours before sunrise, but Dru didn't want to waste a lot of time before finding one of the Slayers. "How about we start looking at some of the graveyards?" she suggested. Slayers loved to hang out there and watch for newborns after all, and from what Dru knew about Xandra, she always did nightly rounds at the local cemetery of whatever town she was in. A town this small shouldn't have that many, Dru guessed.

Jinx would definitely have to start working on her powers and getting them better, she silently decided. First was Ryder, the wizard certainly knew what he was doing with his powers, and now Billie, the. . . healer. A good one, too. Both Billie and Ryder were making Jinx realize that her own powers weren't really up to speed, and she was pretty much useless in a fight with them. A depressing thought, actually. She shook off the thoughts though, and kept her grin in place when Billie answered her question, saying that she was new in town and that she wasn't big on fighting but had decided to help patch up everyone that was hurt. And added that she thought that they could use someone like her. Jinx let out a light chuckle. "Yeah, looks like we could. I think nearly everyone here got pretty banged up," she admitted. Not exactly a comforting thought, but Jinx was just happy that there didn't look to be any casualties on their side. But the fact that the fight had been so bad. . . was a little unsettling. Jinx hadn't ever seen a fight that bad before.
Jinx raised an eyebrow at Billie when she said that she was waiting on the dark haired guy, and dark haired girl, and then that Xandra was busy. Jinx had seen the two people that Billie was talking about, but she didn't know who either of them were. They didn't look even slightly familiar to her, but they were obviously on the same side, right? As for Xandra. . . Jinx glanced across the graveyard, and spotted the girl that she was pretty sure was Xandra from Grimm's description of her. The guy with her, Jinx guessed was Valentine. It was interesting though that Billie appeared to know her. Jinx didn't get a chance to say anything else to Billie though before Logan came back over, and Billie headed off towards Grimm and the guy that had turned into a wolf.
Jinx shook her head, and pushed her blonde bangs out of her eyes as she looked back to Logan. "You alright?" she asked. He looked like it, as far as she could tell, but she wanted to make sure. "Interesting fight. . . never seen one this big before. Or that many vampires in one place," Jinx said, frowning at the thought. The most vampires Jinx had seen in one place was three, all newborns that had risen the same night. And they had been sort of clumsy newborns. The vampires tonight were clearly not newborns. But the fact that they had just appeared out of nowhere. . . well, was a little unsettling. It made Jinx wonder just what exactly was going on.

Grimm had managed to ask Beckett a few questions. Not many, and not everything he had wanted to, but he had asked Beckett why he had been watching the fight, rather than helping out. That was the question Grimm was more curious about than what Beckett was. Grimm didn't like to fight, and being only human, he wasn't very good at it when it was against a vampire. But Grimm also believed that everyone should do whatever they could to help in the fight against evil. The Slayers were already outnumbered as it was, they needed all of the help that they could get. Beckett's answer wasn't exactly what Grimm wanted to hear, and didn't really answer his question, but before Grimm could try to ask something else, a pink haired girl came over. Grimm blinked at her, but then quickly cleared his throat. "Oh, hello," he said.
The girl didn't look familiar to him, but then again, Grimm was starting to think that was the theme of the night. It seemed like more and more people were arriving that he didn't know. But, Grimm wasn't arguing. After all, anyone that was on their side was always welcome. Whatever the species was, it didn't matter to Grimm. That was the other thing that made Grimm different from most Watchers. One was that he didn't like to just sit back and watch others fight, and die. But also because Grimm didn't think someone was evil just because of their species. He was naturally cautious of anyone that was around his Slayers, but he was always willing to be nice, and in time would learn to trust them.
He wasn't sure what Billie was. . . but she seemed nice enough. She wasn't trying to kill him, anyway, so he considered that to be a plus. "I'm Grimm, and uh, I don't believe that I've seen you before. If you don't mind my asking, who are you?" he asked.
Beckett, meanwhile, had been studying Billie curiously ever since she walked up. He couldn't place what her species was. And that was unusual for him. Beckett was usually rather quick to place just exactly what someone was. But, he was able to pick up a little something from the pink haired girl. She had healing magic. Interesting. It had been ages since Beckett had mat anyone with that kind of magic. "You're a healer?" Beckett asked. He never was one to be subtle, after all. "That's interesting. . . haven't met someone with healing powers in quite some time," he mused, still trying to figure out exactly what she was. "My name is Beckett, by the way," he added.

His biggest problem is staying around and gloating when he should turn and run. Appearance: History: Ethan Rayne comes from a prominent and well respected family in London. As a young boy he seemed as well mannered as the rest of his family but in reality that was an act. As was a tradition in his family he studied at Oxford and then spent some time in the Watchers academy. He was top of his class in Oxford and his family expect him to do well as a Watcher until he was expelled for practicing dark magic and worshiping chaos. He was turned in by a few classmates who were worried about what he was up to. Most of those classmates have turned up dead or mysteriously disappeared. After that he dove even deeper into black magic and demonology, he began worshiping and making human sacrifices to an ancient hell god in the hopes of gaining more power. Now, at last, his greatest wish has come true and that god will walk the earth once more. He felt her resurrection during a sacrifice and is traveling to some small town to finally bow before his god and offer what ever help he can to her. Extra:---

Dex gave a small smile when she threaten to haunt him if he turned out to be a serial killer. “Hmm, being haunted doesn't sound so bad, but I think if I was serial killer I wouldn't keep bodies in my own car or bring random people back to see them while I bleed half to death. That would be not so smart.” He said slowly as she pulled him towards the bench. He was concentrating on trying to stay awake as she patched up his shoulder. The pain from his shoulder was helping him stay awake though. He tried to keep it from showing though but he knew he wasn't doing a very good job at it. He couldn't help but wince every time she touched his shoulder and he was glad when it was over. “Thanks.” He said softly as he searched threw the pockets of his jacket for his flask. He grinned when he found it, and took a few drinks from it. “Care for a drink? Wild Turkey, and you know it can't be poison cause I just drank some.” He asked teasing a bit about the poison. A strong drink usually helped with the pain. She started asking him a bunch of questions and Dex had a hard time keeping up, he'd lost a bit of blood which made him more than just a bit light headed. He already couldn't remember half of what she'd asked him, but he figured he'd just spill whatever was relevant, he did sort of owe her one after all.
“The guy, the one in my trunk I knew him pretty well, Father O'Riley, he was a, priest at this Elvis themed church back in Vegas. There was this, umm, nest of vampires killing tourists and while I was tracking them he gave me a place to stay a few hot meals and blessed some water for me too. While I was there one of them, or something sent me a human heart in jar, just left it by the door. I figured it was one of the vampires I was hunting, I guess it, it had be something else.” He said he left out the part about the glasses though, he figured it wasn't too important. Before he'd gotten to Vegas someone had left his father's glasses on his dashboard. This had been a while after he had staked his father but he didn't want to have to explain what had happened with his father. He didn't really think he needed to share how his parents had been killed and how he'd had to hunt his father down and stake him. He didn't want to get the 'poor Dex and his dead parents' look that people who knew usually gave him. Dex didn't want pity, not from anyone.
“Anyway as for the message, soon, I guess I'll find out soon, my guess is it's some vampire with a grudge you know how petty vamps can be, probably staked their sire or undead lover.” He said, he almost shrugged but remembered how much it hurt last time and instead drank from his flask again. “But no one's ever left a dead man in my car before, and dear god my car's gonna smell like that for days.” He added groaning and shaking his head, he'd have to find somewhere else to sleep until he could get Ryder to do his magic thing and get rid of the body. “I mean that car's like my home you and now it's like, tainted, you know.” He said shaking his head, this was seriously not his best day ever. “The thing is, people I know, family or allies they usually end up dead. Most of them were hunters too, and I'm sure I don't have to tell you about how people like us tend to have short life spans, right?” He asked with a small smile. “And for the record that wasn't a threat, just a bleak fact.” He added, he hadn't made very many friends in his line of work but the few he had rarely lived past the age of thirty.
“So I know you don't trust me and that's fine and I know I already owe you a favor for helping me out but I kind of need to ask another favor. This whole body in my car business, I really need the police left out of this. I think I can get a wizard to send they guy back to Vegas and they'll find him there and give a proper funeral and all. I can't be connected to something like this, I'm wanted in Texas for arson, I burnt down a vampire nest there and in Kansas they think I had something to do with some guy's disappearance. Well I guess technically I did, he was a werewolf, running around tearing people to bits so I had to put the wolf down. You know how it is right, can't really tell the cops about vampire nests and werewolves. So if they cops find me here with a body in my car they're gonna put me prison, either for this or for the other stuff.” He said standing up from the bench, feeling a bit dizzy but well enough to walk back to the cemetery. “And we both I wouldn't do well in prison, I'm just way too pretty.” He joked a bit as he took the first aid kit and put it in the passengers seat of his car. No way was he opening his trunk again. “So what do you say? Think you can keep this between us? I'll owe you big time.” He asked, if she agreed he trust her, Dex figured she was trustworthy, she hunted vampires, she was human, and she had fixed up his shoulder. As far as he knew there wasn't any reason not to trust her word and either way it wasn't like he really had anything to lose.

Ryder rolled his eyes, being a wizard didn't really make him not human, he still had the same anatomy and all. “You know I'm not a alien right? I'm a wizard it's not like a separate species from humans, just a human who uses magic.” He said chuckling a little. “And I'm not sure, usually magical healing leaves you better than new, it sort of depends on how skilled the healer but something tells me that chick knows her stuff.” He said stretching his arm a bit, it felt fine. He'd broken other things before and he never really had a problem in the rain, then again maybe that only happened when you got really old. Ryder decided he wasn't too worried about it, after all if an achy bone was his biggest problem then he could deal with that.
“You know be able to survive is a pretty important skill, not everyone can survive a fight with a vampire, and that wasn't some newborn either. It takes real guts to even be able to stand and fight something like that, most people would run, and even fewer would be able to even think about helping someone else out in fight like that. You're a fighter, you've got the instincts and with some training you'd be a real force, not someone I'd want to mess with. Hey you got any plans for tomorrow? Maybe you could show me around town and we could get lunch or something.” Ryder found it a bit strange that a slayer didn't think she was a good fighter, he figured things like that would be like in there blood. He thought she was a bit too hard on herself, she'd pretty much just saved his life and he thought that was pretty damn awesome.
